That's an enormous skull, man. Also, it's unclear where the skull ends and the neck begins. Alltogether, Mr. Crocodile there has a much bigger head than a human, with plenty of room for a brain. It might be a little flatter than an ape brain, but it need not be any smaller.

The Grouch and the Gnome, both of whom thought they were volunteering to "stand between their loved homes and the war's desolation" as it were, don't listen to the Cable and volunteer themselves for the bargain (sight unseen). Entropa gives each of them a lascivious, lingering, draining kiss, and steps back looking pleased with herself.

After these 2 PCs both made their decision, and (figuratively) signed the contract, I announced: "Both of you lose 4 points of CON each."

I don't want to create a world where only good things can happen to your characters and there are no long-term negative consequences; that's a handout/Monty Hall world, and it's not interesting.

The players are split. All the players whose PCs did not make the bargain, and I, think it's a perfectly sensible consequence & an interesting wrinkle in the plot. All the players whose PCs did make the bargain think it's a senseless, unprecedented, and ridiculous thing to do to characters they've nurtured since level 1; the equivalent of "Rocks Fall, Everyone's Atheist."

What do, /tg/? And as a related, complicating question, is it a Good act for a paladin to knowingly fall in order to prevent a greater evil from happening (not that either character in this question is a pally)? Mostly empty, with some smaller gangs strewn here and there, with occasionally a BIG gang that has a lot of firepower
So far my players hadn't had many jobs in the barrens

Hey guys, I'm a fairly new Shadowrun GM. I know how the rules work so that's all good, and i'm comfortable with character creation. But does anyone have any explanation or any links to resources going through how to construct a run? Like building out stuff for a location they rob or have to infiltrate for whatever reason? Do you just kind of drop or make up info during the legwork phase depending on the player's actions?

We're using the robot stats from Reign of Steel in a setting where a similar robot revolt apocalypse occurred but with the twist that a transhumanist country managed to hold off obliterate their rouge machines and then exiled themselves into space. After some decades had passed these posthumans then decided to send down soldiers to save what remains of biological humanity.

The below is a rough sketch for what the mind upload exile soldiers will "wear" as they militantly end their self imposed diaspora.

Well, I figure it's been long enough, and I've actually done some additions.

Applique Armor v0.65, now with Ram Badgers, Locust Littlejohns, and some rules stuff for Ram Kangaroos and Littlejohn adaptors. Dragoons (motor platoons can drop out of transports and shoot at full RoF) has been removed due to a lack of historical basis, 8 tradesmen has been clarified, Medium Artillery Support got a bit of a points increase, and the Tip and Run rule for Archers got a flat cost.

Importantly, this if for V3, it is not updated for V4 and will not be for some time. For those not familiar, it's split into three sections (new options/equipment, Funnies, and special rules), in decreasing order of my confidence in their balance.

As before, any and all feedback or criticism (as long as it's actually saying something in addition to "u r a fgt") is welcome.
