All chapters have further dreadnoughts/caskets in storage, either empty and awaiting acceptable pilots, or in stasis as a way of giving their greatest veterans some reprieve from constant fighting/the pain of being horribly mutilated and shoved in a robot suit.
The ultramarines, being a first founding legion, probably have hundreds of dreadnoughts available to them. They just don't break them out for every fight.

Assuming you know about it in advnce then it depends on the setting, but there should be ways to prepare.
Magic fantasy settings you get magic amulets or spells so you don't need to breath.
Fantasy without access to the above magic you crack the doors open. Either break them so they can't self seal or block them open.
Sci-Fi get spacesuits.
If you don't know about it in advance then you all die.Unless by random chanve you have the above perperations in place or can teleport out before you suffocate.

How would you roleplay a chaotic character with high mental stats but low physical? When I think of chaotic I think impulsive but I'm finding it hard to imagine a character with good int and wis doing something random and potentially risky.

Chaotic isn't "impulsive", it's the ready willingness to break laws and codes if it suits your goals. Chaotic Good will break the law and lie if it lets his save the townsfolk. Chaotic Neutral will readily ignore the law to sex whores and is basically a rebel. Chaotic Evil is usually murderhobo tier (not always but usually).
Presuming you're not a mage character who can nuke things chaotically you could easily just have your chaotic smart person know when breaking the law is a great idea. What this great idea actually is is something else. CG might make him think that breaking the system in half may be the best way to reform the system. CN would mean >>51965178 or rebelliousness in general despite being to intelligent too rebel.

1- In D&D a lot of the dungeons are natural caves or abandoned "regular" buildings/settlements. Sometimes they aren't abandoned, and you gotta fight their regular inhabitants.
2- Staff some buildings with interesting layout full of armed goons, loot, and tell them to shoot on sight.

Traps in form of environmental danger (exposure to toxic shit of all varieties, weakened floors due to moisture damage, all kinds of things to snag on)

Treasure in form of shit that hasn't been stolen yet, copper wires.

D&D is essentially a fantasy setting with a few apocalyptic events and fallen empires. Supposedly Giants were the first civilization then the other races like elves and dwarves started becoming more active after the giants and dragon war nearly made both giants and dragons whiped out. I can't remember exactly why the dwarves and Elves went into decline but by the time humans are starting to form their own kingdoms and empires there are loads of ruins for them to go explore and most of the powerful magic items are from an age lost past.
So essentially D&D is kind of a post apocalyptic game set in a fantasy setting.

Is there be a game where the main player character is a girl/woman who is capable but does not display badass masculine behavior? She exhibits traditionaly feminine characteristics like being nurturing and protective. She has tendency towards being nonconfontational and instead finds the safest way to resolve conflict. She isn't afraid of asking more cable men to assist her when she is not up to the task. Looking for a good husband is also in her mind.
Imagine a part of the game where you ask a man to escort and protect you while you gather items of a quest. You can choose among the men in your village who have various skills. Imagine having your hand held while hiking and be princess carried or piggybacked when going through difficult terrain.

Our wizard has been using the metamagic feats in a vastly overpowered way for almost one year, using all the powerups (applying Extend Spell to inmediate spells, or Empower Spell to all spells) at 0 cost. The DM never realized that and just went along, trusting the player.
The DM just realised he has been rused the whole time and spoke to me about it. What should the DM do to him?
We have been playing >Pathfinder but that's another problem we will deal once the campaign finishes.
