Basically I've lost £5k since Christmas and I'm still really tempting to try to gamble to win it back.
"But people have feelings and words on a screen do affect people, so maybe next time think before you hit the enter key."
Wow, really wise words here from mackers. Words many of you could heed.
James Mckeown Been having a very hard think recently about gambling etc and where I want to be in 5 or even 10 years time. Have an announcement coming up so stay tuned everyone

What could it be lids?
Imagine going to this much effort to make up a fake post
Pathetic, get a life you sad little man.
Conley will slow Lilliard down, Portland's bigs are terrible and if Gasol Plays they have no one who can guard the Gasol/Conley Pnr.
The odds are a tad off as Memphis started the year slow but are 9/2 in their last 11, Portland better than expected but have had an easy schedule to date but get demolished by any team with good rebounding.
If we report people like this will the mods take action and ban them? I mean its just annoying seeing fake shit posted all the time even though it doesn't technically break any rules.
Pmsl alright Dr. Watson, imagine getting so riled up by some pixels on a chinese cartoon imageboard you rush to your computer screen to take a screenshot and post in defence of someone you'll never speak to.
Oh wait you haven't received a noti in a few hours so you can't have any mates haha. Explains a lot pmsl
>tfw up €15 from a €5 bet on sunday night, shitting my pants at the prospect of losing any profit
fucking henrik tricking me into a medium once again @1,97
Its a 10 point lead in the first, they are a completely garbage team. Their other lines are garbage, the first is all they have.
They threw away a 23 point lead over the bulls the other night and the clippers are better than them. I put it in because they are garbage and -2 is pretty much a given.
Hornets are -5000 to +800 for bulls.
I fucking hate Bodog.
I was before I realised Rose is out. Counting that 5er as lost now
I was just talking about the 76ers, not criticizing your accumulator. Though it is pretty dumb
crisp fiver to anyone who can correctly guess the day my old 365 got limited and the day I got a new
365 and Mara.
Not going by my records. Maybe didnt mention it here on the same day it happened.
If you win money on games they dont want you betting on and it is clear they arent going to get the money back from you losing. They dont care if you are winning a few bets on Arsenal and Real Madrid but they do care if you are staking and winning hundreds on Finnish Cup and Gibraltar Reserves. They can also limit you on even if your bet loses if it was a game that raised a red flag (eg, tipped large in PGA). The only way around it is to get family and friends to open accounts for you to use.
Does anyone know if fonbet paid out on the U17 game that was tipped in PGA and posted here the other day?
How to I make a good looking graph like that euan lid
Getting desperate here lids
I'm down quite a large amount this year and really don't trust my own judgement any more. What tipping groups/tipsters can I follow to gain a steady profit regardless and recoup losses?
I already had a look but most of it seems like shite that will get smashed in Asia if there is a bet. In uni all day tomorrow so no point me spending too long on it because I will hardly can make a bet. Going to be /uplatewanking/ soon.
Anybody experienced with arbitrage/surebets? I'm trying to figure out the best way to track odds movements to find them, but it seems like the best way to do that is to keep watching bookies for hours a day.
hornets are a sleeper in the east, beat the cavs (albeit that was more about cavs imploding), wizards (despite blowing a big lead), went close with the heat
no jimmy or rose means they have literally 0 scorers
on a side note,
I guess if making money is dumb.
Bulls lost and hawks are up by 7 in the final with 9 mins left, rated -5000.
I don't know why I still bet on their games honestly, last year they were like a 1.005 to win the series vs the nets (the fucking nets of all teams), but took 6 games
expecting disappointment again today
The cavs loss wasn't that bad to me since they've had huge leads and second half collapses, so I hedged on that one. But the hawks is fucking awful, they were down 14 the game before today, tie it at 94 but give up a buzzer beater while today they were up by 18 in the third but still managed to lose, which is just baffling.
Nets and nuggets was kind of surprising since I picked nuggets but joe johnson's still got it it seems
>and the odds swings are massive between points.
women get broken all the time and odds raise but that means nothing in women tennis, specially with "low profile" players like this. check it, you will notice how some strange comebacks happen a lot
All to do with the hosts lid. P2P is just so demanding (not to mention expensive)
They're generally getting better but it'll be a long while before streams for every event are how you'd see them on an actual HDTV broadcast.
My friend who is a part-time receptionist at a hotel in spain where they're currently on a boot camp, heard from a colleague that the Stabæk-players got lots of noise-complaints, and when he went up to check on their rooms they were in the middle of a full-fledged orgy with some greasy spaniards. Apparently they missed breakfast as well because they didn't get out of bed before 10. Not to mention their main striker injured her hand last week while knitting gloves for her sisters newborn baby and as a result is playing with great pains.
Absolutely clueless if you got on this desu
Rebacking -2 for the second half
Pmsl some great bets in asia tonight and mackers is down a special
Just memeing lid, it was actually pretty close and they should have covered it until they got the red and then played rush keeper rest of the game. Should have been 4-3 instead of 6-2 but should make for better future lines.
I tipped overs
Don't know why they made Uruguay favorite, literally 4 goals from fk/pk. I mean they can win, and they need to win, but Chile dc is generous
Venezuela sw is good
Colombia sw I'd go large and -1.5 small. Depends on the inplay, I'll keep informed
I might put some money down on the penalties
>Jordet, G., Hartman, E., Visscher, C. and Lemmink, K. A. P. M. (2006) Kicks from the penalty mark in soccer: The roles of stress, skill, and fatigue for kick outcomes. Journal of Sports Sciences, 1-9.
>reports some empirical findings on events in penalty shoot-outs in the World Cup (WC), European Championships (EC) and the Copa America (CA). The results are fascinating; here is a glimpse. The percentage success rate in the World Cup is 71.2% compared to 82.7% (CA) and 84.6% (EC), possibly reflecting the greater importance and consequent pressure of the world stage. The success rate of each penalty kick changes throughout the competition:
>First kick 86.6%
>Second kick 81.7%
>Third kick 79.3%
>Fourth kick 72.5%
>Fifth kick 80%
>‘Sudden death’ kicks 64.3%
These results highlight the increasing pressure as the competition progresses and may also highlight the ‘best player should go first’ fallacy.
Dallas seems a pretty good bet.
The Jazz have won a lot of games but besides Bulls (which are very weak this year), all the games have been with very poor sides.
Dallas are playing in their home and are a objectively better team. Anything can happen, but @1.85, I think is a pretty good bet.
