Shayne Gostisbehere is back, will he perform after missing a few games from his groin injury?
Rangers Mom Night, will their sons get their shit kicked in?
>HURRicanes have 48 points
>tfw I realized they've played 5 more games than the flyers and are only 3 points ahead
>Rangers trying to make fancy plays at their own blue line
I knew it was coming. Not in the next minute the Flyers will score again and then again to take a two goal lead and that'll be that.
Rangers are the worst team in the NHL. Their 9 game winning streak was pure luck. They will be in 9th place in the east by the end of this month. Offense sucks, defense sucks, goalie sucks. They will not make the playoffs, the team is the purest, smelliest pile of shit to ever hit the ice in the NHL.
There will be no playoffs for NY. Not this year. Given their guaranteed, long term contracts, and lack of future draft picks, this team is in for a long, painful next 5 years...at least. They need to dump Lundquist, NAsh, Staal, Girardi for picks or anything they can get. They are stuck with a bunch of overpaid, over the hill players.
He's being used wrong, but that's besides the point because his value has fallen from what the Rangers paid for him. His half cap hit contract is still attractive to teams, especially at the deadline with so many teams close to the cap, especially if the team trading or him thinks they can re-sign him.
The trade will end up being Yandle and a 2nd for an established (re NHL ready) scoring prospect, and the Rangers will probably have to include someone like Kreider and take back a somewhat shitty contract of a decent established NHLer who can't score.
Team will get shook up no doubt if they keep losing and blowing leads. There are a lot of guys on the team AV doesn't seem to care for anymore. They could dump Hayes too.
Yeah it's kind of shitty how quickly the window closed, but it's clear other teams have adopted similar styles of play and other teams do it better. All these players were clicking 1-2 years ago, maybe they are done.
Nah, they won't dump Kreider. You think that Yandle, Kreider and a 2nd for a forward who can't score with a shitty contract and a prospect? There is no benefit whatsoever to the Rangers in this. Kreider stays unless a good player comes back, he is a fast skater, strong, can hit, and doesn't make much money. Rangers will not take on any contract. IT is the opposite of what they need to do.
An established prospect, not some nobody prospect.
Kreider has no hands though, maybe he's having an off year but he's regressed in the scoring category, he doesn't even really get good chances anymore either.
Will they wait or move him. I don't know. Who cares Rangers win.
And it's not like Krieder has been close on the chances he gets, on opportunities like the one he scored today he's been missing the net entirely or missing the puck.
To be fair the lines have been changing a lot this season so the chemistry just isn't where it has been in the past and that makes a big difference with the style they play
