It's on my board game shelf along with two of the expansions (i think that might be all of them?). Toking Hazard came with rolling papers which I had a good giggle at.
It's a great game to bring over friend's houses, especially if there's going to be some people you're not particularly close with. Everyone's sick to death of CAH so it's a good alternative.

I'll always recommend Roleplaying Public Radio Actual play. They've got a wide variety of games they place, like most of the ORE games, Delta Green, Cyberpunk 2020, FATE, a DnD campaign, and my personal favorite, their Eclipse Phase campaign, Know Evil.

In Wind Waker, the idea of a little girl being a pirate captain was cute and silly, and ultimately more believable just given the kind of guys the pirates were.

Fa/tg/uys! I need some advice
Ship's bout to get boarded by pirates.
We discussed after the session that we actually want to find a nonviolent solution. The party face is a high charisma paladin of a goddess of peace and the DM wanks over good RP (We get cool shit and xp for unconventional resolutions).
The paladin, obviously, we want spearheading the operation because he's a fast talker and is, duh, a paladin of peace.
So, any interesting ideas for convincing the approaching pirates to leave us the fuck be? We didn't get close enough to see what race they are but they're probably all humans and fishfolk

How are you going to talk down pirates? They're literally only there for your gold and your assholes. I guess you could offer either or both of those for free, in exchange for your lives. Maybe threats might work, if you can make them think it's not worth the risk to attack you. Or you could offer to aid them against some rival pirate I guess. Maybe you could pretend to be an agent of the crown and suggest giving them a Marque to become privateers.
I don't understand the attitude that Pathfinder players have toward the game. Do they think it's a perfect, unsullied gem? I would play the shit out of a revised, streamlined, slimmed-down Pathfinder 2.

When did you realize that the superior style of GMing is to not have plans, pretend that you have a ton of complicated plans, constantly ask the players questions about what they think will happen next in a tone that vaguely hints you're mocking them then using a random mishmash of their own suggestions and direct contradictions thereof while pretending you were planning this all along? You do a minimum of work, you look smart, the players feel smart.

Yep. It saves you work, allows you to be surprised by what happens too, gets them involved in the world, and frequently they come up with way better stuff than you could have, and you never have to throw a bunch of work out because one of them spots a hole in an upcoming plot. The games I've run this way have been more exciting and unpredictable than the before. If you're decently good at improv and tying disparate things together (and your players will be helping you with that), it's the best.

What if there was no Light or Dark Side and the effect the Force had on Force Users had more to do with how much Force you channel then how you use it. So the Jedi who are all about restraining themselves and subtly using the force aren't all that effected by the Force, meanwhile the Sith who are all about cutting loose and channeling tons of power end up having the massive amounts of energy fuck up their body and mind.
