So I made a character named lucian ulktorian who was a blaster cleric a form of cleric that specialized in casting fireballs who worshipped a deity that no one in the group respected so they made fun of my character openly laughing at him [in character of course]
I agree to tag along with them because they needed someone to keep them healthy and so we went to hunt down a group of minotaurs
i roll the highest initiative so i got to go first in combat
there was around 4 minotaurs all pretty closed grouped up together but we got caught so we rolled for initiative to see who got to go first
i rolled the highest so i got to act first before everyone else and then i said the words that must NEVER be said in public ever again
I cast fireball
all 4 minotaurs gone in a instant
Everyone now knows the name Lucian Ulktorian and the gm still hasent forgiven me to this day.

A player wants to play a Necromancer in my upcoming evil-themed Pathfinder campaign I am running, and he asked about some of the problems he would face in my game. I explained to him that the biggest issue will be walking around with a growing horde of undead trailing in his wake. He asked if there was a way to fix that and all I had for him was buy invisibility rings for his undead.
But it got me thinking, what clever ways could a Necromancer travel about and still keep his undead with him without arousing unwanted attention?

Well, in 3.5/Pathfinder a Necromancer actually isn't going to have a big horde. Undead armies are for clerics of death gods, the independent researcher in the necromantic arts is going to prefer a small number of powerful servants over a huge amount of sword fodder. So that makes them much easier to hide.

Let's talk combat vs. noncombat resources. Do you think it's a good idea to do something like the vigilante where your combat stuff and noncombat stuff are on separate tracks, so you don't have to choose between them? Do you think Spheres of Might would be great with something like that?

Kineticist actually came first with the whole "combat/noncombat" track division thing, but I agree with the sentiment. Combat/Non-combat resources SHOULD be on different tracks.
There was some anon doing a "Techniques" thing for Path of War, which was non-combat stuff related to disciplines that you could pick up. I think it's a fantastic idea.

I feel like it should have been that way from the start. There should be a difference between things like Run and Power Attack. I hate how every time I make a character I have to ask myself whether I want to be useful or I want to take the cool character building feats that are usually worthless like "+2 to hit a specific color of dragon sometimes", all my builds are too feat starved to do both.

I do think it's a pretty good concept, but broader; social would only be one part of general noncombat problem-solving ability, which allows more variation in which noncombat problems each person can solve. If everyone's just equally good at social, no one is.

So how does the Selective Tangibility feat for the Deathless Ghost actually work? It lets them interact with objects normally, but they have 0 carrying capacity because of no Strength, so what can they actually do with it?
