Anyone got any maid CYOA's? Anyone interested in making a maid CYOA?

There's also a trap one but I don't know what it's called
I'd like to see a new one though, it'll be cool
>Still no Angel underwear pics.
How do you make a setting that is made to be light hearted and low violence, low lethality into an interesting tabletop game?
As long as it's relatively low-stakes, you can design something light-hearted and low-violence.
By translating the mundane to extraordinary.
Having exploration, survival, and/or discovery as the overarching theme(s) of your campaign would be a good start. I don't really know what you meant when you said "light hearted", mainly because I don't think you can build an interesting campaign with slice-of-life as the theme; however, you can have light-hearted moments in any campaign if you take the time to set them up--and factor in the people who are playing with you when doing so.
>>53507462
It's going to be about exploration, survival and discovery, it's a bright post-apocalyptic setting, it might get more serious later in the levels, but for the early stages it would be less heavy.

Molthune Knights, because people got genuinely angry at that one.
Shout-out to Iteration Drive for conducting an excquisire bamboozle of HV.

I always hated that nigger during the RotJR recruitment. Guy couldn't stop making shitty fetish fuel characters and then shilling them in the fucking thread all day.
We're fucking back.
Although I'm a little sad we lost Blood Lance, the new Blood Boil is pretty sweet.

No, we aren't. Anyone who says we are is a liar and you should shoot them. We're totally not still around.
This thread is for comparison between miniature games. Warhammer Fantasy vs Sigmarines vs 40k vs infinity vs warmachine vs x-wing vs battletech etc.
Mainly because most threads are related to specific games on /tg/ and not discussing them in a comparative manner. This is great for discussion about specific games but not for discussion on which game to play or get into.
My current question: What is the best fantasy style miniature game? Did Age Of Sigmar stay a pile of shit or is it becoming accepted? Alternatives that are better?
Infinity definitely kicks the shit out of any of the other miniatures games in terms of females and cheesecake. For some reason GW makes their females intentionally horrendous looking.
>>53506106
>Alternatives that are better?
Shitton of small companies, from Scibor to Ragging Heroes.
There is also one UK company making cool monsters and beastmens BaneLegions.
>>53506164
>Infinity definitely kicks the shit out of any of the other miniatures games in terms of models posing
fix
So GW took the idea of Tzeentch from Tash, the evil demon from Chronicles of Narnia, right?
> Tash was roughly humanoid, but much larger than a man, with four arms and the head of a vulture. His presence brought cold and the sickening stench of death.
>>53504206
>Description of form
>In any way like the formless Tzeentch
>>53504246
Which is why he's always a bird, right?
>>53504206
And that was stolen from Egyptian mythology.
Anyways, welcome to Warhammer. Thin your paints and never buy anything from GW except paint and models.

How do you make players feel safe at your table? Do you use X-cards or other tools?
>>53503574
>How do you make players feel safe at your table
I don't. The more unsettled and nervous they are the better.
>X-cards or other tools?
They bring their stuff, they pay for the pizza, I bring the story.
I mean I guess I have a couple sheets of paper and a pen if they really need it...
>>53503557
Just finished playing with a lizardfolk ranger, which let the others in the group begin working with RP and combat better. I burnt out and will be switching characters to my faceless gambler fey warlock of the chain. it breaks so many social encounters i didn't want to bust him out yet but i think they are ready.
literally page 2 OP, we were fine, why are you such a candyass
>people here actually think that they'll be able to push the "3.PF is bad" meme outside of the contrarian cesspit that is 4chan
People are going to enjoy playing that game for years to come thanks to it still being one of the better systems available.
>but muh balance
What it lacks in balance, it makes up for having some of the best material and style, with plenty of great things about it.
>sub-systems for everything from resolving combat in a subjective-gravity plane to getting addicted to drugs
>unsurpassed monster list, including classics like trolls and dragons, bizarre creatures like Raggamoffyns and Hengeyokai, and truly ridiculous ones like the Orcwort
>gigantic spell list, with campaign-defining ones like Stasis Clone to brain-ticklers like Soul's Treasure Lost
>character options that don't just consist of renaming and re-describing a limited set of bland mechanics, like you'll find in many other systems
>mechanics that are actually fun to play with because they have clear and evident impacts on the game
>an item list that makes dungeoneering an extraordinarily rewarding experience
>great settings and adventures, including many of the best from earlier editions of D&D
>great art, and clear and direct language (something that is actually an unfortunate rarity among games)
>easy-to-understand and mathematically-elementary mechanics that are simple to homebrew with and to otherwise adapt, with plenty of advice on how to do so
>versatility as a fantasy kitchen sink, supporting any kind of adventure or idea that involves the word "fantasy"
>the basics can be learned within an hour, but rewards years of continued play with endless discoveries and revelations
>a "you can do anything" attitude, that even if it opened up doors to wide imbalances, never gave a hard "no" to questions like "Can I have centaurs that are half bull rather than half horse?" or "Can wizards use a point system rather than vancian casting?" or "Can martials have maneuvers similar to spells?" or "Can I ride a dragon?" or even "Can I play a dragon?", with mechanical assistance to all of these questions and more
There's plenty of better systems out there, and it's not even my favorite or close to it. But, it's an impressive system, and if you are lucky enough to have a good DM, you're all set for fun and exciting adventures.
>>53503536
>great art
Now this is what I call trying too hard.

First for reasonable Tau. I'm leery of some of the nerfs, BUT I WANT MY RAILSIDES.Actually first for the Dark Eldar and "cultural exchange".
>>53503481
why are fishfags so butthurt
your shit was op and it has been balanced
>>53503510
I haven't seen much butthurt here. I, for one, am very pleased with the changes and look forward to playing on a leveled playing field with other factions. More fun for everyone this way.
So, I know how to Photoshop and have art skills, that's not what this thread is about:
What makes for entertaining (preferably also reusable) RPG battle maps?
What types of features make them interesting?
What makes entertaining combat battle maps if you're going all out with 3d terrain?
>>53502614
if you want reusable i would say make modular dungeon tiles. if you want something that makes it interesting then an isometric battle map might be cool.
>>53502614
Novelty. Novelty. Novelty.
If you're on /tg/, you've probably seen mines and stone keeps hundreds of times, but if you mix it up, like a collapsing bridge, burning mansion, haunted circus, or on the back of a great beast, you're bound to get some interest.
>>53502748
In this case I mean reusable in a "if I use this map more than once in a campaign, for different encounters and different purposes, the players won't necessarily be bored."
>>53502769
>Novelty.
Sure, but what kind of novelty? Just novelty in how the map is skinned? Is a stone keep really that different than a wooden fort?
If you mean in features, what kinds of features and layouts make for interesting combat? Could we make a list? How many of those things should go into a given map?
Is there an Arcanum tabletop? Or anything similar?
bump for interest
>>53502535
Deadlands has revolvers, magic, and weird tech.
>>53502535
Wolsung but I heard mixed opinions and I'm not sure if it was translated to English.
Is it monotonous (and unrealistic) when all the kingdoms and republics in a tech 3 continent are fantasy celts?
Who cares? Tell your story
Middle-Earth is mostly based on Germanic culture and folklore but nobody gives a shit because it's a well written setting. As long as the cultures aren't carbon copies you're good. Gauls are not Britons are not Gaels are not Picts are not Celtiberians are not Galatians are not Galicians
>>53502303
Yes.
>>53502303
Nobody cares as Japanese entertainment popularity demonstrate.
