OP is wrong. This game is good, sure. It's probably the best game Illusion has released since School Mate, but it's not better than School Mate. It takes a while to get a character to fuck even with all the character traits unlocked, there are STILL no fucking threesomes, just like in AA1, and the costume editor is...well practically non-existent. You have 4 outfits to "edit", and that basically comes down to changing the colors on the things and choosing which socks to wear.

That's it. I wonder why it's so fucking difficult for these idiots to just make another School Mate game EXACTLY the same as the first one but with more character editor content? They've yet to make a better one.

Recently installed this game following the HG instructions and getting their recommended patch.

Used Wizzard to uninstall machine translation 0.5 and replaced with 1.2

For some reason, I think it's when i Grumble at someone, their percentage jumps to ~437% and I can't click to further on the text. Anyone seen this problem before?

Also I ramped up the graphics using the nVIDIA control panel, followed the instructions in the pastebin to make the graphics the best.

Well, there's a lot about emergent gameplay, but if you know what you're doing, you can get to sex pretty quick.

I started a new class, first day, walk up to a girl, she's like "I'm horny" and I was like "Hey, follow me into the steam room" and bam. Morning of the first day in class, literally first interaction with this girl, got to sex. It's fun to kind of see what things happen too.

(Also, you can switch the Player character in the morning, so you can get multiple kinds of relationships and interactions without needing to build whole new classes)

What are you looking for? There's some pastebin links in the HG-games general on /vg/ which cover most of the basic shit (and also have links to various translation patches, which is pretty important), but most stuff is easy to figure out through trial and error.

Though, part of it depends on how tough you make shit for yourself.

Yeah, the game hasn't been out long enough to nail that down, people are still working out exactly what all the traits do.

At some stage, someone will crack the game's save files (and probably build a save editor, like there is for the first AA), but that's a ways off, I would think. The game isn't even completely translated. Right now most shit is trial-and-error and anecdotal observation.

So for some reason, I kept the patch exe after I used it. No idea if this version is current anymore, but it should be enough to get you started. I know I haven't used anything from HF since.

The mod comes with 2 versions, 1 with outline and 1 without outline.
The one with Outline looks better ingame but has issues with a few poses. It's up to you what version you want to decide for.
Only Install one version.

Also, be sure that the active girl is not in the nude state, she can be what she wants to be, (except the nude state), as the Dong Dong in the Nude State doesn't have any Bones.

Installation:
1: Simply select wich Pack you want to use and install it with the Illusion Wizzard. Only Install ONE Version, either with Outline or without, not both else files will be overwritten.
2: Have fun.

I can't seem to install the mod. I followed all the directions from the wiki, but clicking the mod in the Wizzard gives an unhandled exception and trying to apply it tells me the game isn't installed correctly. (I downloaded a profile for AA2 and specified the proper directory and .exe)

Make sure all the game paths points to the right folder in the Illusion Wizzard, It could also be the fact that you run an outdated .Net framework for windows.

.NET Framework is up to date. The "AA2_PLAY folder" should be illusion\AA2 and the "AA2_MAKE folder" should be illusion\AA2Edit, correct?

Depends on where you installed your game, but it sounds about right.

I guess you could try installing the HF patch and check the regestry fix [you dont really have to istall any other feature unless you want to.]

I personally can't figure out how to install ear and other mods aside from hair and eyes.
