Party is going to get dropped in hell - or to be more accurate, in the Gray Waste. One of them is a herbalist, and I thought I'd simultaneously flesh out the world they're in and drop her a bone by throwing some weird planar plants, herbs, and roots for her to pick up.
What manner of weird shit would grow in a gray, dusty, lifeless hellscape ruled by night hags? What sort of strange properties and applications could they have?

Help me fa /tg/ us!
One of my group is a dice nut and quickly loses interest in a session if there aren't a heap of dice rolls. We've been playing 3.x and 5e, but we're getting to a point where the campaign and players are calling for a little more subtlety/ politicking.
The times we've tried, he picks fights with npcs just to get combat rolling again.
I like the old WoD system, as everything pretty much rolls the same combat, social, and skills, but I don't think it does a good job with fantasy stuff.
Any systems the hive mind can suggest? GURPS might be too complicated, but I'm short on experience in other systems.

/tg/, I need your help with ideas for my campaign.
Basically, the campaign is to go underground in a complex of crypts and catacombs underneath the capital, where in ancient times, they used to bury their dead. The players are looking for a specific jewel that was supposedly buried there, but I want them to know/feel that the complex is massive - I don't want them to find the right path in the first attempt. I want them to go over random tombs and crypts for a bit before finding the right way to the place they need to go.
So, because of that, I need ideas for what they could run into in those crypts. Naturally, I need ideas for encounters and challenges, but I also need ideas for objects, decoration, etc, all sort of things they could find there.
Just so you guys know, the setting is medieval fantasy in a way similar to Game of Thrones. So naturally, lords and shit have better (and probably private for their family) tombs.
pic related: I'm also looking for ideas for coat of arms, in specific, for this noble family that the players will "find" (go into the tomb of the family), that has been centuries gone (last decedents died long time ago).
tl;dr -> Ideas for encounters/objects/decorations for crypts or tombs. I would also like to hear your stories of things you did as DM or things you ran into as normal player.

So none of my group have seen the walking dead or read the comics. I chose the group of bandit antagonists they're facing to be similar to the saviours, their leader of course being based on Negan. They fell for a similar "trap" to Rick and co. with attacking bandit outposts and thinking they could kill them all. Right about now they're due a line up and someone is going to die - the players know any of them can die at any moment. We made that clear from the get go. Any tips on executing this?

I once played a dwarf aether/earth kineticist in a level 17 campaign where everyone else was tier 1/2. Strangely enough, it went pretty good, because the other 3 party members were

So i did the main blaster damage. Having move earth and stone shape at will also helped, along with a houserule of the DM that every 1 hp/hd healed removed 1 point of burn.

When the degenerates and parasites are removed
DM is shifting gears on us from a forever fantasy to Shadowrun. I have 48 hours to build a character and didn't see a 'primer' on character creation like I'm seen in the /5E/ and other threads.
