I have family that lives in Denver so I was rooting for the Broncos, but after watching Newton Blacked the Cardinals, I think the Patriots with Brady would of been more memorable matchup. I live in Rhode Island, here's the problem.

Every Boston team has been good during 20 somethings lifetime. The Sox won what, 3 world series? The Bruins won the cup, the Celtics won the championship, and the Pats have been dominant. NE Sports fans forgot what it's like to lose, so whenever it happens they don't know how to deal with it so they always blame something other than their team.

I've been a hockey fan all my life. After the lockout I used to get made fun of for liking hockey. Then in 2010 and 2011 I see all these people who made fun of me for liking hockey posting "LETS GO BRUINS!" or "bruins <3" on social media. So once the Pats go on a decent year to year streak of not making the playoffs (all dynasties come to an end), there will be many less Pats fans. I don't even mean if the pats become a 2-14 team (you have every right to not be super into your team if they're that god awful), but when they become an 8-8 team year after year, they'll start blacking out games in New England.
