ITT characters you want to play
>>52170695
Enough con, intimidate, and etiquette to get into trouble, enough unarmed and gunplay to get out of it. Great for modern / near future settings.
Work In Progress (WIP) General: I've seen another yellow one floating around. Flesh Eaters lad, when are ya gonna get to it?

Does anybody here have any experience with green stuff recasting? I got some used blackknights and some of their shields are missing, so that seems like the best solution.
Also how is the black/white miliput compared to green stuff?
is this any kind of good deal?

I used oyumaru and gs to cast spare bits for base decorations, and it works pretty well.
It's a bit of a hassle to prevent bubbles and defects, but it's possible. I found it really helps if you heat up your gs in a cup of hot water before you knead it and cast with it. It flows much easier.
Every so often, you make a tabletop gaming related purchase you simply flat out regret. You realize that, whatever you thought about the product before buying it, it simply was not worth your money. This is particularly painful when it comes to products that have never been released by pirates and thus you couldn't "try out" for free before shelling out the cash (or on the off chance you're one of those people who feel ethically obliged to just buy all their RPG products like law abiding citizens or something).
Share with us your experiences with downright disappointing products that weren't worth your time, money, or energy and explain to us why they bummed you out so much and why others should think twice before getting into them as well.

You had it coming
Anima. Really nice concept and world building. Shitty system no one wants to play...
Is there ever a time and place to kill a party member? In game I mean...
Pvp or a monster / npc to kill a PC?
I have when I confronted a party member about the fact he had been stealing from us for months. He gave a sob story. Told him no, fuck off, I'm taking him to the authorities. He tried to stab me. We fought. I came out alive.
>>52169268
>>52169291
Normally it's best to wait for a valid reason, like given as example here. If a party member is actively acting against the party in some manner, through theft or other means, killing them is fine.
I plan to kill a very greedy Cleric in my current party, when I discover IC he's been hoarding any loot he finds for himself.
It's been 30 years since the PHB races of the world stopped shrinking. One night it just started to happen and no one knows why...months later everyone was the size of a mouse, and the world was a much larger place.
Now the party must venture out into an unfamiliar world to find some answers.
Help me worldbuild for my newest campaign please.

First things first, if you aren't familiar with it, look into the Pikmin series, especially Pikmin 2. It offers a glimpse into what a truly tiny world might look like, where someone's front yard and garden can be an entire forest.
>>52167763
Also check out the Borrowers.
>>52167763
>at the size of a mouse, everyone loses heat much faster, and so everyone must continuously consume energy to maintain body heat
>humans can now lift approximately 30 times their size
>air molecules are now huge in relation to you, so falling off ledges is like slowly sinking through liquid
>Pull out of Bajor
>Forced by treaty to give up weird helmets
Why are Bajorans so cruel?
>>52165469
I... I think it is the other way around, Gul Dukat.
>>52165489
That's Gul Macet, actually, from The Wounded.
Before you call nerd on me knowing that, it's my favorite episode of the whole franchise and I've seen it like 18 times so his name stuck with me.

Hi I'm >>52116271 trying this again
I was wondering if I could get art of my dwarven cleric.
I've attached a picture. She should be wearing robes similar to those in the far right corner, except grey instead of red, and dark grey instead of orange with no belt. She should be wearing the symbol of Ulaa (mountain goddess) around her neck on a gold chain (center and left images at the top) She should be swinging a warhammer like the gold one pictured in the middle left image, except in silver.
If you could show that she's also carrying a hand axe like bottom left that'd be cool. Ideally she'd be wearing boots like the ones pictured on the bottom right. For pose, she'd be about the same as the dwarf in the picture but female, and from a more side on angle (but not quite in profile). She also has tan skin, freckles, and no beard.
Thanks in advance and sorry this is so picky :)
Requesting some cleaner art of my Egyptian-styled mage. She has some egyptian iconography on her clothes and jewelry, brown skin, bald and her magic is all based on ritual magic.
anything would be greatly appreciated
Requesting art of my Mandalorian bounty hunter. He is wearing mostly standard style Mandalorian armor with a newly styled helmet, all of his armor is battle worn with scars and blaster burns. The color scheme is like Deathstroke's armor. And he currently doesn't have a jet pack.
How do I avoid getting autists in my group?
>>52164534
Play local, so you can vette players
Or host a group chat where everyone makes their characters together, and it is up to you to allow people in as the GM
Play with friends, co-workers, etc. people you already know
Stay away from people younger than 16, generally when they RP it is hormone filled and one dimensional.
>>52164534
Make sure all of them are vaccine free
>>52164534
What I did was I advertised for aDungeon Worldgame. I got the usual assortment of flakes who never showed, a few decent players and one goofy lolrandom guy, but not a single autismo responded.
Afterwards, you guys can play all sorts of stuff, but when you're trying to get a group together, you might wanna try that. For whatever reason, that game is like sperg kryptonite.

