Now that the dust has settled, I can honestly say this was one of the worst Superbowls I've ever seen.
-No energy at all from the players or fans.
-The players were sloppy at best, and when they weren't being sloppy, it was very boring.
- The ads seemed uninspired and of course, most were just for fucking cars.
-The half time show seemed like it was pre-recorded and it still had very little energy. Coldplay seemed bored, Beyonce tried too hard, and Bruno was meh. It too seemed short and overall forgettable. Oh and I loved the SJW bullcrap.
- The refs seemed one sided, and that didn't help at all.
-The end of the game was anti-climactic and just fucking dragged on and on.
In all honesty, I feel like I just wasted my time, and for a "50th superbowl" it sure was very forgettable. The only thing that was decent was Lady Gaga singing the anthem and thats really scraping from the bottom of the barrel.
3/10 Experience "If you're going to fix a game, at least make it entertaining."
>not being married to your girlfriend when having a kid
>bringing a child into the world to witness you lose a super bowl
>having your child not respect you at less than 3 months old
Pretty pathetic. Cam Newton seems like a cuck.
There was at least 3 taunting/unnecessary roughness calls, not to mention numerous celebrations after big hits and TD's. So this is wrong
This was one of the best defensive games in a long time. Denver's defense almost played a perfect game. The sloppiness on Carolina's offense came from the sheer amount of pressure Denver's front seven was able to get on Cam
It's generally a shit show because there trying to keep the women interested
Carolina had 12 penalties, Denver had 6, Carolina had at least 4 false starts which is an easy call, 1 blatant PI, a clear unsportsman like and a taunting. It wasn't one sided at all
Not every super bowl has an amazing ending. The entire game was an incredibly well played defensive game by Denver
It won't be forgettable strictly because of Peyton Manning
>No energy at all from the players or fans.
>The players were sloppy at best, and when they weren't being sloppy, it was very boring.
Did you not watch the defences?
>The ads seemed uninspired and of course, most were just for fucking cars.
>The half time show seemed like it was pre-recorded and it still had very little energy. Coldplay seemed bored, Beyonce tried too hard, and Bruno was meh. It too seemed short and overall forgettable. Oh and I loved the SJW bullcrap.

fucking wew lad
>The end of the game was anti-climactic and just fucking dragged on and on.
Did you not watch owl XLVIII?
Goddamn americans keeping me up till 4am to watch an absolutely shit game.
>no energy from the players or fans
confirmed for cucked out of the owl
gl next year ca-na-dah
I kinda agreed, but then I thought about it. Now I changed my mind. What you really saw was defensive domination. There were few big plays. There were few huge jukes. There were few examples of the amazing Carolina offense. That's all because the defenses were passioned and intense, and that was simply shadowed over by Cam being tired out by the broncos. The defenses were amazing today.
And the halftime show was very good, even if coldplay is meh.
The adds sucked though.
There was 8 fucking turnovers and it was a close game most of the time.
what the fuck are people going on about?
why are you even watching commercials/halftime show? mute that shit until the game comes on
Outside of two good plays by Von Chimper, it was mostly dropped passes, punts, false starts, and stalled drives from horrific playcalling.
Both teams felt like they were choking and playing conservative football. Also, that Andy Reid tier clock management.
In terms of technical play, this super bowl was beautiful. It was absolutely dictated by two of the best defenses in the league, and it was decided between a contest of youth and optimism vs age and experience.
This. There were a LOT of missed plays from both offenses. Not meaning to discredit the defense, but man.
Also what was with the shitty turf? Couldn't believe how many people were slipping despite the weather being so clear there.
>reputable organization FIFA
>implying anyone remembers who won the last one
>in Murka, soccer is relegated to moms and betas while every dad pushes his alpha into football or hockey
I can't put my finger on it but this game never really felt like the superbowl for some reason.. usually right from the start there's a sense of tension and excitement and hell things just look different on the field somehow.. this just looked and felt like just another game
End of story. The Broncos defense manhandled Carolina in a way I didn't expect. Controlled the line of scrimmage from the first play and Newton hardly had anyone to throw to.
