Anyone have any games going on on Roll20? Really want to play in an AP...
>>53242043
That's never happened to me.
>>53242082
i know of
https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/76813/the-skull-of-the-stupidly-enormous-trouser-serpent-god
But i haven't kept up with any others.
Since I feel like it's a good topic let's discuss.
How do you feel about the rule of cool?
An entertaining campaign should reign supreme. This means that it shouldn't be too easy people should fail, however if something would improve the game and be a lot of fun, and a player was one number low, let it slide why not
the stuff storytimes are made of

it's fine if you just want to dick around with your buddies, but it's poison for a serious game
Your most recent character is working as a gate guard when a lich approaches the city alone and calls for a parley. What do they do, /tg/?
As a guard I don't have the authority to make the call and simply inform my superiors. Whatever they decide, dealing with liches is way above my pay grade and I won't get involved.
>>53240744
She's a warlock.
For some magical secrets and / or tomes, she can let anyone in.
He's an active precog with a railgun. He figures out if this is going to end badly and if so introduces the lich to the wonders of Deuterium and high velocity
How is this game called /b/? I found it some months ago in a magazine but it never said the name of the game. I made a simple one in here, but there were some that were really difficult with building with 6 floors
can you solve it? (I know that it is really easy)
>>53240539
>/b/
>Really difficult
>Really easy
This is the weakest "lol is ez 2+x=2 but it's not 0 lololol" click bait shit I've ever seen.
Fuck off. Don't come back. Where the shit are the janitors?

I thought this was picross before opening full picture. I think I like picross better.
I've been toying with the idea of having smaller sized siege weapon pieces in my game, ones like pic related that the party could easily wheel around and use. As it would be less useful for an actual siege, it would mostly be used to hunt down large monsters.
Specifically, I was wondering about the possibility of having two on one platform, layered and staggered from each other, allowing for regular use as well as pairs of bolts with nets and stuff attached between them.
So share any art you got of interesting siege equipment or just big fantasy weapons in general.
What's /tg/'s opinion on the characters in Wrath of the Righteous?
>>53240523
Its pathfinder by the looks of it, so its probably bad.
>>53240558
Yeah it gets talked about a lot for being mechanically bad, but what about the roleplay and characters?

I want to run a game of Jackie Chan-esque hand-to-hand fighting.
>>53240400
Wish, it's designed exactly for that.
>>53240400
Wushu rather. Autocorrect is a dick.

Dark Heresy has All Guardsmen Party.
Legend of Five Rings has Stonewall
What is the definitive 5e story?
>>53240135
Here's a much better question - what are 5e stories, period? If there are any famous ones, I've never read them.
>>53240135
>Dark Heresy has All Guardsmen Party.
>Legend of Five Rings has Stonewall
>What is the definitive 5e story?
Aren't those systems/settings in general though and not specific editions?
Trickster Clerics get proficiency in either stealth, slight of hand, or deception and can use Blessing of the Trickster on themselves, would this fix them?
Has anyone ever successfully unfucked a foil?
>>53239897
I've done it with an extended stay between two thick textbooks, but it will just warp again unless you use stiff card protectors.
>>53239897
>Double sleeve
>lay it on a text book or similar flat surface
>put at least two large text books on top of it
>wait at least 48 hours

>hi i want to sell this pack foil lotv
>well its super warped and nobody is buying foils so ill give u 30 dollars, best i can do
Is there any vanilla clan in WOD? Most clans have stupid fucking gimmicks I want something more Dracula like.
>>53239209
Don't play oWoD.
>>53239209
>I want something more Dracula like
Which Dracula? The original novel? The latest movie?
>>53239209
You want to make a ventrue,
I require assistance with a problem /Gnoll/
I've recently gotten a bunch of slaves but they fight back to much.
I've tried beating and killing them but that makes them try and escape.
Should I just give them drugs?
Feed them a lot of food. A lot of their aggression stems from their ravenous hunger. Satisfy that primal urge, and the aggression should subside some.
>>53239028
Are you sure?
I give them the basics.
Bread cheese meat and wine.
Is that not enough?
More meat, less wine. Gnolls are NOT friendly drunks.
It'll cost a fortune in food, but it mellows them right out. Good thing about it is gnolls don't give 2 shi**s about the quality of the food, so by bulk, and if possible you can buy old spoiled meat on the cheep. Hell, they prefer it a little rotten.
What do you think of your players trying to play Kenkus? The inability to actually create speech seems like it could lead to either some great roleplay or a colossal headache for everyone involved.
I've played a Kenku for a brief time, and one of the easiest ways to pull it off is to have their backstory be they come from a major city, and then when the character speaks they can say different sentences or phrases with different tones or accents.
>>53238408
>inability to actually create speech
thanks 5e, for being retarded
>>53238408
It's very fun, and not much of a headache with players that can confidently communicate through inference.
I recently got the idea to make a PnP out of tf2. I found an archived thread with some cool ideas and this picture. Any idea where this is from? What this means? The little radial symbol and the turnaround symbol are confusing me and I can't tell if it's supposed to be roll over or under.
My idea for scatter weapons and radial damage weapons like rocket launcher is to roll 3d6 and do listed damage on a roll of 9-12 and do one damage less per number ether side of that. Damage can also be modified based on range like how a shotgun does more damage close up.
>>53237862
What is this?
Why not just have the health, movement and damage values takes directly from the game?
>>53238041
The cards are also extremely busy and hard to follow
Hey /tg/ How do you feel about fantasy tattoos IRL? Things like Lovecraftian sigils or pulpy wizard designs that look like they belong on some stoner's van in the 70's. Hell, maybe even clockwork automaton pieces well inked into the skin! Drop your fantasy tat designs and come talk shop! pic related.
