The amateur looking videos fit Youtube 2009 because the amateur looking videos were on Youtube in 2009. When he saw the response (and realized how much time he put into it), he took most of it down and started selling the DVD series--by the time I got to the last lesson on the human skull, he'd taken down the rest. I think I saw a bunch of really short 'demo' videos from throughout at one point, when looking for the skull lessons.

Anyways, the guy is exciting as a bag of dirt but is really great at breaking things down in a way that it's super-easy to understand, so they're super effective anyways.

Watched a bunch so far.
I don't really like drawing men bodies but I have pleasure drawing with his advices. That guy has undeniable skills.
The anatomy parts are quite fun, reminding of med school.

Anyway, as usual some morons thinking they can do all better than anybody, can't do shit about those.

Yes he's slow sometimes because he takes time to explain. And actually when he draws bones and muscles insertions, I'm not sure "slow" is the word.

Am I missing something here? Downloaded the entire set and deleted it a few hours after - maybe it was just the videos I checked out, but the tutorials seemed long-winded and the end results were often off-balance and had proportional issues.

If you're starting out, I think you'd benefit far more by beginning with Loomis or Proko and ease into Bridgeman.
