Because if you have a class for it, it's either gonna be shit or reload at absurd speeds compared to an archer.
Assuming early firearms of course. More modern guns wouln't post a problem with that but would make anyone question why even use fantasy weapons.
The best usage is to make them not that rare but to make the reload actually cumbersome. Then you got utility as people carry one or two pistols.
No heavy gatekeeping behing feat taxes so anyone can use it. Players love it, get inventive with experimental loads. Guards use them with bayonets because as a bunch they got a way to reload while other are shooting and still can stab stuff.

But gunpowder in any format? Yes. God yes.
I have never, ever had a groups whose first reaction to learning that a gunpowder analog exists in-setting WASN'T to stockpile as much of it as they could get their grubby hands on and try to use it to build massive bombs for the dumbest reasons.

Yeah probably no support crew slot to accommodate a low cost.
I'm pretty psyched about two ships in one expansion pack.
And even if you want more upgrades than supplied in one pack you get a pretty solid ship number for a possible ramming "swarm".

Where were you when GW jumped the sh--- OH SHIT I CANT DO IT! IT'S JUST TOO FUCKING AWESOME! I CANT EVEN FUCKING SHITPOST THIS PROPERLY!
I mean, how can I hate this? How can anyone hate this? I am supposed to despise this company, and yet time and time again they pull shit out that's like it was meant for me. I've barely been able to hold out being charmed for so long with those treemen and megaorks, then they give us this: metal bearded steampunk dwarven sky pirates on gunships. It pushes all the right buttons as though when I sleep my body sleepwalks and travels across the ocean and works with the GW design team.
I almost pains me to say this, but I think I'm going to have to make the jump into AoS. Maybe it really isn't that bad, I mean I see it growing exponentially as evidenced allover the internet, maybe there's something about it. I usually didn't give it a thought due to lack of interest, but I don't even have that excuse anymore.
Fuck, wtf, I like aos now.

Try it with white if you feel that would be better then. It's a helpful guide, not divine scripture for fuck's sake. I agree that the darker colors on the end don't do it for me personally, but it's still infinitely better than anything I could do.

I agree, I'm not saying it's a bad paint job by means, don't get me wrong. I just feel like for a paint job made by the paint god of GW it just doesn't make sense, maybe its some reverse flame because of the emperors power idk.

Been excited for thh mystic since take one come out, in 4ed I played a psion and a battlemind. My DM knows this.
