Maid RPG. Silly, low-stakes adventures, good for a one-shot, and in my experience randomized (or pre-prepared) characters do a better job of forcing people to roleplay.

If you're looking for specific kinds of games, like historical, horror or scifi-games, games heavy on narrative or simulation, or if you're opposed to levels and classes, you want something that's not D&D.

Not really. I assume most places that hold casual tournaments have their own lists of banned cards or decks. Goats is still a thing and DuelingBook has a dedicated list for it.

Making a list for casual play is kinda hard because people have different ideas on what should and shouldn't be banned.

Often. Mealtimes are one of the best ways to get all the PCs to form up, sit down, and start actually talking rather than just wandering around and doing their own thing.

My characters like to eat seafood, sweet fruits, and rare-cooked red meat, in order of characters I've actually played in /pfg/ games.
