What's your fastest deck? How consistent is it?
>>52505644
Refer to my post:
>>52505627
I'm referring to eldrazi processor
>>52505644
>What's your fastest deck? How consistent is it?
I've only piloted Hidetsugu a few times, so my quickest win was merely turn 7. On the plus side, he's fairly consistent in dealing damage. If I don't win, everyone else will be in the single digits.
Fuuuuuuuck I cant wait for spoilers.
Which God are you most hyped for?
>inb4 multi color babbies crying
Fastest deck is Xenagod by far. T4 30/30 Worldspine Worm is nutso.
The BBEG in your campaign won (because you and your party are inept) How does life change for the common man? Can I raise my daughter in the new regime?
>>52498040
>Big Bad Evil Guy
What a dumb phrase.
>>52498096
I apologize, I'm an old user, it's customary to include trigger warnings these days isn't it
>TheBBEGin your campaign won (because you and your party are inept) How does life change for the common man? Can I raise my daughter in the new regime?
Well...
>BBEG wins
The land is conquered by hobgoblins
>The party wins
The land is conquered and settled by orcs from another continent.
Honestly, I dont know which would be worse for the native folks.
So what do we think their abilities are going to be? Obviously they will be indestructible, but what else? How big and how bad?
Also, reminder:
Cat Woman = White
Crocodile Dundee = Black
Jacket Ding Donghae = Red
Birdman = Blue
Snakester = Green
WWWWWOOOOOAAAAHHHHH
>>52495024
White's mechanic seems to be embalm. All creatures in the graveyard have embalm would be pretty good for the cat.
>>52495090
Every embalm creature has a matching token, so that wouldn't work

THREAD QUESTION:
>What are the gods like in your games?
>>52494168
Does anyone have a copy of the 4th Printing of Swords and Wizardy Whitebox?
The copy in the mega trove is broken.
>>52494168
Saw the OP imagine and thought that someone had created a 3rd LEGO general. Color me disappointed.
>What are the gods like in your games?
5 to 15 HD, very rarely as low as 3 or as high as 16.
Always with a thematicly appropriate Special Defense.
Almost all of them live in the mortal world.
>>52494409Why are LEGO dice so expensive?
i was going to go the the 5th ed general, but as the name says its 5th ed. so I'm just gonna pop this out here.
I've heard its the worst of the editions, but i want to run it. i didnt have fun with 5th ed when i played it a year ago but i still wanted to give the system a shot.
can you recommend any books other than the players/gm book. and any good modules?
I've been a GM for about 3 years, running games in anima beyond fantasy and GURPS so dont worry about teaching the basics.
>>52484018
I honestly can not. 4th has solid combat mechanics, and is probably the only edition where martial fighters are useful.
But the supplements are pure crap.
>>52484051
You're gonna have to elaborate on that.
Giants should have their own plane of existence like fey often have.
>>52481186
>When manlets get so mad, they want a separate reality of their own
>>52481186
THEY DO, IT'S CALLED JOTUNHEIM
>>52481186
Consider the following: the giants should not have any planes of existence, and neither should faeries.
Why do so many systems insist on using the turn-based combat model while it is clearly shit? As soon as DM asks for an initiative role it breaks apart the immersion and turns the role-playing game into a number crunching video game.
Just look at how the Dungeon World handles its combat. A seamless transition between fights and role playing.
>>52520949
>>52520949
>tfw someone makes a point you can see the value in but mentions DW so you know the thread will be shit
>>52520949
>Just look at how the Dungeon World handles its combat. A seamless transition between fights and role playing.
Can you give a brief summary so I can choose if I want to read more based on something more than your unargumented opinions?
How do you "explain" a plothole/mistake during a campaign?
Pic related
"Yeah...you are right. Weird, isn't? "
>act mysterious
>pass a white note to another player.*
>>52519555
"Yeah, that is weird isn't it?"
"What is your character's X knowledge/stat rating? We can roll to see how much of that they realize"
"Try not to meta game that unless it is something your character would also know"
Basically play it off like it is intended and they figured out a plot point. Then revise your adventure to include the explanation for it. It will make your players feel smart for figuring it out, and if you are lucky they will think you are smart for having having good puzzles/mysteries in your campaigns.
"It's not him..."
And thus it ends.
This is the final set of Moorcock related comics.

It's the final set in the sense that we have covered every major one related to the canon.

What does terrorism and cultism look like in your setting?
>>52517025
The last time I answered this question honestly (for my Modern spy game) I got banned by the mod for being "off-topic", so I'll politely decline.
One: That's terror.
>>52517025
Just your run-of-the-mill Imperial Guard separatists, not much of a cult. The campaign hasn't yet gotten far enough to get me to flesh them out. Any ideas? Setting is a marooned solar system within a large warp storm with some orks and a decent government, but these things don't really warrant the existence of a separatist group. The worst thing they've done so far (as far as the players are concerned) are raids against loyal troops.
/v/ here.
what are some videogames inspired by board games?
Cyberpunk 2077
Supposedly Europa Universalis is based on a board game.
blood bowl
>a rebellious noble takes advantage of a moment of weakness and tries to push his claim to the throne
>campaign starts in the middle of a siege
>The players are part of a mercenary army hired by the pretender
>They fight through the castle and into the throne room, but the royal family is gone
>They collect their payment and look for a new quest
>Down at the docks a merchant is looking for mercenaries to escort his shipment of pottery across the sea
>Once aboard it is revealed the king and his children were hiding below deck
>He tries to recruit them
>They must travel to the nearby city states and assemble an army to take back the kingdom
>Had a map prepared for this, wrote down what each city state would demand in exchange, etc
>Players attack the bodyguards, kill most of them and throw the survivors overboard
>IM THE CAPTAIN NOW
>They sail the boat back to port to turn in the king and his children for a bounty
What do?
>>52516415
The New King gives official positions as the new diplomats. Same quest, but now they're sent to these places to bargain treaties to further cement his claim as new King.
>>52516415
>What do?
Well, what do you want to happen? Do you really want to keep the pretender in place or not? What plotpoints do you have prepared?
On top of that, this isn't anything unusual. Sellswords fight one war on one side and another on the other, or sometimes even one battle on one side and another on the other. Hell, Condotierri sometimes switched sides during a battle because the other side offered them more money.
Given that they're mercenaries and just want their money, handing over the king for a bounty was the better option by far.
They were practically guaranteed to be rewarded, and that reward came immediately. Any payment the king could have promised them would have been off in the distant future, and be reliant on him regaining his throne—which at that point was neither assured, nor even very likely.
Going along with it would also have been risky and difficult—rather than just fighting under someone's orders, they would have had to work as a small unit, defend the royal family from attacks, and risk their lives on a daily bases (rather than just once in a while as they would as part of an army).
And what for? The promise of a reward if this defeated king who needs to beg the help of some sellswords somehow manages to rally a new army and defeat the guy who took his castle and forced him into hiding?
Knights sworn to the king or idealistic heroes might have gone along with this plan, but not some seasoned swords for hire.
