Its not supposed to be an Ork though, its an Orc "Orruk" whatever. It makes sense for Orks to look that way, but in a fantasy setting where the storyline for their armor is "their pigs eat armored people, they pound undigested metal from pig shit into armor" they somehow get a bright safety yellow.

So I've never played Druid before, doing a Firbolg Moon Druid now and feeling a bit lost. My party is rogue (swashbuckler twf), ranger (ranged hunter but with defense fighting style for some reason) and two monks (OH and shadow, both only at 18 dex because stormwind fallacy), all of us level 8. I figured moon druid for tanking would be good, I've got 1 feat left over (rolled a 16 so I have 20 wis using the first ASI) and I think Tome of Beasts is fine but not sure about other third party books. Any recommendations for feats/spells/animals? The ranger has Pass Without Trace but idk which other spells. We'll be fighting aberrations and vampires in a megadungeon first, then some other stuff I think and then a lot of undead.

I'm just curious as to whether or not changing them entirely to INT as a houserule would make the class unplayable. It just doesn't seem like that strong of a class if you take away the use of CHA as a primary attribute. I mean, imagine going Bladelock with INT as your primary attribute. That seems like it would be downright awful. So I'm a bit stuck.

Do not play nids. They started with a bad codex two editions ago, and have been nerfed in every codex since. The only thing that currently makes them competitive is the fucking skyblight formation, which might be legal next codex.

Depends on how much you want to play. Nids got it pretty bad this edition, and they only have a few useful models. That said, if you find more casual opponents, they can be just fine if played well. If you desperately want to play and are willing to accept having one of the weaker armies, then theres no real harm in buying the 7e codex. Otherwise, wait for 8e and hope nids get a buff.

That is why some people hate psionics.

Lv 5 wizard can cast only 1 fireball per day. Psionics can use all their "mana" to cast only most powerful spells ignoring the weaker ones. That means the can potentially can 6 fireballs a day.

So if (read as he will most definetly) spellcaster enters a fight with big number of mana points he will just nuke everything in a room until nothing moves or he will cast single target spells into one guy over and over again.

Having spell slots gives you wide range of weaker to stronger spells. You actually need to think what you will cast and when.
