Which magic item could a player most easily break your game with?
>>53091996
The Deck of Many Things is usually the answer.
Shutouts to Luck Blades, sufficiently intelligent players can word a wish in such a way that any campaign would be derailed unless the DM straight up broke the game to say no.
>>53092237
>Word a Wish
Nothing but a meme, wishes aren't granted by some force of literalization or metaphor, they are either granted by an outside source, or attained through self study. In either case, grammar nazis don't control the outcome, and only bad DMs will pull that shit.If a creature is bound/forced to grant a wish, and has to do so literally for some reason, whatever, but that isn't generally the case outside of actual contract wishes.

Does anyone know where I can find all, if not, most cards to print? Too poor to afford all the expansions
Nigga the ink will cost you twice as much as the expansions.
>>53091385
You don't need the expansions right away.
Get Vanillla first, learn the game, and you can loose all your friends before even needing the expansions.

What are good alternatives for Diablo games?
Dark fantasy, dark atmosphere, etc etc

Exanima when it's done.
Torchlight, Path of Exile, and arguably Hatred.
Though this is more of a /v/ topic, really.

Elf Suppliments for Pathfinder?
I want to run a campaign in the Feywild, it is supposed to be a civil war.
>>53091249
Feywild is more a 4E thing.
If you want elves and their shit, you look for "Elves of Golarion", or you look up Kyonin on the Pathfinder Wiki.
If you want fey and their shit, try looking up "The First World, Realm of the Fey."
But gnomes are the default fey-linked race in Pathfinder's default setting.
>>53091288
>>53091249
Inner Sea Races can tell you more about elves, as well. You might also want to look up Heroes of the Wild, it's got a fair few fey-related character options.

Are there any waifu CYOAs where the waifus are actually interesting characters?

Out of curiosity, when you folks are play Diplomacy, do you consider it ok or bad play to continue negotiating after you have been knocked out of the game?
What about if the still active players approach you instead of you approaching them?
>>53089819
TFW you bought a spiffy-looking deluxe edition of Diplomacy but can never get your friends to play it because it's too "serious" of a game and they're all pussies who feel bad about hurting somebody else in a war game and/or get bent out of shape when things don't go their way. TFW even Dominion is too hard core for some of them.
>>53089819
if you're out of the game you're no longer a power worthy of diplomatic recognition and should be rightfully ignored
>>53090239
But with that said, I think the standard approach in war games is to sideline yourself once you've been knocked out of a game. You're no longer involved and should let the folks who are playing the game do their thing without your interference. Of course, some of this tradition may come from the fact that people tend to be less interested in the game after they're knocked out of it and therefore etiquette has developed that justifies/promotes folks not having to give a shit about the game anymore. Really, I think the answer is to talk to your group before you start play and come to a consensus about the issue.
I'm looking at making a board for 40K using pic related. I wanna use these foam mats so I can make small incisions to slide aquarium plants into (I plan on making some pretty dense jungle).
Does anyone have any resources for board making? Especially stuff regarding how much cover there should be.
With the interlocking plates I should be able to mix and match terrain features fairly seamlessly.
Any advice would be welcome. Cheers.
>>53089813
Any reason why wouldn't just use insulation sheets cut into squares? It's cheaper and probably less of a hassle than those puzzle pieces.
Here's a resource for making features
http://www.tripleacegames.com/terrain-building-guides/
And here's one for a modular table
http://www.coolminiornot.com/articles/6397-how-to-make-modular-terrain
As for how much cover, I suppose it depends on the rule set.
>>53090256
>Any reason why wouldn't just use insulation sheets cut into squares? It's cheaper and probably less of a hassle than those puzzle pieces.
I'm not that great at cutting things, so I'd probably end up with various sizes that don't fit together properly. I've had a look around for different prices and I've seen them as low as 6 bucks.
>>53090339
Alright, reasonable enough.
Well, I'm unsure of the material, but if it's not rigid enough then whatever your glue will probably fall off--just something to consider.
Here's another thing you might wanna take a peek at

In my setting, Gondolas are essentially the "angels" of the deity of beauty, travel, and peace, they spend their immortality peacefully wandering the many planes of existence to see all sights and travel all roads.
>>53089014
Yes.
Telepathic contact with a Wanderer is a great way to test your San and to gain some valuable knowledge.
No one attacks them though, they don't make noise and they don't enervate dogs, so people just stare at them while they pass.
They are the only creature with no image in my setting though. They don't know they are just gondolas.
>>53089093
Sounds comfy. I'm a little curious though. What do you mean by they're the only creature in your setting with no image?
What happens if someone tries to attack a Gondola? Surely they don't retaliate. Should they just be unkillable? Should they even acknowledge violent attempts against them?
Yugioh has a shit-ton of God-like cards with multiple powerful effects.
What are some cool God cards in Magic?
Define "cool", amonkhet currently has 5 Gods, more to come on the next set possibly due to one being a "god pharaoh" but they are creatures that can't be destroyed by battle, and can't attack unless certain conditions are met, 3 creatures required, 1 or less cards in hand, 7 or more in hand, sacrifice a creature, or having a creature need a certain power (4), while all having a way to turn themselves on with their abilities in some way.

Bolt Ace 5 then Urban Barbarian, in my book.
Guns are loud, crossbows are quiet. Urban Barbarian has controlled rage so you can still sneak while raging.
I always found it weird that vehicles that get wrecked (don't explode) allow all embarked soldiers to leave but never the drivers.
Do you guys agree that when vehicles get wrecked (don't explode) the driver should be able to embark and continue the fight?
The driver would have similar stats as a normal infantry man but be armed with a pistol but no close combat weapon (only get the base attacks in a melee, not the +1 from close combat+pistol combo).

Just started the iron warriors omnibus and it's such a great departure from the night lords omnibus I just read. Really makes me like the iron warriors already
>>53087358
The last one I've read was Storm of Damocles, 2 days ago, I thought it was pretty good made the deathwatch my favourite faction in 40k, bonus points from me for dead tau!
>>53087358
Two great tie-ins to this series is Angel Exterminatus, a Horus Heresy novel featuring Perty and most of the main cast of Storm of Iron, and the Ultramarines novel Dead Sky Black Sun which takes place on Honsou's fortress of Medrengard.
Sucks reading Angel Exterminatus AFTER Storm of Iron though ;_;

Finishing Garro up
Next on the list is Mechanicum
then on to the Night Lords Omnibus I've had sitting on my desk for the past 6 months. Did you not like it enough to recommend me skip it if I don't like the NL that much?

What are some doggo battle maneuver-type shenanigans I can try to get passed?
Training a dog to disarm or grapple someone doesn't seem like too far a stretch.
>>53086599
Depends, what's the dog's name?
>>53086599
You can teach it to Yiff in Hell.
>>53086599
Yes, disarm and grapple is good.
Also you could teach him to use a katana like in Shinobi.
