Why is he just so much more likable than Brady, bros?
Srs. I'm honestly not entirely sure myself
career has been less successful and he's nowhere near as good looking so people don't feel as threatened by him
I like him though and hope he wins the owl then retires on a high note
> makes fun of himself
> does goofy commercials where he's in on the joke
> has dorky relationship with his special brother
> dad was the best qb for a shit franchise
> not super athletic almost awkward, easier for casual fans to relate to
> high football IQ gives him ultra elite edge that can't be duplicated with said athletics
honestly if you hate him you probably hate football or are an assravaged obsessed patsfag
jesus christ, do patsfags every not be in denial
brady is a system babby. cassel led that team to 11-5
manning's backups couldn't win more than 2 games. that makes manning more integral to the team, thus making him more respected and likeable
If it was that simple an issue I'd agree, but there are a lot of other factors involved. For one, the 2007/2008 Patriots were stacked. It makes sense that they'd win more games than the 2011 Colts. Secondly, Cassel was a much better QB than Curtis Painter, who was out of the league next year.
Peyton did carry the 2010 Colts to the playoffs, but that doesn't mean he's hasn't had great supporting casts other years.
additionally - Manning won the AFC with Dungy and Caldwell as his head coaches
look at the HCs he's had - Jim Mora, Tony Dungy, Jim Caldwell, John Fox, and Gary Kubiak.
one championship between them
before this season Kubiak was 2-2 in postseason play as a head coach. he took Jim Caldwell to the Super Bowl for Christ's sake
Psure the colts got 12 wins that season. not 10
hes an everyman, seems approachable and normal. sponsors shit like pizza
brady seems like an aloof unapproachable asshole and sponsors shit like ugg boots
people like people the same as them. trump would prefer to hand out with brady, 99 percent of people would prefer to hang out with peyton.
of course he could be a huge dick for all we know and brady could be a bro. but all that matters is how youre marketed/how you portray yourself to the media
Brady has it all, 1) good looks 2) super model wife 3) lives in Mass.
Everybody who lives in Boston is a dooshbag! been there, done th@.
>you'll never fuck jlaw while she's wearing a one piece
Brady is more likable. Only time Peyton has been considered an underdog was this year because he sucked that much.
Peyton and Papa John are fucking faggots and that pizza tastes like shit.
He got that "Aw shucks" thing going on, and his people have been clever at getting him into ads and stuff where he uses self-deprecating humor.
Brady comes across as cold, when he tries to be pleasant and fun it comes across as fake. That makes the cheating tag stick to him easier.
You can easily picture yourself going to war with Brady at your side, grimly mowing down the hun or whoever. You can see yourself grilling burgers and sipping a cold drinkin' beverage with Manning
People in america are retarded bro.
Media says don't like Brady = They don't like Brady
i'm sure brady is eh pretty cool guy behind closed doors. he's just not a media guy, he has boring press conferences and interviews. that's why you don't see him in commercials like manning, it's not because he doesn't want the money it's because he turns to stone when the cameras are on him.
When the fuck did Egghead jr. get likeable? He's a historical whiner, and choke artist. He is in an infinite number of putrid commercials. He's as about as loveable as my fucking left nut. Fuck him, I cant wait for him to go away. And I hope Cam and the Panthers cuck him into Oblivion. By the fucking Nine.
Oh, so you like seeing his face all day err day? Never sold one to me. Why dont you jump on his little white cock while your at it?
Dennis Miller is it really you?
This. Public perception of Brady is largely media driven. They love to shit on him because he doesn't play their game and give them their cute soundbites and oneliners for their clickbait. He just fulfills his media obligations and talks without really saying anything at all. Honestly, I wish he was more like Belichick when dealing with the media.
It's fucking bullshit. The bias is unreal. ESPN doesn't even have a footnote about his HGH investigation. Meanwhile, the NFL leaked to ESPN that 11/12 footballs were under inflated in a bombshell report that was completely false. Just so they could throw Brady to the hounds. He literally had to stand in front of the media and try to answer why the balls were two pounds under when they weren't. They tried to ruin his reputation after 15 years in the NFL.
They would never do this shit to Manning.
