Honestly I would revisit the ORIGINAL world before it got unwrote, because we don't know whatever became of the residents of Morioh-Cho, or the protagonists of Part 5. Part 6 basically killing the whole universe basically put a kibash on any generational continuation.

Pretty bad ass. Easily the best miniatures skirmish game I have played in terms of hitting the sweet spot of complexity and ease of play. It is easy enough to get into pretty quickly, but deep enough where you need to spend time figuring out the ins-and-outs of each character to really know how to get the most out of them and counter a good player's strategy with them. The downside is the dice will occasionally fuck you up, it isn't as bad as other game types in terms of the dice fucking you up, but rolling 1 or 2 dice and looking for a 5 to get a game winning kick knowing the next activation you will lose when one of your players is guaranteed to get planted is pretty nerve wracking. You might feel cheated if you had to do a bunch of shit to line up that shot, but at the same time, fuck-ups happen in sporting events and luck mitigation is a small part of every dice based game.

>Better than Blood Bowl?

Two entirely different beasts. One is soccer the other is football/rugby. One uses inches based movement, the other uses grid. One is player by player activation, the other is team by team activation. One is set-up to be good for single skirmish games and tournament playing, the other really only truly shines when going through a season. One is influence by luck slightly, the other is absolutely dominated by luck and is far more of a push your luck game with some tactics instead of a mainly tactics based game with some luck elements.

I have played Blood Bowl a bunch and I have to say, it is a pretty dated game from a mechanics standpoint. Guild Ball blows it out of the water entirely in every single aspect minus the season play thing which was a pretty big point of Blood Bowl to be honest. Although the Big League box addresses this issue somewhat.

I much prefer Guild Ball as a better game objectively, but they are drastically different.

Keep a trinket or a note or a article of clothing or something to remind you that you are in a dream, and that you have an object (if you have an objective). Minds wander far when unchecked.

Have a contingency plan to "jack-out" if you need to. A whole lot of shit that could go very wrong in there can be fixed by simply waking up and realizing that none if it is real.

Also, don't fuck with the owner of the dream directly. It could be a very surreal experience for both of you.

Probably the other way around. The best way to block light-based attacks is by absorbing or reflecting them. Maybe mirrored armor, or even solar panel-esque armor to reflect a lot of the energy and capture some of it for power.

Meanwhile you can avoid projectiles by warping their path you could do that with lasers, too, but that would mean that the entire outside world would be warped from your point of view or stopping them cold, which you can do better with a barrier than with armor. If your armor blocks a projectile, you're still gonna feel the force behind it.

Similarly, armor tends to be opaque, so light has a tough time getting through.

If anything I imagine an energy shield would only really be useful in two ways: If it vaporized bullets (if it only melted them you'd get sprayed with hot liquid lead instead of protecting yourself) or if it were painful or damaging to pass through (spherical electric fence) .

Like I just used their PPC refit of the Clint and it's a big improvement in my eyes. I was kind of surprised they made one for it.

What the hell do I use as staves for my Thousand Sons sorcerers? I've got plenty of 3rd party bits, lots of arms and bolters, basically everything I need to make 40 Rubric Marines, but I cannot for the life of me find any non-Terminator staves or other sorcerer-like bits being sold.

I want to try Crisis Management with Door to Door and HHN, but seems hard to pull off effectively. Also it's such a low key damage that I'm not sure it's worth it without more tagging, but I don't want to import Midseasons because rotation. I'd like to get a feeling of the new direction.
Maybe Argus, but I'm sick of it everywhere in my meta. Classic servers with Casting Call/Data Raven and stuff.
