What went wrong?
This. This is what went wrong.
and Özil scoring the 8th and pointing his number
You meant the whole team? A bunch of crybabies that play for meme teams?
7-1 was short of what should be. Germans ran up the score on second half.
>brazilians paid to watch that shit
It was a bubble waiting to burst.
Refball against Croatia and Columbia, Neymar losing his spine, Silva picking up a unnesscary yellow despite being their only good CB, David Luiz going a few games without being a huge fuckup for once. Two goals in and they were done. The Germans could of gotten more but I feel like they were warned by Joachim to go easy in the second half. Just in case some favela rats burnt down the stadium.
This is an example of running up a score.
In any scenery we would lose. But what made it an absolute train wreck probably was the absence of Thiago Silva, Daniel Alves and Nerman on that match. The rest of the team just took an increase on an already high pressure over their shoulders with that and dropped the spaghetti all over the place.
was having a shitty day but this really perked me up
Felipão chose to not train because the enemies could discover our tactics (haha), instead, he telled to everyone to just run and do some physio exercises on pool. He treated players like baby and everyone had daily sessions with psychologists. People keep repeating that the cup was already bought and we had already won. Our tactics was totally shit, nobody creating on midfield, fred alone with no connections, full backs acting like wingers.
David Luiz and Fernandinho helped a lot too.
half-true, after the game with Colombia he gave the players a day off for recovery, then trained with a different formation than what he intended (no Bernard for instance) for two days in order to "fool" the opponents, and only early in the day of semifinal he put the starting XI to train together. He admitted it in the post-match conference, Dani also told it on an interview last year.
Mesut Ozil missed the chance to make it 8-0 and Brazil went straight down the other end to make it 1-7.
With Nerman = 2-7
With Nerman and Thiago Silva = 2-5
With Neymar, Thiago Silva, Miranda, Marquinhos, Dani Alves, Hélton/Diego Alves, Leiva, Coutinho, Lucas Moura, Rafinha and Luiz Gustavo; without Davirgin Luiz, Dante, Maicon, Ramíres, Paulinho, Bernard, Fred, Júlio César and Fernandinho = 3-4
Actually not fucking up on allowing Diego Costa to play for Spain; With Neymar, Thiago Silva, Miranda, Marquinhos, Dani Alves, Hélton/Diego Alves, Leiva, Coutinho, Lucas Moura, Rafinha and Luiz Gustavo; without Davirgin Luiz, Dante, Maicon, Ramíres, Paulinho, Bernard, Fred, Júlio César and Fernandinho = 4-4
With Poop Guardiolel as manager; actually not fucking up on allowing Diego Costa to play for Spain; With Neymar, Thiago Silva, Miranda, Marquinhos, Dani Alves, Hélton/Diego Alves, Leiva, Coutinho, Lucas Moura, Rafinha and Luiz Gustavo; without Davirgin Luiz, Dante, Maicon, Ramíres, Paulinho, Bernard, Fred, Júlio César and Fernandinho = 5-2
We are busy being happy as the World Champions.
Le midgetman of dribble wasn't really carrying their team at all. They had nothing to "shut down". Mascherano was the key player for them in that tournament.
I wouldn't be so sure m8, it's not like there's not young talents around here, but due to agents and corruption raw talent won't get a player anywhere if he doesn't have any contacts. A few years ago we used to have star players and lots of star players in the making, like, players you'd know with a glance were going to be special. It's not like that anymore. Neymar's been around for a while and there's still no star player material in sight. I don't think corruption will be decreasing anytime soon around here though, so I don't really expect to see a great generation of brazilian players in the future. We'd need a miracle.
Holy shit, this is just painful to watch
I can't help it. It's all know. Sports, women, prolific masturbation and
Brazil played very high, with a backline of good to mediocre defenders that couldn't control the worst of them all(David Luiz). Their midfield play was always kinda sloppy and they missed their best offensive player. Even that doesn't explain the result. They also faced a very good german side that took advantage of the lack of coordination in Brazil's pressing, and took advantage of David Luiz's retardedness. Schensteiger, Kross, Ozil, those are very precise midfield players that will definitely use free space well, and both Muller and Klose are clutch goalscorers. There where like 10 minutes of complete devastation that game, and it was mostly up to Germany taking advantage of Brazil's mistakes. That's when hues got BTFOed. With no injuries, it wouldn't have happened.
its weird that dante and fred got the most criticism and their careers were practically ruined, but david luiz still plays champions league footballs and everyone seems to have forgiven him and looked past how utterly shit he is
Just had two cheese burgers for dinner lads.
a-am I american yet?
Brazil team was mentally exhausted at that point, they had a close call against Chile and they lost Neymar against Colombia, the only reason they passed those rounds was because the others teams choked, Germany was just too much for them they were like "we don't give a fuck about you in your shitty world cup in your shitty country" so the germans just rolled over them.