Liked Brady till the 07 game against the skins
>4th and goal
> up by 50
> false start, some lineman
> Brady flips a shit and belittles him
> does this every week
The guy is a self centered dick. He's a good qb though
I unno I want to like brady more but he's just unlikeable
I think it's a jealousy factor, well, we're jealous of all athletes and that includes peyton. But for Brady it's even more magnified since he's this really good looking (no homo) alpha male with a super model wife and all the successes in the world. Peyton just looks like your average guy.
I kinda felt the same way. Then read what CJ Anderson had to say about him after the game and how he stuck up for Manning on the HGH stuff. So now I'm more of a Brady fan. Of course it's easier after your team just beat him in a playoff game. Lets face it, the reason most football fans don't like Tom Brady is because he doesn't play for our team and we're sick of him handing us our ass on gameday.
What does two teams mean? Why didn't he go MORE OFTEN with either team?
Everyone played by teh same rules. Spy Gate was retardedly dumb.
Best QB in Era, compared only to Joe. PeyPey ain't compared even to Brady.
All teams use a system. All QBs rely on that system No one just lets shit happen, retarded argument, just regurgitating spee nonsense
No idea what underdog refers to, brady and Peypey have been underdogs to eachother and others. What's your stupid point here?
Brady's career is like something you will see in a cliche sports film.
> Brady was seventh on the depth chart when he first got to Michigan
>Climbed the depth chart and became back up until his junior year when he became starter
>Coach kept sucking Drew Henson's cock and forced Brady to split playing time with him his senior year
>Eventually the coach gives him full control and he leads them to a win in the orange bowl
>Not considered a good prospect coming out of college
>One of the worst combines ever
>drafted 199 in the 6th round
>4th string qb in camp
>ends up being the backup
>In his second year drew gets injured
>Develops a rivalry with the best qb in the league
>Tom leads the team to a super bowl victory and a dynasty is born
>No longer the underdog Brady dominates the league
>18-1, defeated by his rival's brother
>Brady humiliated falls from grace
.>Season ending injury next year
>A few years later makes it back to the owl but is once again defeated by Eli
>A few years later makes it to the owl
>Leads the largest comeback in the super bowl history but then...
>comes back and btfo of the nfl in court
Wonder what will happen next season.
Is it that Parm is so likable, or that the Dark Lord is so unlikable?
1. A sense of humor.
2. We've been watching him since he was in Tennessee, maybe even before that.
3. Most of you are too young to even know who Archie Manning is. Ask your dad about Archie, dude was a legend.
4. Isn't a smug shit.
I could go on, but you just know that Manning is the more relaxed, fun guy to be around and Brady is just kind of this weirdo spoiled kid.
>Comes from a star studded family of football players, high draft pick, good college career, surrounded by great players all his pro career
>Humble and not spoiled
>His father wasn't a great QB. He went late in the draft after getting shit on in College. He worked hard every single day. Works his way to a starting position and has to deal with a constantly revolving cast of recievers to deal with, but somehow makes them great. The one season he has a HoF reciever he goes 18-1 and gets unanimous MVP.
>Drags team to AFCCG when all players are injured in 2013. Does virtually the same this season, but with virtually no O-line either
>Spoiled and arrogant
>she was examining Manning to see why Manning was having pain in one of his feet and was crouched behind him when “entirely unprovoked, Peyton Manning decided to pull down his shorts and sit on Dr. Naughright’s head and face.”
>As Naughright described it in a deposition entered into the court record: “It was the gluteus maximus, the rectum, the testicles and the area in between the testicles. And all that was on my face when I pushed him up. … To get leverage, I took my head out to push him up and off.”
He doesn't, when he fucks up he doesn't even remotely pretend it's anyone else's fault than his
No surprise that he fucks up less than the noname literal whos he has to play Oline and WR
>Why is he just so much more likable than Brady, bros?
That's not exactly setting the bar high, is it?
Regardless, Peyton has that friendly neighbor charm about him that appeals to just about anybody who isn't a fuckboi.
>average to below average looking guy
>works extremely hard
>endearing southern accent
>extremely loyal inside the nfl and out
>from football background with popular father
>funny from time to time
>good player but not TOO successful
it's really no secret that he's popular
he's a slightly less fun brett favre
