You can obliterate cities, or even entire fiefdoms.

Problem is, holding that much magical energy in your body isn't very smart. You might explode, turn into a flesh gateway of something from beyond, or ascend into a higher level of existence in a fluctuating manner - as in, some parts of you will ascend to higher levels than others, and some parts of you might not even ascend.

So you need to use a ritual to channel that magical energy safely. And you better do the ritual properly, or things might get a bit loopy. Multiple mages cooperating is a smart idea.

4. JVP is gas for delve, card selection, and snap casting at a sorcery speed for proactive interaction.

1. Very little. The deck is 45-55/45-55 against the field. Knowing how to sequence and how to maximize all the synergies to maximize simultaneous triggers is very important

What RPGs out there where you can play as a doll / manaquin?
I don't care if its big times tabeltop or a fanmade cyoa, if being a doll is a main theme (like in nechronica... sort of, they are zombies) or just an available option (like in Maid) I just want to know names and, if possible links (tough i can search the archives for those)

Anyone found any beefy but fluffy 40k8e lists?

Playing at LGS while building a new games room, 750pt patrol forces on a 4x4' table.

My list: Nids.

HQ1: Broodlord.
Tr1: Genestealers x15.
Tr2: Genestealers x 15.
Tr3: Warriors x3, scytals and rending claws, adrenals, toxin sacs.
Hv1: Carnifexes x2, dual monstrous scytals.
Hv2: Biovores x3.

749pts. A big swarm of Genies is a real threat and will pretty much ensure the Broodlord ends up where you need him.

Warriors support the Carnies.

Biovores just chuck spore mines everywhere (and are useful against Meq's and super heavy infantry).

I reckon this would be pretty nasty. What's your cheesey/beardy list?

I came in too late to ever play the first archenemy but it looked fun as fuck. Except those cards that also benifted your opponents. It seems to me like double mana would have hurt more then it gained you.

You need to make sure that everyone is willing to play a very different kind of magic game. This new one seems very balanced, from what I've seen. The Bolas scheme cards are really powerful, so if you're playing as Bolas, your opponents really need to work as a team. I also think playing where everyone had a scheme deck seems fun.

Unfortunately for me, out of my many mtg friends, only a select few like to play archenemy, simply because they prefer standard or limited. I prefer commander, sealed tournaments or prereleases, and stuff like archenemy.

It seems like a bad or dumb idea, but that Garruk the Slayer boss mode card that came out with M15, I sort of wanted to set out a mode of play where if the Bolas player only has one opponent, then maybe I can throw in Garruk and the player can use one of the other decks and also control garruk. I dunno. Just an idea.

the zhentarim in my game are mass producing and stockpiling muskets and pistols with the help of a kenku workforce. theyre doing this by replicating a existing musket they got a hold of.

what materials and facilitys would they need to make guns, bullets, and gun powder from scratch?

the first two are easy-ish
but historically the last one is the hard bit, with france and the Confederate states of america resorting to distilling it from piss, and many countries can bottleneck your powder supply by squeezing your overseas trade

not related but training
while any old peasant can be trained to fire, endless drilling and practice was required to be useful, and professional mercenaries and later standing armies could make or break a battle
and a robust supply line
your troops will always run low on ammo, so there should be a lot of logistical support for anyone with a primarily arquebus armed army

Well, for starters there's the fucking typo in the rules text. Also Terese Nielsen's name was spelled wrong in several Alliances cards, and FoW was one of them... but here it's spelled right. Beyond that, it's probably just lighting but I think the "shadow" on the top and right of the frame around the art box looks a little fucked up.

So I'm running some Deadlands and could really use any pointers on it or Savage Worlds system in general.

Running through the Plot Point campaign, ran twice in October, took a break for a while, came back to it last week. 2 TPKs. If you are familiar with the adventure, they went down to Rooster and his men. I had a couple of absent players, so I split up the lackeys and had the 2 innocent players handle four of them. The 3 remaining players went down with Rooster and 3 of the 6 men left. At which point I declared that Lacy and the absentees finished their four, turned around and took out the three remaining henchmen as Rooster fled.

They live to tell the tale and make their way to a side job that brought them to California in the first place. Long story short, a back of Wolflings have been abducting cattle, the Magnificent Seven showed up, killed several and maimed the leader before they all died. The absentees handle a wolling each, leaving the Alpha with one arm, and two others. They only manage to take out one and get a couple of wounds on the Alpha. The absentees take care of their wolfling, and one of them, with a success and three raises manages to cram a lit stick of dynamite into the alpha's mouth. As the remaining one tries to help the Alpha it explodes killing them both

Now, part of the reason they died so much if because I was goofing on shaken rolls. I was having them roll vigor to remove it, which one character had a very low vigor but a very high spirit and he went down early both times.

But a bigger reason they went down is because they just sucked all around. How do I make them not suck? The Blessed never used his powers except healing a couple of times out of combat, The guy with a d4 strength was using melee attacks, and the other guy died too quick to do much of anything so its not entirely his fault. But still, all anyone did was a standard attack every single round. How do I get it through their skulls to do other things.
