The AFC championship is going to be more entertaining than the Super Bowl.
False, the Broncos are a fraud. They barely beat a Patriots team earlier in the year that was decimated by key injuries, and even then it took overtime.
AFCCG will be a blowout. Cap it.
But you fail to remember! A whole ton of the Broncos defense was missing and Emmanual Sanders didn't play and they were using a backup qb and still shut down Gronk after the first quarter and pressured Brady the whole game.
I can't believe you guys still do this shit with Denver.
This has been going on since Packers were supposed to rape them way back when and they blew them out. And how the Pats were going to win, and how the Bengals were going to win, etc.
They don't meme it up on offense so you stat babbies don't see them as a threat.
If this were in Foxboro it'd be one thing, but I don't know how Patsfags still weren't the least bit worried they fucked up with the 1 seed.
I say this as someone who really, really hates the Patriots and wants them to lose...but I suspect it won't be very interesting and we're going to watch the Broncos struggle to score 12 points.
>It's another Bet Against The Broncos At Home episode
>It's a "Somehow a game 3 years ago factors into a present day game scenario"
Idk man it just seems like the Pats this time around are outmatched with Denvers team being healthy and I think all the Defensive starters are playing this time around and Sanders will be on the field as well and healthy. I mean yea the Pats have their WRs back but it won't really make a difference because Demvers corners are elite as fuck.i honesty tho even the backup corners Webster and Roby can handle those guys.
It's easy to shut down Gronk when he's the only uninjured player Brady can count on.
Everyone wearing a Broncos jersey on Sunday is getting personally gangraped by Brady Edelman and Gronk
>Implying this won't be the reason the Broncos win
>ITT: Guys who talk like Sanders is Edelman or Gronk
>ITT: guys who are forgetting noodle arm Manning is throwing the ball
Biggest question in this game is when does Manning get pulled.
You fags forget its Brock Lobster who was slinging the ball. That'll be the biggest factor. BB won't let them run and will challenge Manning into throwing it. BB will pull the same defensive scheme Chiefs did the 2nd time in Mile High. Its gonna be a joke. I hope Manning ordered express shipping on that HGH order.
I just said I think your starting wide receivers aren't going to be any harder to shut down than the backups for Talib and Harris. Those two corners can probably handle anyone in the NFL short of Dez Bryant and Antonino Brown. He won't be able to throw to them reliably no matter which WRs start for the pats.
Sanders is one of most consistent guys on the Demver squad and is one of the main reasons the pats lost to the Broncos. He had one bad game against the steelers and now you assume he can't catch the ball anymore. He dropped like one catchable pass?
The Patriots scored 24 points with the practice squad.
The team went from losing to the Jets and Lelphins to cruising through the Chiefs.
It's night and day what Amendola, Edelman, and a mediocre (as opposed to terrible) offensive line does for the Patriots.
That's because he doesn't get a million targets like Edleman. I promise you most of any coach in the NFL could have either of the two for free besids bill they'd all choose Sanders and hell maybe even bill.
That's because Sanders doesn't get a million targets like Edleman if you offered to give one of the two to any coach for free I guarantee they would all take Sanders besides Bill and hell maybe even him.
yeah and manning will get fucking sacked and turn it over on downs, or alternatively intercepted
manning isn't shit this year. You're hitching your wagon to a fucking loser.
Nothing entertaining about two meme teams going at it.
Watch" I really do hate auto correct with all of my heart.
Emmanuel Sanders was incredibly clutch last season and has been pretty good this year too but with Peyton's reduced accuracy and arm strength he's thrown a lot of floaters that have left all his receivers vulnerable. Sanders got concussed last year, probably twice, and once more this year on top of a number of other big hits. He still goes all out for the majority of plays but I think it's taken away his fearlessness just a tiny bit.
Demaryius is a bit of a head case since his new contract and bad playoff game last year, we'll see if he gets back to dominating defenders like he can do.
From an interest point about the QB's in maybe their final battle for legacy, yes. In terms of quality football, no.
This does really feel like the final meeting at the end of an action movie between the two main characters of the last 15 years though.
It's literally a fucking stadium you stupid shit. There are no magical voodoo properties that make it impossible to win in.
People keep posting dumb irrelevant garbage like Manning's record vs. Brady, Brady's record in Mile High, Peyton's record in the playoffs etc... Nothing else matters on Sunday except the Broncos vs. the Patriots and a MARGINAL home field advantage. You guys are taking the same bullshit that marketers and sportscasters peddle to fill airtime and using it to try and make a legitimate argument about which team is stronger.
Yea because Edleman and AD are going to make a difference and save the day right? Those guys are going to shut some of the best corners in the nfl down and denver wont be able to "double" team Gronk. Im sure Brady is going ti be fine even though last time he was pressured into throwing bad passes and that was without ware and a bunch of other defensive starters playing.
>Yea because Edleman and AD are going to make a difference
...yea, they are. Did you watch the Chiefs game?
