Canonically that is what happened according to the fluff. But technically they were always around, just not sapient or in their current malicious forms.

And I think I heard it said that it's apparently due to humans having a weird connection to the warp, but have no idea whether or not that was headcanon or real. It was never explained beyond that so take it with a grain of salt.

I'd like Tau to be more like the UFP of 40k. They're predominantly run by the technologically-advanced Tau, but have several alien auxiliaries (Demiurg, Nicassar, Tarelians, etc) which can give them a lot of versatility and give GW the ability to give models to other races in the setting without shelling out for a full new army for each.

When I played in high school there was one DM everybody liked and one everybody put up with.
The annoying part was that the better DM didn't DM very often because he preferred playing, but he was also a That Guy when he played.

I remember a green text where someone put a bag of holding in an NPC girl follower's vagina so the warrior had to fist her to retrieve his weapon. I'm sure someone has it saved somewhere.

I was in a game once where we overthrew the government in Galt and became the new ruling clique. We then proceeded to kill off all rivals, fuck up in trying to rebuild, and got run out of the country and into the River Kingdoms by the next government and its supporters.

Lancelot went crazy once and lived as a wild man in the forest for some years. IIRC he rescued a noble lady by beating the snot out of some brigand knights and she took care of him for awhile. Might draw some inspiration from that.
