I'm a DM, and one of my players have a characters that imbue the essence of magical items into shells, to then fire them thru a rifle (similar to the one of Irvine from FF 8).
Sometimes the effect of these magical shells will be obvious
>Using a minor orb of fire will generate a magical fire explosion
Sometimes the effect would be less obvious
>Using a ring of possession to make the people caught by the shell to execute every order they'll receive for X turns, but the explosion would be so big to also caught the wielder.
sometimes the guy would be so stupid to imbue magical items without knowing its true nature, so I may need you to generate various effects, NOT too much random (sadly it doesn't have the same potential as random potions effects) Ok to self harming effects, also, if you want to think about the original magical artifact linked to the imbued effect you are free to do that as well.
Do your worst.

I honestly feel that Games Workshop should have made one official Maneater for every faction, and thrown that Maneater into the list of models for that faction as well as put them all into the Ogre Kingdoms list.
I mean, they fucking knew we were using Ogres as unit filler. The older supplements showed us exactly how to do that. They may as well have banked on it.

I'd like some opinions on an idea I've been batting around in my head. The idea revolves around the Warlock invocation Voice of the Chain Master, particularly the part where it says "you can...perceive through your familiar's senses..."
I'm not really sure what to make of it except that it means, rather than using an action to sense through you familiar (and blinding yourself in the process), it's simply always on, you just get more eyes and ears and olfactory senses and whatever. The second part of the idea involved using it with a crab familiar inside a Fog Cloud. Since the crab has blindsight, I assume that it would mean you could use the crab's senses inside the Fog Cloud to keep yourself from suffering from the blind condition, but I'm not sure if it's legitimate. So I'd like other people's input on the issue.