One of the better defensive performances I've seen in a Super Bowl.
I thought the same thing and attributed it mostly the fact that half of it was played in the middle of broad daylight and the fact that there was close to no atmosphere from the crowd most of the game.
Even the halftime show sucked.
Coldplay was underwhelming.
The ads weren't good. Puppymonkeybaby seemed so forced.
The game didn't feel like a championship.
So many punts...No gutsy playcalls...
There were a couple good defensive plays, but that was it.
AND WHY THE FUCK CAN'T AN NFL REFEREE MAKE A GOOD REPLAY DECISION FOR FUCKING ONCE?????
GOD DAMN IT
Exactly. Score doesn't tell the whole story of how well both defenses played. I think the Broncos now have the record for fewest yards gained by a Super Bowl winner and that's due in large part to the Panthers defense playing rock solid all game long.
Unfortunately for them, due in large part to turnovers by the Carolina offense, they constantly had awful field position. The fact they were able to keep Denver to one offensive touchdown is incredible.
We saw two uninspired offensive performances, yes, bu we also saw two excellent defenses play.
>Now that the dust has settled, I can honestly say this was one of the worst Superbowls I've ever seen.
It was like like a Week 2 game.
Made me appreciate the fucking Seahawks; hate them or like them, theyre exciting.
This was a fucking snoozefest.
>There was at least 3 taunting/unnecessary roughness calls, not to mention numerous celebrations after big hits and TD's.
mfw you're equating this with energy
>Not mentioning shitty offence
>Not mentioning the bad replay decision with the incomplete pass which set up a bogus defensive touchdown for Denver and changed the dynamic of the entire game from that point on
>Not mentioning there was never a fake called
>The most excitement was from a fat ass Tolbert dropping the ball
Nah your wrong
Carolina's defence was great too.
The only difference was Cam Newton had no touch throwing the ball and the referees made a bad call in the 1st quarter to set up a defensive touchdown for Denver which changed the dynamic of the game.
Defense was great for both teams.
Hell, them coming back with 24 unanswered points to their loss at Carolina makes me think Panthers better evaluate that team and how you try to battle back.
>Game is out of reach
>Fuck it, let's try it anyway
I really really hope there's no peyton ass kissing. This was pretty much all Denver's defense.
>It rolls around in his hands as he hits the ground.
That doesn't matter. The ball didn't touch the ground.
The ball is in his hands as he hits the ground and he controls it.
That is a catch.
>The ball rolls in his hands as he hits the ground, fám
Doesn't fucking matter
Ball never hit the ground and he controlled it.
>Denver defense wins the SB
>"omg guise, isn't Peyton so great?"
>mfw if this happens
>The NFL disagrees with you, sorry.
That referee made a bad call and he will be reprimanded for it.
Show me a similar call to the one we saw today and the NFL saying "that's the right call"
>It looked like the ball hit the ground, but it wasn't 100% obvious
IT WAS 100% OBVIOUS
Look at the replay man.
You can see his fingers cradling the ball
>AND had a good game tonight
Why are you trolling?
-Not even 150 yards
-called audibles like crazy and they weren't productive. One play was a -2 yard rush that he audibled
-Anytime he even felt a defender near him, he fell to the ground so he didn't get hit
He made a bad call on the review
What pisses me off is that bad calls even when there reviewed is fucking CONSTANT in the NFL.
I don't even like the Panthers
I'm just pissed off for watching an underwhelming game.
Peyton wasn't good, but come on get real.
>best receiver doesn't even look like he knows how to play football anymore (Thomas)
>sacked 5 (?) Times
>o line is shit
Peyton worked with what he had, but yeah, definitely not a stellar performance.
What NFL team would never be able to play the super bowl?
that is to say. a team that gets to play the super bowl in its history
