when did you realize that you weren't gonna make it as a pro athlete and that life wasn't worth living anymore?
When I couldn't hit the ball off the tee in tee-ball, I was about 15 at the time. My dad said fuck this I'm leaving you and your mom, then my mom married a black guy and he told me to always run down to the store to get him a pack of magnums and a forty. I got good at walking but I'm no athlete.
Brother...or "brutha"? b/c I don't have any milato siblings, or maybe I do
He made me watch, while he Leroy, Devante, Desean, Trey, Marcus, Lemarcus, Lemongilo, La Quan, Antwaan, Hakeem, Jamal, Darrell and his brother Daryl, Devon, Demarcus, Lebron, Kobe, and Barrack took turns and my mom took them all at once.
She looked like a circus seal hitting honking the horns.
Why you laugh senpai-sama? It's true. She looked like one of those chickens on a rotisserie just spinning there with a pole in her mouth and ass. BTW I meant to say a circus seal honking the horns, sorry my grammar is bad, Jamarcus tried to teach me while he was giving my mom a hot carl.
Jesus Christ, the sad part is I know a Japanese kid that this happened to more or less, man that is a sad state of affairs right there.
Brother. My dad told that since I was son of a white bitch, I couldn't use nigger words. He use to slap his gigantic black dick into my face and tell him how white people had small dicks like asians.
Why don't you just become a team doctor, team trainer , team nutritionist, Physical Education Teacher, Personal Trainer or work in a Sports League if you love sports so much?
Better yet a become a coach
>got into FC United u-18s
>one of the coaches is a scout for Blackburn who were in the prem at the time
>try extra hard to impress him in training and games
>play shitter than usual
>he puts me in the C team which is basically 1 step away from saying fuck off
>give up and go into uni
>check the first team squadevery now and then to see if anyone from the team made it
>literally no one from our team, they're all working in shitty jobs or doing nothing
how do people like Bendtner ever make it through the youth teams?
Yeah, I gave up b/c I'm 6'7 and still can't dunk or lay-up, so I play on the computer all day and the kids call me Sasquatch b/c I live in a cave.
>have family in Italy
>some of them are associated with Brescia Calcio
>they tell my parents to bring me to Italy to try out with them
>literally beg day after day
>they say it wasn't worth it despite having the money
>tfw was dominating the leagues I was playing in at the time
My dream since I was 8 or 9 was to go to the NBA...and I couldn't make the freshman team in high school
Was by far the best player at the two day tryouts but the coach's son didn't like me
Ended up going into a deep depression as a result, now I'm an enginner, make lots of money but I hate myself for giving up and not fighting
Fuck Coach Ruth tbhfam
>mfw played sports vidya as kid
>mfw always made my guy 18 years old, like id grow up to be
>mfw 18 and not pro athlete
>mfw each year making an 18 year old is a reminder of my failure
i know this feel a little too well
When my parents wouldn't let me play QB in highschool despite all the coaches asking me why I didn't join the team. Tfw now that I've been hitting the gym for 2 years and Im 19 and can throw 70 yard bombs, 50 yards accuracy for nothing.
(Basketball) I had always been the best in my school and was beating men in pickup games when I was 14. I never really "trained", just played a lot of basketball and work on my game. I was 16 and playing for my state allstar team that competes against other state allstars. Also went to a couple camps that were invite only(adidas/nike). I did great at the camps and had coaches from smaller colleges talking to me. Then I played against a team that had Carlos Boozer and Mike Dunleavy on it. Boozer basically played like Kobe Bryant , he played like a shooting guard as opposed to a big man. Dunleavy was tall as fuck and just raining 3's. I couldn't do anything. I told myself I would use my skills to get a scholarship and just focus on school, which I did.
i was an incredible athlete actually. i went into the military after high school. when i came out and was accepted into a private college after i coulda played lacrosse or football for the school if i was motivated enough, but i wasnt. 6ft around 200lb at the time. endurance better than anyone, monster with the weights and a will that doesnt give. we live and learn
considering i could knock out pull ups for 10+ reps with 2-45lb plates and dip 3-45lb for 20+ reps..my dead lift was easily in the upper 400s. incline 100lb dumbbells at the age of 21...fuck with me
