Absences happen, if someone is away for a good reason and tells me in advance, or it's an emergency afterwards, it's all good.

Heck, even if they just fuck up once or twice it's not the biggest deal.

If a player is regularly not attending for no good reason, that isn't a problem you can fix by not giving them as much XP.

That's rough. Do it in the DDS style, where the players ARE the demons- why? Because ordinary SMT combat, where the players are summoners, would be a pain. Can you imagine how long combat would take if every player had 4 minions that could attack each turn?

Sisters are not subject to Astartes, they are part of Ecclesiarchy (specifically raised in response to a decree that forbids conscripting men-at-arms). Gulliman does not have direct command over them, and would antagonize the faction if he went to assert it (that doesn't necessary say he won't do it).
If anything re-arming Space Marines to Primaris will leave more decommissioned Marine gear for Sisters to use.

Let's start with a question.

Can a deamonette be binded permanently to the material world?

Or to let someone be permanently possed by one? The resulting "thing" would be less dangerous then demon host possesed by a powerful deamon, so more controllable and probably more fuckable in the long warp travels.

Make it imperative in your setting that ships travel with some sort of cloaking or coating that precludes windows on space ships most of the time. Find whatever fake science most justifies that, and then they're not in obvious danger aboard a space ship. For hunters, make the techniques that they use to hunt vampires obscure and difficult enough that not just anyone can do it, but don't make it foolproof-- every hunter should be risking their lives with every target

Make the vampires wear some kind of second skin/space suit. There's bound to be plenty of space faring suits and armour available. Plus, you can use this to give your vamps a unique aesthetic/flavour. You could make some spooky looking suits with apparatus to allow vamp to bite even while wearing the suit. Needless and tubing, etc.

That's literally why they eat people. They're cursed to always feel starvation, no matter how much they eat. They're starved to the point of emaciation, their skin barely wrapping around their bones and flesh. Every time they eat a person, they grow in size so that they may never feel full.
