I'll post my story below

Since I am a magic elemental, I use my own body for a mana pool. But since I have the following:
Gaia affinity
Construct race
Angelic race (divine magic)
Vitality affinity

all these form together into the ability for me to heal lost limbs in seconds. So I don't use mana to cast a spell, I use my arm to cast a spell. And then I regenerate it.

Meaning that I can regenerate without more magic.

My elite minions train all my mages up to their levels, so all of my minions are magic elemental sorcerer priest mage agents. I proceed to dispatch them around the world, harvesting magic and using their enchanting skills to seal it into their own body (it becomes more dense, not bigger) or artifacts. Then I consume either pieces of them or artifacts and gain the power. (if it is pieces of them they will keep regenerating their limb until they reach standard magic-energy density and I will stop). By this process I will be gaining a massive amount of magic power. When we have successfully depleted a land of magic (I have consumed it all), I teleport our realm to another area. I will continue this process until I become godlike in power, the embodiment of all magic itself, having consumed every trace of it. No one could even hope to stop me.

This was my first thought. You could research clinical immortality or cures for diseases or whatever and you'd be guaranteed to succeed. But it says you keep gaining new 'rivals' and 'challenges', which sounds potentially pretty bad?

Like, if it's just some rival for the Nobel Prize or whatever, hey, no big deal. But I kind of suspect it would be some power-levels-and-tournament-arcs deal instead. Like if you're researching cures for heart disease, then increasingly-powerful cardiovascular disease-themed supervillains will start showing up.

What's scarier to a woman than being raped by a demon, being haunted by it, scared by death, and enjoying the rape due to a drug induced euphoria.

My companion and I command a scouting ship. I used to be a dragon hunter before my mentor died, and his death pulled me further into tomes about whatever these cultists worship. We're working on finding them so we can bring the more combat oriented groups down on them.

So, I own a tropical island, and I have the rural populace set up nice deals for couples, get them to come out and stay a while. After I get a few couples, I lock the place down. With the powers of illusion I'll make it look like there's a brewing hurricane or something. When the people on the island wonder why it isn't bothering us, simple, I say it's because of the special anomalous properties of the island! I'm a trustworthy guy, after all. If I don't like the couples, things go badly. One kills the other in a cruel, sick way after hours of running from some threat, before the violent partner does themselves in. Their deaths/disappearances are blamed on behavior appropriate for the couple, as I'd "research" them beforehand. If I like them, however, then things are different!
If I like one of the couples in the group, they get a special suite! They get to live in comfort, thinking naive natives revere them, for as long as they want (as I get strength from their joy). Sure, I still kill off some couples (man's got to eat after all), but I'm still making people happy! As for the cult (the island population, 100-200 people), they do rural stuff, with a handful of them doing the behind-the-scenes hospitality stuff. My role would be as manager and customer service representative.
I highly recommend guests be courteous and polite on my island.

The island's got a great name if you're going for the campiest of horror, because it's a bit cheesy and it's got that kind of ring to it that would make you laugh at anyone that thought going there was a good idea.
If you want a serious name, I'd recommend going for something more characteristic of the region, perhaps the Wakashan word for wolf, or hunter, or something along those lines.

Now he has to prove to the neighboring kingdoms that he can stand up to an angry undead emperor, or be crushed. Plus, a bunch of treasonous Goombas have started up the Glorious Shiitake Revolution and are beginning to stir up trouble in the rank and file.

I am a sentient and spiteful tree, who seeks to destroy those who tread in my forest. I want to help nature grow, and despise almost every human for contributing to destroying nature. I always grow in a cleared out grove with me right in the center, drawing any wanderer to me. Many hear of the mysterious disappearances in the forests I appear in, and wish to explore to try to find whatever it is. They all quickly succumb to me. Once they get to me, they are confronted by a tree always bare of leaf, with a menacing chasm at the base. They know what the chasm leads to, and they want to turn, but the voice inside their head tells them to keep going. As they continue approaching, I show them illusions of my past victims, all reaching down into the hole to their own demise. They feed the soil that they desecrate and destroy, to redeem for their deeds. They knew this would happen, they could feel the dread increasing as they approached the grove. A grove so dazzlingly terrifying and inhuman they knew death was their only gift. My weakness is the common steel of a chainsaw or other blade, but if someone is strong willed enough to resist me long enough to cut me down, even with durability, then I move on. I respawn in another grove somewhere else as a seed, and begin growing into another tree.

There are shitposts, and then there are shitposts. Recurring threads need to be a bit more careful about self-maintenance. It's not like another thread without a persistent group of people with an investment in it; a thread like that gets shitposted right off the board and then forgotten, no big deal. on GIMP there's a handy grid tool- just divide the canvas width to work out square size, and it should work from there. The images can ruin the appearance too, so you have to be very selective.
