Well, yeah, okay.
Every piece of fiction could be described that way.
But not every piece of fiction is generated by doing something like sticking the Gunslinger with the Samurai to fight the Dark Knight and crammed into Pulp Sci-Fi.

I just thought it would be fun to try it with a bunch of random sources instead of my own biased brain.
Seeing what sort of monstrosity we could cobble together like a fat guy's plate at a buffet and then making it smooth and synergistic seemed like a /tg/ kind of thing to do.

My uncle and his buddies once replicated Omaha beach for FoW. It was pretty cool.

I always envied these people at conventions. They are so into it, usually super friendly, and have the coolest setups.

But I don't really know a lot of about some of the historical stuff, and I don't know the rules they usually use (black powder, and bolt action.. not sure what they use for war of the roses, roman, greek, etc). I don't want to get in the way of their fun.

This sounds like a game where you talk with your party before hand about what kind of feel you are going for along with what kind of adventure it's going to be (goals and the like)

From what we know? Presumably to kill everything in the entire multiverse, every last trace of life in all of creation, so that the multiverse will cease to be as it requires living beings to observe it and to know of it in order for it to exist. He may also be a servant of GOLB, and a timeless monstrosity from before even the nothing that preceded the multiverse existed.

He's your average lich in any fantasy setting, which means he menaces a kingdom for a little bit and then the pc's kick his door in and waste him.

In 40k he'd be equivalent to a Chaos Cult leader I think. Pretty sure he menaces a planet for a bit before the inquisition kicks his door in and then meltaguns him in the face.

He got beat by a preteen. He really ain't all that big of a deal.
