"Primaris Begging" Edition
For all your questions on Dark Heresy (1st and 2nd Editions), Rogue Trader, Deathwatch, Black Crusade, and Only War.
Not the wargame, not Chapter Master, not Space Hulk. Inquisitor is okay, but not many people know about it.
Not sure between starting Dark Heresy 1e and 2e? Pick 2e.
>Why did FFG lose the 40k RPG License?
Because they were bought by Asmodee and that caused some sort of licensing conflict.
>Will GW make their own 40k RPGs now?
Probably not. But if they do it will likely be worse than you could possibly imagine.

Now that we have the codex, how long until Primaris rules? If you were making them, how would you handle them? Adaptation of current classes, make completely new ones, or perhaps just a single "Primaris" advance track?

Our group collectively agreed that we'd keep to 827.M41 for now, to not have to bother with the whole New Imperium thing.
It would also absolutely fucking ruin the campaign, since we're in the bloody Jericho Reaches.

Hear ye, hear ye. I hereby call to order this meeting of the most illustrious Mages Guild! Open House Week has come back around once again. Anyone is now allowed to wander through or examine any part of the guild! Except for my office. Adventurers from the Fighter's Guild will be coming in their hundreds to raid the Deep Archives I'm sure, as well as the usual thief infestation we get without fail every time we try this. Still! Regardless of how shitty our new guests may act, please do not kill them. The aim of the week is to increase business opportunities, and to get Mundanes interested in magic. A few idiots should not spoil this fine tradition. Unless they really, really screw up and have to be killed off.Welcome to the Mages' Guild. Pick a name and join in! Conflicts are resolved with d20s when needed, or with playing it out. When the thread dies on /tg/, we keep it going on archived.moe. >He wears a black tie with gold skull embroidery and his shoes are a simple sleek black
I can just tell this will be a disaster.

4-6. The party can stand to be one short or one extra, but not much beyond either.
And you need a GM.
Epic is an old specialist game from GW that was discontinued a few years ago, since then the community has taken over. Recently there have been rumors of FW releasing new Adeptus Titanicus rules soonish, and depending on if it succeeds(which likely it will) they plan to expand into classic Epic.
>Where do I get the rules?
http://www.tp.net-armageddon.org/
It's based off of the Epic Armageddon rule set, otherwise known as Epic 4th Ed, with some minor changes and new army lists. You can also find 30k rules here.
>Where do I get those fan made minis that show up everywhere?
You post your email in Epic threads and hope that one of the recasters contact you, or post on Tactical Command (http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/index.php) and hope you can find someone after you build up trust there.
>Where else can I get miniatures?
There is a lot of old epic stuff on Ebay and some manufacturers produce good proxies, like http://vanguardminiatures.co.uk/. Tacticalwargames.net, and other forums or facebook groups also do lots of trading in second hand epic minis.
>What's the game like?
Players alternate using parts of their armies called formations rather than moving and fighting with their entire force. Morale and fatigue is represented by giving “Blast Markers” to a formation when something bad happens to it, which gradually makes it less effective and stops more and more units in the formation from acting until they rally. The scale makes units with longer range weapons or high movement speed stand out more, makes maneuvering more important and allows for the use of many units that are super heavy or above in Warhammer 40 000, such as Baneblades, fliers, knights or titans without warping the game too much. The new 30k stuff is also great, and they are rapidly developing more rules for the legions as the actual FW Redbooks release.

Should a ranged operative (ghost) with pre-racial Dexterity 16 have pre-racial Constitution 14 to help them survive, or a pre-racial Intelligence 14 to assist with their skills? The character starts at 1st-level and will probably never see 2nd-level.
Hit Points are much more difficult to replenish than Stamina Points, and while Starfinder characters have plenty of Stamina Points at 2nd-level onwards, 1st-level still looks to be a "rusty dagger shanktown." A CR 1/3 space goblin from First Contact still deals 1d4 damage with its attacks, which can be dicey against an operative with only Constitution 10, right?

Are there any magic systems that can achieve the same stuff as D&D magic, or is there a jump that lets you visit a D&D setting that is edition agnostic I'm not a fan of 3.5e and don't want to need to reference the game mechanics.
>>54721014
Well, there's Neverwinter Nights, which isn't the most well fleshed out Jump, but doesn't reference a specific edition that I can see.
Or you could use Dragonlance, which has the Drawback Precarious Port for no points. It switches everything to a different edition of D&D. Though, honestly, nothing in the Jump Document itself really references the system and it uses fluff instead. So you could always just run off the fluff.
Either that or you could do what everyone else does and head over to Overlord, which is apparently Dungeons and Dragons magic lite.

Haunted.
>>54720330
Sharp cliffs on the seashore for starters- or something as impassible. If there is ever landable spot on a shore, a little hard work, some machetes, and an axe or two is all you need to start a colony.
What can I do with these in a fantasy RPG setting?
Assign random effects to major arcana, pull one every 12 turns. If you run out of major arcana before finishing the game, the moon comes crashing in and all players lose.
>>54719357
Assign a monster group to each card
Introduce the DnD legendary magic item The Deck of Many Things to your group.
IF you had a gaming secretary, how would you put her to use?
My DM has a gaming secretary, it's me. Since I'm the most invested player in the party, I keep the quest log, the money log, the brief recaps of our sessions, the rogues gallery (you know, just in case you forgot who that NPC is, again) and stuff like that.
I do it for free.
