Could I spitball the broad strokes of my Babby's First Delta Green mission to y'all?

>Set in NYC.
>The homeless in the city have begun to avoid a halfway house in Queens. Something about it scares them. Those that go in for treatment never leave.
>Some talk of a giant, dog-headed creature, entering and exiting the place at night. A Friendly, who just so happened to be sleeping rough in the approximate area, immediately called it in.
>Ghouls. But if this is the case, this is violating the truce.
>The agents need to liase with the ghouls that live in Glendale, and find out what in Sam Hell is going on.

>As it turns out, one especially large and rebellious ghoul, and three others in thrall to him, left the warrens some months ago.
>The cemetery ghouls haven't heard from them since.
>They've acquired a taste for humans who have "seasoned themselves" with opiods. Once a week, they come in to feast.
>They're probably not going to be very responsive to arguments or convincing.

I think it's good because we've got The Unnatural, Violence, Horror. I've got a few questions, though
>If ghouls communicate through bleats and meeps, how can they be understood by people? Do they just speak in a sheepy voice?
>Do ghouls transform from human, to ghoul, and back again? Is this transformation at will?
>Do you have suggestions or advice to make this better or more compelling?

possibly have them kept in the dark because details are "need to know" but then thrust them into a situation where they are inextricably required to act or face a) watching innocents devoured b) being murdered c)failing their mission

Have the realization of what they're doing hit them during the event. Bonus points if they are the rookie investigator squad to find out whats going on versus the wetwork squad.

If not do your original thing. If so, lead them on a little more but have a few hooks drummed up for when the engagement dips low. Asspulling something at that time can lead to headaches down the road.

I play MtG, and almost exclusively Commander. I've read that this game is basically like Commander witch 60? card decks and minus the other restrictions commander enforces on deckbuilding, as well as cheap to boot.

Totally serious question:

Regardless of anything to do with rules quality, why does Pathfinder have a lot more "anime" players with anime characters than 5e?

Those are the two most popular systems on /tg/ and Roll20 but you'll see a lot more anime avatars and anime character portraits for Pathfinder.

Because 5e is more popular, more mainstream, and thus filled with "normies" who spend less time tolerating weeaboos and underaged kids.

Pathfinder, as the less popular system, is more niche and has it's own insular community, which leads to a different kind of cancer.

Take that answer or leave it.
I know I'm replying to a bait thread anyway.
>>
>>54572297
It probably has a lot to do with ease of entry alongside rules encouraging animesque character design in some cases. Pathfinder is an entry level RPG being based on D&D and had a lot of players due the dissatisfaction with 4e. Once 5e came out it pulled back in D&D purists and fans of rules lite systems with classic fantasy elements but didn't appeal to anime fans love of the flash and flair. I could be completely wrong though.

One year and a half experience as a GM. Mostly homebrew stuff with very little rules.
I just started preparing a campaign for Stormbringer and I enjoy the system so much I'll probably keep it for my homebrewed settings.
Many people in the gaming circle but we mostly already knew each other before. We're about 15 I guess ? Depends on who's the GM usually.

DM'ed since.... uh.... I THINK... 1998. I can't count the number of campaigns I've run (well I probably could, but fuck that, I ain't got time for that.) I've only made one system from scratch, and it wasn't very good: I much prefer to twist systems into pretzels with sets of house-rules. I've moved around, so there hasn't been one CORE group like you seem to have, though ATM my roll20 game has actually been my longest running campaign: 3 years and counting (well technically two campaigns now, but the second one was set in the same world but 500 years late, with largely the same players.) The systems I can remember running, vaguely in the order that I found them, but not EXACTLY are
>AD&D 2e
>That garbage homebrew I made
>Lots of oWoD games
>3e
>Shadowrun 3
>Aberrant
>Adventure! Tales of The Aeon Society
>Exalted
>Shadowrun 4
>4e
>nWoD mage
>nWoD Genius
>a nWoD hack my friend and I put together about escaped convicts from hell... oh hey, I guess I made two systems.
>Pandemonium: Adventures in Tabloid World
>Hi-Lo Heroes
>FATE
>Savage Worlds
>Final Fantasy d6

The system I enjoy running the most, and run the most of is 4e. I can sometimes be talked into running something else, and between 4e games, I tend to run Shadowrun or Hi-Lo Heroes.
>>
>>54550916
Two years, I think. I know that I managed to convince my friends to do a shot at RP when "Le joueur du grenier", "Bob Lennon", "Crayn" and "Mahyars" (youtube celebrities in France) made a litteral web serie called "Aventures". Mahyars is working in the edition industries, and proposed a simple and adaptable system.

Each time we played, we transform this homebrewed system to be more complexe, and now, we're actually going to play Pathfinder because of certain problems like :
>The GM must valid each spell. We did not have a real ressource, nor we used correctly the Pathfinder spell list.
>Basicly Everything must've been validated by the GM before hand, putting a lot more work into the GM's hands, and without a really fixed set of rules, players could not really prepare in advance their characters.

I had in total 17 players, 7 of which are in my regular rotation. We form a nice group, and each person got to try a hand at being a GM, is it for a long ass campain or a one shot.

Thanks man. I was thinking about buying 3 starters, just to have options and different models for vanila. Later maybe go deeper in to sectorials. At worse I could always proxy models. I also fell in love with two models , the croc man with sniper rifle and the tech bee. I am going to buy them no matter what, but are they also used to play ?

>>
>>54539824
You're not really going to be winning games because of what faction you picked. Infinity's internal balance is actually pretty decent. You'd be much better off picking a faction based on theme and play style rather than "This one wins". I bet PanOceania wins at your store because it has good players.
>>
>>54540089
>>54539824
Yeah, Powerlevel's pretty much dead even in Infinity between factions. Some just get more or less options in different areas. Your choices matter so much more. A very skilled player can beat a newer one with 2/3rds as many points by positioning, smart planning/list choices and maneuver.

Yes, List choice is a factor. You can't take random stuff and be as capable--- but it's by far not the deciding factor.

It is permitted to migrate a request to a new thread even if it hasn't been 24 hours since the last time you bumped it yes? I haven't ever requested something here so I don't really know the etiquette and i'd hate to commit a social gaffe.

Requesting a design of my new Rogue character, Jacobi. These are his basic design elements.
1 - General build
2 - Face, beard and facepaint
3 - Hairstyle
4 - Gear and Armour, with the knives worn like that on the abdomen
5 - Weapons. Jacobi uses trench knives, but carries a larger Messer on his belt just in case
6 - Scar. Jacobi has a scar on his right cheek like this, close to a Glasgow Smile or Chelsea Grin, going upward towards his eye/temple area

As for other details, he's a street urchin from Calimport in Forgotten Realms. He's got green eyes and blonde hair, and he's fairly tanned from the sun. He's dirty, smelly and overall not a nice person.

Thanks in advance to anyone who would like to draw him!