what the fuck
>foreverGM's complaining they can't be players ever
>meanwhile you prefer GMing than being an actual player
I love making stories for my players and I enjoy seeing their reaction, plus I don't have to stop playing for any reason at all since I'm the GM
who here Loves being a GM and doesn't actually care that much about being a player?
also general GM discussion I guess
you forget
>tfw youre the only one of your friends who knows how to gm
one of the only reasons i enjoy GM is the small bit of hope that my GM drive and passion will rub off on someone
>>52164203
Eh, I do enjoy GMing or I wouldn't do it, but it would be fun to play a while. Its a different style of game and either one gets stale if you do it for long enough.
What you forget about GMing is that you can play ALL of your characters, instead of just one.
Do you prefer your villains to be sympathetic but unsaveable or just outright evil?
Yes, I prefer one of those.
>>52162927

sympathetic is godtier.

What events does your character follow? Is he a Urban Brawl aficionado? Does she really like those super fast bike races? Or does he only view Beach volley ball for the girls?

Did they ever say what happened with those Olympics that were supposed to take place in Seattle?
How hard would it be to steal a suite or extensive set of cyberware from an assembly-line one piece at a time as a factory-employee? I kind of want to make a cyborg Johnny Cash.
And on that subject: What are the more interesting/unique things you've stolen in a campaign?
Hey /srg/ I need help with a villain.
Basically he's an adept with a baseball bat weapon focus. The only problem is that the inherent accuracy of a club is ass. Is there any way to make him an actual threat or should I give up and make a new villain.

What are your favorite games that have a playing time of 90+ minutes?
What have you played recently?
Which 2017 releases are you excited for?
First for people have different tastes and that's ok.
>>52159600
> What are your favorite games that have a playing time of 90+ minutes?
StarCraft: The Board Game
Dominant Species
Through the Ages
> What have you played recently?
Been playing a lot of Through the Ages online and mostly I'm getting my shit pushed in.
Also played Mansions of Madnes last week
> Which 2017 releases are you excited for?
None really. I bought War of the Ring and expansions to Last Night on Earth and I don't plan to buy any other board game this year.
I planned to maybe buy Arkham Horror: LCG but seeing some of the opinions here and the cash-grabbing nature of LCGs I think I'll pass.
I'll think of getting 2017 games in 2019.
>>52159636
Preach it.
>>52159600
>What are your favorite games that have a playing time of 90+ minutes?
Rex, TI3, Kemet if it goes a little long, big HoN scenarios, New Angeles is pretty satisfying so far but needs more plays.
>What have you played recently?
Crossing, Kenjin, Santorini, Arsenal, Sheriff, Deception, Secret Hitler in the last week or so, but nothing meaty. I hunger.
>Which 2017 releases are you excited for?
Not a ton so far. Expansions for stuff I already like, a couple KS games that I'm hoping hold up.
>Giga Robo
>Tortuga 1667
>2R1B Expansion
>a single Custode costs as much as an entire Space Marine Chapter to train and equip
How exactly is this considered cost effective?
Also...
>Custode 40k Codex soon
>>52159562
It's 40k, I ain't gonna explain shit.
because they're they emperor's royal guard you fucking heretic
>>52159783
ONE. COSTS. AS. MUCH. AS. AN. ENTIRE. CHAPTER
