Roboute Guilliman vs Lord Solar Macharius in a giant tactical battle. Takes place on a planet they have both had a month to study and learn about its strategic worths and pitfalls. They are both deployed to the planet at he same time and there is nothing on this planet except the natural wildlife. This is a safe planet as well. Contains all types of terrain and all seasons.
Each have one company of space marines that will obey their orders to the letter.
Guilliman controls the current Ultramarines (pre Primaris marine) and all of their relics and artifacts.
Macharius controls the current Imperial Fists (pre Primaris marine) and all of their relics and artifacts.
Both have a detachment of 100,000 Imperial Guardsmen, 5,000 pieces of armor, artillery, and support vehicles, 10,000 tech priests and servitors to help build fortifications and fortresses where needed, 5,000 Sisters of Battle, and 1,000 pieces of air support.
They have a year to make one or the other submit to them. Who ends up losing first?

All right so I had a idea for a character a while back but I need to use /tg/ so I can break it down in a way to make sense and I don't know how to describe this in conversation with players without causing confusion.
Imagine three points in history, one in the past, one in the present, and one in the future.
1:The past has a set of magical plot mcguffins that hold a large amount of mcguffin magic, it is neither a utopia or a dystopia but it certainly has problems and world threatening events every other day that the local heroes need to solve by strategically punching someone. So basically most fantasy settings. One day a creature known as "Mkz" shows up and steals these 6 of the 7 mcguffins, injuring most of the heroes in the process and making life much more difficult for people in the past. Even killing one and ultimately endangering the planet as a whole.
2:Present is further ahead of this and is a future where all but one of these mcguffins are missing because of the creature, this future is certainly through the mud, but functional. One day a bloke who has control over the world's power supply creates a machine to harness this mcguffin's power for more electricity and somehow accidentally creates a time machine.

3:Using this machine he peers into the future and sees the same generator, but powered by all of the mcguffins and a society surrounding it that has become a utopia because of the infinite free electricity for everyone. He also finds a note and set of instructions in that time that boils down too "go back in time and steal the mcguffins". The problem is that this future is so far ahead of the present that by the time this person's children's children are born it would have just started up due to political nonsense and distribution problems. Thus meaning that this person is Mkz, went back in time, fucked up the heroes of the past, and stole 6 out of 7 of the mcguffins. Almost dooming the world for a future that he'll never live to see. Time working like that one episode of TT "how long is forever" if the villain was actually correct about how time worked.
So with this in mind, how evil would Mkz be? Would he be in the wrong?

I'm making a Persia themed Imperial guard army. What are your thoughts on a bright and extremely inconsistent color scheme? Also any advice on army composition is more than welcome, this is my first 40k army.

I'd say pick three, maybe four colours for cloth and vary them up for patterns.
Armour should be one colour across the board for tying the army together look-wise; maybe have a different colour for officers.

I've actually had an idea for a game very similar to what you are talking about. The game starts in an evening party in some manner of rich socialite manor, from which people gradually start missing. The deal is that the family who owns the place actually has a cursed artifact inside their home as an heirloom, tonight is the date when the planets align and the object is at its strongest, and cultists are launching a discreet invasion of the home to use the thing to turn people to monsters.

Hey /tg/ what kind of system would you use to run an 80's style youth adventure type game. Been rewatching things like the Goonies, E.T., Monster Squad, Gremlins, return of the living dead 2 etc from my childhood and been checking out modern throwbacks like Super 8, Stranger things and the It remake. This shit is comfy and nostalgic as fuck and the idea of playing a game where you and some friends roam around your small town on bikes avoiding bullies, trying to convince or evade teachers and parents and fighting of monsters, aliens, whatever sounds pretty fun to me. I'm just having a hard time placing it in a system that would work well.
Also just share your favourite 80's adventure aesthetic.
