There's just one problem with this line of thought. Mignolet was on 60k a week and I'm assuming he got a raise with the new contract, let's say to 80k a week. He will never leave unless his new team will offer him at least equal financial terms and let's be honest, only the lower mid table will want him and they're probably be unwilling to pay him that much.

So he's not good enough to leave for a club that can afford his wage and his too expensive for a club that would want him. He's going to be hard to offload
