Basing question for the 40k. Are Marine Dreads, Chaos equivalents, etc CURRENTLY on 60mm bases like some people claim, or 65mm like my old plastic Black Reach dread?

I have a regular tactical squad of marines that are all on 30mm bases instead of the usual 25mm, is this ok when the rest of my army is on 25mm? the marines came from one of those Horus Heresy boxed sets but I got em off ebay for cheap.

GW's ruling is that if the bases were ever used for the unit/model in question, they're legal.

Quite a good effort actually, I'm almost impressed. A simple statement that invites the viewer to post their favorite systems, however the post also invites argument on what "Objectively good" means... subjecting the poor sap who posts 4e D&D or some other controversial system they really like to the wrath of the other posters. I'd almost believe this wasn't bait if the word choice "Objectively good" didn't feel like it was on purpose.

They're invaluable, personally. I love having the visual idea of a setting to look over even if its something abstract, especially when they're beautifully made. Even if the thing you're trying to map is more abstract, its still fun to look it over.

Its one of my favorite parts of the hobby. Getting a worldmap together and populating it is my favorite passtime, even if I'm not particularly good at it
