How deep in the D&D hole are you if you start mentally sorting real human beings into an alignment chart?
it's like you time warped back to the early 2000s
>>55249927
>Year of our Lord 2000 +17
>Almost 2000 + 18
>Still using alignments for anything ever
>>55249927
You are certainly quite deep in the autism hole, anon. Dunno about DnD.
Why can't you just cast a spell to make you younger and use it again each time you become too old instead of becoming a lich or something?
Even if you must do it every few years, it's not going to get any harder.
>>55249603
Because the process of doing so is not only complex but there is the chance it may not work the exact same way for reasons that require extensive testing.
For example, if you rejuvenate your body with the souls of others how do you ensure that you have the full capacity of the victim's soul? Do you need the soul of a particular person? How do you measure potency and ensure you have the supply you need to do it consistantly? Testing will eventually get you found out by the inqusition.
>>55249603
Or just permanently polymorph yourself into a younger form.

Just play the videogame and buy the models you like online just to have them
>>55252761
But the videogame is totally different from tabletop.
Why the fuck is this 500 dollars.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1834692986/gaddis-gaming-tabletoppertm
It's foam. Am I retarded?
>>55249469
Welcome to kickstarter
>>55249469
Well they made the 15k they wanted. But it is shit.
I really like the design but it's fucking foam and shouldn't cost more than like 100 dollars i feel - if nothing else I'll just build my own I guess.
So I'd like to play a monk, one that doesn't speak too much, save for (mostly) sage advice and zen sayings.
"Remember, a bowl is most useful when it is empty."
Problem is, I can't find any good sources for collected quotes or parables that suit my needs, and I'm definitely not wise or creative enough to think of any on my own. So waddya got, tg? Lay some quippy philosophy on me.
>>55249206
The problem with feigned wisdom is that, well, it's feigned. Roleplaying someone who is exceptionally wise tends to come off as pretentious and trying too hard. Maybe you should consider a monk who has taken a vow of silence.
But if you're determined to play Phorchewn K'khie the Monk, I would recommend looking up Confucian quotes, Taoist quotes, and Zen koans.
"Isn't it a pleasure to study and practice what you have learned? Isn't it also great when friends visit from distant places? If one remains not annoyed when he is not understood by people around him, isn't he a sage?"
"See a person's method, observe his motive, notice his result. How can a person conceal his character?"
"If a man has no humaneness what can his propriety be like? If a man has no humaneness what can his happiness be like?"
"When I walk along with two others, they may serve me as my teachers. I will select their good qualities and follow them, their bad qualities and avoid them."
"Things have their root and their branches. Affairs have their end and their beginning. To know what is first and what is last will lead near to what is taught in the Great Learning."
And so on. But I'd really recommend considering the vow of silence. That sort of constraint can end up being a lot of fun and really add to the campaign in ways that being a walking Wikiquote will not.
>>55249206
wat, are you even trying senpai? like how hard can that be?
g. zen buddhist sayings, zen aphorisms, zen koans. pick a random site from the first page, remember few brief ones, forget them in play, come up with you own terrible gibberish.

>>55249314
Well, he certainly doesn't need to be exceptionally wise. I actually imagined he'd be young and be the first to admit that he has much to learn. But from his time learning from much wiser teachers, he has retained a few things, and offers compact lessons when the memory strikes him.
"No snowflake thinks itself responsible for the avalanche."

Hey I got a question. A question about Ahriman.
For one of the strongest psykers in the universe and being 10,000 years old, how come he seems underwhelming? Everytime I read about him he's always on the brink of collapse, always pushing his last reserves of will and strength to accomplish his goals before he passes out. And he's always TIRED. Why is that? And when he's exploring the warp or doing some ritual there's always an 'oopsie, took it too far need halp plz' moment. For someone who should be badass he just isn't. Even Lucius who is an asshole has the occasional badass moment. Out of the named Chaos Space Marines from the Heresy Ahriman just seems lucky to have made it this far.
Why does every RPG seem to use the typical fighter, mage, and rogue, even if they have some crazy inventive setting?
/tg/, what are some better archetype trinities?

So, Synthwave is to Cyberpunk as Vaporwave is to...
Stalkerpunk.
>>55248495
to Everything is Terrible compilations
>>55248669
how the fuck does that make any sense? Explain yourself.
>>55248495
You got that analogy wrong. Synthwave is just taking cyberpunk's art style and making it more palatable for normalfags, it has no definition beyond that. Vaporwave is a genre of music, in the same sense cyberpunk is a genre of writing.
