Hey yall, looks like I might be only one here. Hope these's still others interested. Gonna be intermittently posting as story I worked on for bumping purposes.

He wasn't poor. He drops 1k+ on suits of armor and animu weeb swords on a whim. He also said he wouldn't help clean up at the end of the game because "not my house not my promblem". Some fucking people man.

Every character in this should be wearing a mask that covers atleast their mouth. The lip movements were terrible in the intro video that was released. It's not like gasmasks etc aren't common in 40k.

Go for realism, it's a lot easier to world build a coherent and fleshed out setting if you port real world rules and only use fantastic elements sparingly, also you learn a lot of neat stuff from the research you'll end up doing

I'd say it's just harder to work with, you can do anything with fantasy and everyone'll go "alright" but with sci-fi everything has to be explained lest you get "ACKSHUALLY" five million times.

Really though the niftyness of fantasy has really been worn down over the last decade or so. Before it was a genre that was rarely explored to anyones satisfaction, now we have three hobbit movies, a harry potter franchise, how to train your dragon, and dozens of minor cartoons, movies, and series.

Not the same as when 'Wizards', LotR cartoon, and Willow made up the majority of an imaginations source material.

Dedicated mill + draw effects to fuel mill and self mill decks. Probably give him man legs, and introduce him in his own plane where blue mana is either the main mana (so he's introduced to a multiverse of possibilities) or the smallest part of the plane (so he can be the reader's wide-eyes POV to highlight how cool each new plane is). Plus his mill magic isn't as exacting as Jace's was, but is way stronger, meaning he can slowly drive anyone or anything insane.

Familial debt. Comes from a noble house of occult tradition that serves as knights of the realm against the supernatural in exchange for their favored status.
As the secons born son it is his duty to serve the crown.
He's a bit of a lazy spoiled noble lad though and doesn't care much about duty and will go out of his way to avoid it. But once he gets an official petition he will begrudgingly try to complete the investigation as quickly as possible.

Basically an impatient caster who likes easy solutions, but has to deal with other magical ne'er-do-wells. A reluctant Abhorsen of sorts.

He grew up hearing about his father's expoits in the war. If he'd stayed home, whatever else he chose to do, he'd always be "Angus' son", never escaping his father's shadow.

STEP: the Next. If you have a fancy pdf that has unwanted clutter on it, here is one way to clean it.
Contact our resident Transmutation Wizard and politely ask him to clean a pdf. He will set his scrying device to accept pdfs and then you ship it to him. Magic occurs, then the pdf is purified.

STEP: 33 1/3 What Da Archive really needs at this point is a Deleter, a deadlink bloodhound. Obfuscated links are slower to check. One way to do it is for Da Editor to make themselves a personal copy of Da Archive with corrected hyperlinks.
This would not be a document for sharing, only to check links.
Periodically they would post a list of links to remove.

Da Archive is getting clunky to manage, due to size; shifting towards curated troves is helping immensely.


The first 5 pages of Da Archive have the most of the older ‘un -maintained’ troves.
The best thing is to go through them all soon and get what pdfs interest you.

Sure. I'll take a stab at it.

At a glance:
>HP and AC are slightly better than Fomorian
>Damage and accuracy are lower than the Greatclub + Evil Eye.
>Blasphemous contact is a passive.

So far he looks fairly reasonable, maybe a bit on the hard side for CR 8 because of the passive ability working every round.

Those damage resistances are significant though. The party has to use elemental or slashing damage to hurt it effectively, which will make it like he's got a lot more HP if they don't all have a decent slashing weapon available.

Combine that with the Blasphemous contact, and fighting this thing has the potential to be a real slog.

It's not particularly interesting. Basically it just beats on you doing the same thing every round, and soaks up a lot of damage.

It seems doable, but kindof hard, but it also seems tedious and long compared to some of the MM beatsticks

I think the Repulsor looks a little low-tech for the Custodes, but it's not bad. You've removed the most offensive pieces like the stubber and minigun that even Astartes shouldn't be forced to resort to. I really don't understand those weapons choices at all.

I guess the question is which set of rules to use. If you'll use Coronus rules (and just ignore the side doors) then the hull-mounted heavy bolters are fine as Lastrum bolt cannons and you're better off with twin lascannons pretending to be TL Arachnus blaze cannons. Though sticking four on there isn't a big deal and might look better if you aren't going to put some sort of casing over them.
