The Great Courses is the brand applied by The Teaching Company, a Chantilly, Virginia company, to its recordings of lectures by university professors and high-school teachers. It sells the courses in CD, MP3, DVD, and MPEG-4 download and streaming formats.

Yes, but I still prefer having it as a torrent. Khanacademy is an example: the downloads there have random filenames.
I started making a torrent from the calculus videos with proper filenames. And yes, it takes time to download, renaming all the 385 videos they have now in that section.
I'm sure that there will be more than 1 downloader when i post it here.

Stanford's youtube channel usually have subtitles, but with awful timings. And not just like +1 sec everywhere, so you have to fix them by hand.

Some of the old MIT's OpenCourseWare videos suffer from audio noise...

Udacity have payed courses too, some of them are terrible, some of them are awesome. These torrents make sure you dont throw hundreds of dollars out of the window.

TTC courses: I have to enlighten you, but not every library have them outside the US. Not to mension that DVD readers are usually slow, bulky, loud, and you dont have it in your phone.

I have not done any math since 2010 and decided I wanted to get into community college this spring term. I did terrible on the placement test. I was also a bit late for classes and only crappy ones were left. Will study these to get a better score on the placement test on fall term.

If you go to the website - not the YouTube channel, but khanacademy.com - go to the math section and make an account, you can take a quick assessment, and the site will automatically set up a course for whatever sort of math you want to study, that's tailored to you. It's gotten a lot better.
