no we just have crazy strict financial rules. You really notice it in Football Manager (the game) for instance. From day one teams will start buying crazy amounts of brazilians and argentinians because they're so healthy financially. There is a minimum wage for non-EU players which is about 100K per month or so, but that's the only rule. The eredivisie was always a very well regulated and comfy league with great facilities, that's why a lot of non Dutch players used to come to the Netherlands to develop. I guess the standard is rising across the board so there isn't really a direct need to come here anymore. There are plenty of decent players here though which will make an attractive move to a bigger league. That Norwegian Henriksen lad from AZ for instance. But no real Zlatans or Suarezes