Edelman is 50% of the offense. Regardless, most of Denver's yardage was through the run game, which won't be nearly as effective against NE's healthy linebackers. I don't want NE to win but if you don't think they're favored this game you're fucking delusional
implying the chiefs corners could cover as well as denvers which in turn makes Brady hold the ball longer which makes him more vulnerable to the pass rush. Hes not going to be able to get the ball out as quick with Talib and Harris covering those guys and now he has the added threat of Ware to worry about on top of Miller.
Devers recievers and the patriots cornerbacks are a huge mismatch. The snow saved you from getting blown out in the last meeting. Slippery balls and tons of wide open dropped passes.
Malcolm butler is for real, logan ryan I am not convinced about, and i think the fact that we have a very underrated players at safety (Jamie harmon, and Devin Mcourty) help him a lot.
>Devers recievers and the patriots cornerbacks are a huge mismatch
According to what, your ass? NE has two top ranked corners and one of the best safeties in the league.
How the fuck is McCourty underrated?
>delusional buncos fans
Did you forget who your quarterback is? Or are your receivers catching perfectly thrown balls every time?
Implying Peyton wasnt accurate and looking good in his last game. Its the receiving core which is why I said if they start making these wide open catches and extending drives Tom can end up getting Rodgered.
>67.9 QBR this season
you're setting yourself up for heartbreak kiddo
Why are you incapable of forming a coherent argument without shitposting?
>yfw Brady has thrown more touchdown passes in Dever than Manning this season
He didn't look good last game. He was throwing ducks all day vs a bottom 3 secondary in the league and everyone is conveniently forgetting that Peyton threw the ball right to Gay on that final TD drive and that would've been a game losing pick had Sanders not turned into an elite CB for 1 play
Statistically, the AFCE was one of the hardest divisions in football this year - tied with the NFCS for most wins. In addition to those six games, they also played four eventual playoff teams.
A similar Patriots team put up 28 points against the best defense (including pass rush and secondary) in the NFL last year to win the Superbowl. I know you probably weren't watching football back then, but try to keep up. Your secondary isn't going to shut down shit
If we want to evaluate individual play, it should be counted as a pick. It's not like the DB almost had it, he caught it and Sanders knocked it out. It not being a pick had nothing to do with Peyton
This game is going to go one of two ways
1. Close game but broncos defense pulls through and gets the win.
2.Brady and company gets complety shut down the the Denver D.
3. Broncos receivers drop 9+ passes and lose a close game.
>Close game but broncos defense pulls through and gets the win
>Brady and company gets complety shut down the the Denver D
>mfw this is literally what 12s said last year before the owl
>Not every ball that touches a receivers/DBs hand is a drop.
those were right on the money tho. good luck with those broncos cb making those kinds of mistakes
how aren't they?
Hopefully as many as he did last week. Im worried about Bradys safety more than anything at this point with the return of Ware. You did see what happened in the last meeting even without him.
>one guy is the whole secondary and linebacker corp
>rather take my chances against the top unit in football made up of veterans than against a rookie
we'll just have to wait and see i guess
Broncofags, who do you root for in the Owl if the Broncos lose?
Patsfags, who do you root for if the Pats lose?
Broncofag here, I will probably root for the Patriots because I like brady desu. Would rather the Broncos win though obviously
The Pats let Denver win that regular season game in order to dissect their game when they play at their best. The Buncos still haven't seen New England with the dialed up intensity they bring in the playoffs. The Pats will control the game from start to finish. Even at points that the score might be close, things won't be. There is no way Denver wins. You can cap this.
Aiming directly and purpousefully for Gronk's knees, especially after all the injuries he's sustained to them, IS rather dirty. It would be like trying to intentionally take Manning's head off specifically to re-aggravate his neck injury
Because everyone will chimp out going you mad a black guy won the owl. Before the months of shitposting start I'll just point out it is not even the first time this happened and we don't care if he is black Steven A, we care that he takes forever to stop celebrating and gives balls away just to improve pr.
I did and KC forgot that to get tom to hold the ball they need to play man not zone. Seriously man and double gronk and they are good. Drop in zone or get blitz happy and they are fucked.
>Denver fans think their shitty corners can "shut down" our receivers
There isn't a single corner in the game of football who can shut down Edelman, and together with Gronk they're unstoppable
You niggas fail to realize we DIDN"T HAVE OUR OFFENSE in the matchup earlier in the year and we STILL dominated your asses until our defense started getting injured by your cheap shots too
This game will be straight domination, a straight ass kicking., Broncos will be ded. Believe it.
I hope you guys have a boat. I hear there is going to be some sort of flash flood in Massachusettes this sunday after The Broncos once again shut down the Pats in Denver unless you guys are part of the 96% of them that don't even live there.
the reason the broncos even hanged close was cause the brock doesn't have a noodle arm, not to mention the rookie punt fumble leading to a td
chicken parm can game manager fine, but that won't be enough to keep up with brady and his weapons, and the edelmanlet factor can very well negate the pressure brady felt last time
still my prediction is 27-17 pats
sealed by a peypey choking int in the 4th
11-5 comes from playing at home like 10 times, and they got lucky that one time in Lucas Oil when peypey threw like a bunch of INTs.
It seems so weird that Tagliabue and Goodell always wanted to market the Manning - Brady rivalry, and yet scheduled the vast majority of their matches in Brady's favour.
