Them merely -speaking- results in supernova level bursts. They are also at the very -least- the size of a solar system. The only hope that the 40k galaxy has is that they kill themselves by accident because they are fucking retarded.
>>
>>55325714
Well IIRC there are creatures from beyond the Milky Way that the Nids fear and even the Chaos Gods don't know about, so the odds that there are some kind of gigantic entity eldritchbitches from beyond reality are pretty high.
>>
>>55325714

Entities get stomped early but recover. Their cycles take too long and pretty early on Warrior had a serious setback when the second planet they crashed on had aliens who discovered what was giving their people powers and literally purged the fuck out of all of them. Sure, they still got kablammed but they weren't space faring to the extent 40k is.

If they do end up infecting an imperium world, they'd probably purge the mutated people and maybe exterminatus the place to be sure, making the cycle useless as they keep wasting energy on little. Still, by how they collect data they'd probably end up with some idea of 40k tech even if it's in the more rudimentary sense for the most part.

Their main issue is that they aren't the top dog. They are strong but stupid and stupid is what gets you killed.

Gotta ask, how would Judy from Twin Peaks fare within the 40k setting? How would the Imperium react to the knowledge of Judy and the Lodge's as a whole? Asking this because it has been on my mind for a bit, and some friends want to know.

Why the fuck do 'hams always try to relate every fucking thing to their dumbass setting? Is it some sort of hypnosis?

Poorly. Anything she tries to tell people will be declared Heresy. If she even lives long enough without being killed by Orks, Tyranids, or whatever other nasty that feels like fucking Judy up that day.

Then she'll be killed by the Imperium for being a filthy heretic, by the people around her or by an Inquisitorial kill team.

Could a master cleric feed the entire poor population of a village?
15 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Adult human can weight close to 100 kilos.
About 80% of that can be processed.
Standard food serving of meat is like 0.25 kilo.
And village population could be around 300.
Conclusion: yes.
>>
>>55325021
Yes, definitely, especially at historical levels of calorie consumption per day. Part of the reason that adult humans need so many calories per day in modern times is because we ate so well as children and grew up to be large. If humans stay small their calorie needs are significantly lowered.
>>
>>55325021
I mean, it depends? Create Food and Water is a level 3 spell that can sustain 15 humanoids for a day. Alternatively, there's also goodberry, a level 1 druid spell, that can sustain 10.
If a level 17 cleric spends all of his spell slots exclusively on creating food, he can cast it 12 times, which feeds 180 people. That sounds like a village worth of people to me.
However, a level 17 cleric probably has better things to do than feeding peasants.

dear /tg/,

we see a lot of RPG games that have mechs, and spaceship... but are there any that let you whiz around in a fancy sci-fi tank in a warzone, etc?

In nearly any game I try to add vehicles as either GM or PC.

PF? I'm typically the one with a tricked out wagon or later on if possible, ship/airship.

Star Wars? A dirt cheap frigate or something.

Often my parties will hate me initially be as time goes on, they realize having a mobile base is something you'll need/love.

I'm sure this gets posted all the time, but: what Pokemon tabletop games are there out there? My two roommates want to try a tabletop game tonight and they both asked if there was a pokemon ttrpg.

So looking through it seems very well polished, but I don't know if I care for the sheer amount of crunch that trainers alone seem to require. Do you need to so thoroughly stat trainers, or is it viable to gloss over that and leave trainers mostly to fluff?

As Dm I have had parties who would "train" their characters, this would appear as someone working out to increase a strenght stat, or someone learning a lot about something they have no skill in/ nonclass skill.

I find it easier to deal with the skill problem. Reading a book about alchemy is in character for someone who has points in craft:Alchemy, and if they don't have it as a class skill, I have no problem letting someone gain it as a class skill, and begin putting points in.

The problem begins when they expect bonuses. "I've been working out everyday for 3 months, when do my stats go up?", or "I've been training with our monk this whole trip, when do I get improved unarmed strike?"

I would appreciate any possible suggestions, that aren't telling them "no".

>>
They get the bonuses when they level up and take a level in monk or whatever to reflect their interest in those skills.
Otherwise they get nothing

This just screams powergaming, and if you enable it you are part of the problem.
>>
>>55324004
It's not very realistic to train for months and not get gains though. You should be able to increase your strength to 18 over a year with fairly easy but consistent routine.
>>
>>55324004
I don't run a combat heavy game, so powergaming isn't a huge problem, and I watch for it either way. I also don't like having a predetermined path, that is OOC. So having the organic progression based on what theyre exposed to is something I'm A OK with.

Fuck, how do I explain this. Okay, so, you know the Cold War? Well, imagine if it continued AFTER the apocalypse, the only people who really remembered why the war was happening in the first place were the leaders of each respective side, and they only continued the war was because their respective peoples literally could not live without an antagonist group.

By the way, did I mention that this is a war between Heaven and Hell? Cause that's an important detail.
