Halp please. I'm looking for an anime that seems similar to paprika. like a male paprika. I think it has to do with a drug addicted artist(painter?) It is very surreal like. I downloaded it some time ago here but never got to watching it. The cover was colorful, it would be like if enter the void was an anime. He might be schizo, or embodies the 'starving artist' type. basically it starts with Lain's classmate, Chisa, jumping off a building, killing herself. The next week, emails get sent to some of Lain's classmates, signed by Chisa. Lain goes home that night and checks her email, to find she has mail from Chisa as well. Chisa explains to Lain that she didn't really kill herself, she just got rid of her physical body so her mind could become part of the Wired (internet). When Lain asks why Chisa wanted to become part of the wired, Chisa responds saying that God exists in the Wired. Lain then asks her dad (a techie) to buy her a new computer, despite her former disinterest in all things tech.
