Aside from a bit of rewriting on the Touhou I'd say I'm still looking at a Sunday release. Though I may push it back if I can't get Touhou right the way I want it.
>>52339549
Release it for Saturday of the next week, and when the inevitable shitstorm happens, you can blame it on April's Fools.
Pic, very, related.
Nah. Elves and half-orcs actually get along, but there's no distinct hybrid of the two.
>>52339146
Yes, but they're pretty rare and are usually the result of a half-orc and a half-elf having a kid that ends up an an elf/orc rather than a human, instead of the result of a direct elf and direct orc having kids.
But it does happen. And they look like your pic...or like this.
>>52339146
There might be half-orcs touched by fair folk meddling, but I'm not particularly planning on putting D&D elves in the setting.
What's the minimum iq required to be a mekboy?
What's the average mekboy iq?
>>52336398
Orks are mushrooms, OP...
A strong 10-15
>>52336398
Mekboyz generally aren't intelligent. They know how to bodge stuff together by instinct and a lot of it only works by faith. Some Big Boss Mekz might be more cunnin' than others, assuming they didn't rise to their position by raw brute strength.
So what did Evard plan for those black tentacles to do?
>>52336223
Since it's a damaging spell that restrains anyone in the radius, I assume it's purpose was restraining his enemies to the fireball's radius.
Subdue his enemies. I mean he's fucking Evard. If he wanted them to be penises or aphrodisiac spraying hentai tentacles they would be
Years ago I would have give you this answer >>52336250.
But it's 2017, we saw enough hentai to know what he had in mind now..

How fucked is the world?
>>52336083
I am the DM. Nothing changes. I don't feel like playing anymore anyways.
Everything you expect is always opposite.
>>52336083
I don't think Patton Oswalt would allow a female character dressed like that in his games. He's kind of an SJW now.

What the crap is this?
Can she and her army kill your setting's gods?
>>52327737
I don't know who she is, but my setting 'gods' can't be killed. Killing is not a concept that applies to them. They are not destructible beings of energy occupying a different plane while watching and tugging the strings of reality. They are literally the source of the raw matter than composes the fundamental fields of physics that allow the world to function. If you could delete one, and you can't, it would be like erasing an arbritary chunk of code from a complex computer program. It would simply not compile.
It's not that existence would be destroyed. Because that implies progression over time. It would never have been in the first place.
fuck off back to sufficient velocity
My setting does not feature Gods.
It features Omega Points settled in artificial universes where the laws of physics are designed to encompass the whole of the Omega Point. As in, the reality in which an Omega Point exists, enforces the existence of said Omega Point, regardless of what an outside-universe force tries to inflict on it.
anyone else think Southeast Asia is underrated as a setting?
the rajas, the indian conquests, the architecture, the landscape, the mythology, the mismash of religion (polytheism, shamanism, hinduism, buddhism, christianity, and now islam)
discuss here, post inspiration
>>52327527
Islam was present in the region before Christianity was introduced to the area.
>>52327559
cool!
>>52327527
Very underrated. AoE has an expansion on it though
Good morning and welcome back to Ask A Judge!
>>52324079
Slow morning!
Nice, this is just what I was looking for.
I tried looking it up online, but what's the difference between "choosing" something and "targeting"?
Like, last time I played the situation came up that I had a Gravepact out and my opponent had a few creatures, one which could sacrifice the other creatures ( Scourge of Skola Vale ).
Now Gravepact triggered and I was pretty sure that he could not choose a creature and then sac it to the the Scourge.
Am I right or wrong here?
Could also come up when I play Curfew, is it different here?
>>52325847
Targeting targets. Choosing does not. With the exception of Aura spells (because that's baked into their rules), something 'targets' only if it actually uses the word TARGET, either in the text of the card, or in the rules text of the keyword (Equip, for example). Otherwise, it's not targeting.
If you're instructed to "choose" something, you aren't targeting it. Curfew also does not target anything. Each player simply picks a creature of theirs and bounces it.
Your Grave Pact question is something different than that; they can't sacrifice the creature to two different things. They sacrifice a creature as Grave Pact's triggered ability resolves. They can't activate Scourge in the middle of that, and even if they somehow COULD, Grave Pact would say "Cool, now sacrifice something to -me-, not to yourself". Trying to use one sac for both is like trying to use one green mana to cast two Llanowar Elves.
What should WoTC do for the April 2017 Magic banned/restricted list update?
Standard should adopt a restricted list.
Standard:
Banned:
Felidar Guardian
Restricted:
Gideon, Ally of Zendikar
Unbanned:
Smuggler's Copter
ERRATAS:
Nahiri, the Harbinger: The -2 ability now reads "Exile target Artifact, Creature, or Enchantment". The -8 is now a -9.
Lost Legacy: "Nonartifact" restriction removed.
Crew: Can only be activated at Sorcery speed.
>>52318065
They should follow Konami's example and unban cards, then change their oracle text to make them suck.
>>52318231
Like this?
Jace, the Mind Sculptor
2UU
Planeswalker-Jace
Loyalty: 3
+2: Scry 1
0: Draw three cards, then put two cards from your hand on top of your library in any order. This ability can only be activated once per game.
-1 Return target creature to its owner's hand.
-12: Exile all cards from target player's library, then that player shuffles his or her hand into his or her library.
Or this:
Stoneforge Mystic
1W
Creature-Kor Artificer
1/2
When Stoneforge Mystic enters the battlefield, you may search your library for an Equipment card, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library.
XW, tap: You may put an Equipment card with converted mana cost X from your hand onto the battlefield.

Redpill me on GURPS. Is it worth learning? Is it a standalone system or is it a tool to create systems?
What are the pros and cons of using it? Is it hard to learn? Is it fun to play? How complex is chargen?
Pic unrelated.
>>52303741
Its far too front heavy for a lot of people, and by design it places a lot of work on the shoulders of the DM for set up.
But it does have a lot of really great, really well researched and put together sourcebooks that are well worth looking at for enhancing other games and settings you want to play.
>>52303876
Basically this, GURPS Alternate Earths for example are some of best alt-history I've seen, but I never really wanted to bother with system. It was fun to play with a GM who handled all the crunch (so players didn't need to understand the system) even if character creation was pain.
>>52303908
>>52303876
I'm a GURPS GM, and this sums it up. I handle the crunch, the players only really know how the basics work, though eventually they learn pretty well in my experience, but it starts with it all on your shoulders. Also chargen takes about an hour and a half per character if you want to do it right. The game in motion with a competent GM is a thing a beauty though.
It's a lot of fucking work. Really, if you read it over quickly and it just doesn't click with you, it's unlikely you will have the will to put in the front load of work necessary. So don't force yourself. Those books are great for info though. Art is atrocious for most, and I think nepotism is to blame.
