I can see a regiment from a paradise world being drafted with something like this in mind. Of course, this being 40k, the chances of it working outside of cain novels are slim at best, and they would most probably end up scissoring with slaaneshi daemons.

Ok, here's what you need:

Get some deli ham slices, eggs, a block of cheddar(pre-sliced is for plebs) a bottle of liquid smoke, lard, white bread, and whatever seasonings/spices you feel necessary for goodstuff(I prefer minced Garlic, but I've heard good things about red pepper.)

The idea is that you fry the ham and the egg in lard and liquid smoke, then toast the bun in the remaining grease. Then top with seasons and cheese, let it melt. There's so much pig in there that you can easily go Ham-finite for the win, and they're not expecting it because you used Lard, Liquid Smoke, and Ham slices, not Bacon.

I let players know OOC that their animal companions/pets won't die unless their players want them to, and magically bonded animal companions can share HP with their master.

They give commands/pointers, I play the animal companion as an npc following their orders. I take a bit of liberty when I know what they want to tell it but they say it wrong though, don't want to too strict with that shit.

disease would run so rampant in a place that filthy that either everyone would have to have some sort of immunity to so many different diseases and plagues and vermin... or they would all be dead within a year at most. No one would go there for fear of getting diseased, and they wouldnt buy goods from there because of pest infestations like fleas and rats etc...
