It's best to wait for the first file to take effect before moving on. It should get easier and easier to pick up the next file, as you progress.

The thing is, trance is a skill. You need to learn how to trance, and key elements in that is trust and safety. Also, you may occasionally be told to do something where you are unsure how to interpret the instruction, which can also really take you out of it - and it's much easier to get past that if you are used to the file, and have gotten idea of what is meant.

It can take time. Some learn quick, others will see little progress. It's important to stick at it, with a good and skilled domme, and to not get frustrated even if it seems like nothing is working. You need patience and a calm mind, not intense focus and nervousness as to whether you are doing the right thing, going in to trance quick enough, etc.

As IV said in one file: You simply do not have to try.


The thing is, a file can never match up to a live hypnosis session. A file can't adjust on the fly, or respond to how you are responding. Consequently, a lot more of the work is on you. Mall hypnosis is self hypnosis - but with a file you have a guide, a teacher, that can't adjust, cannot be flexible.

Here's a crude example. It's worth to remember that many recordings are not based on gender and anyone can listen to them, but there are some that specify what gender is supposed to listen, and some come in two versions.

I actually disagree with this. When I was learning to trance, it was using a variety of files that kept me engaged and interested. Using one file over and over again would have been a terrible grind. As someone new to trance, I agree with this completely. For me, the most influencing hypnotists are just those people whose voices I find to be the most soothing, sensual and intoxicating.
