Do you think Rams' players are celebrating right now? I mean, yeah, Long was all-in on Twitter about loving Saint Louis but the fact is they're going to Los Angeles. When the shitty team drafts you, you have to stick up there eventhough you're paid millions.
Now, you're living in Beverly Hills. I think they're wasted right now with their families. Completed career.
why would anyone want to live in LA? i was there once and it's full of niggers and spics, literally half of people there don't know how to speak english.
sure st louis is also a shithole, but at least kansas isn't that far away and their bbq is glorious
Not necessarily, every team has different taxes applicable to them, and IIRC California has some of the harshest payroll taxes towards pro athletes.
Combine that with the fact your cost of living just doubled pretty much across the board and it's not as clearcut as you would think, the players all essentially were just given a pretty substantial paycut
OTOH LA has beaches and is cooler than St. Louis so it's not all shit
A big difference come tax season. Commiefornia is a broke socialist hellhole. Rich people get raped by the state so they can have dem monies for dem programs. Too many gibs me dats in that state.
Why am I seeing >Ferguson >SL is biggest shithole ever etc in other thread if you're literally saying you would think twice before moving to LOS ANGELES?
I might be mistaken since I'm not american but isn't LA like top3 city?
What is going on here.
>everything costs twice as much or more
>houses cost 10x more, and you'll be living in a smaller space
>LA is full of annoying, self-centered, obnoxious people
Sounds like a shitty deal to be honest
t. pretend rich man
Exactly. If you're in Nashville or Atlanta or Tampa or some other decent city, you might not like moving to LA. If you're in the fucking murder capital of the US, then some players would probably pay to GTFO.
I was watching NFL network last night nd I cant remember the names of the ex players they had on but they both were saying the players will be stoked to be in LA where they can build their brand.
HAHAHA I live in LA and my neighborhood is full of slav immigrants. We have a Croatian Hall AND a Dalmatian Hall.
Youre just another little bitch loser pretending to have been to LA when we all know you havent.
>mfw a shit louis resident calls a river a "beach"
My Asian friend went to Wash U law school. He said the only good thing about STL was East STL. He could go to the ratchet strip clubs all the time because he wasn't white and therefore wouldn't get shot.
yeah living in actual LA sucks, but anyone who is rich has their choice of top-notch places to live like Beverly Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, etc.
Los Angeles isn't a typical city, its just a huge (in terms of space) aggregation of smaller cities/towns, and while some of them are quite shit (Compton, Watts, etc.), the others are very nice.
So let me get that straight, guys.
Official /sp/ opinion is that LOS ANGELES is on the same level as SAINT LOUIS?
Just to make sure.
Right now the scoreline is 21 yay/ 5 nay in this thread.
I am surprised though.
>implying millionaire celebrities are hurting for cash and still won't have anything they want/need
/sp/ is a bunch of poor neckbeards that can't afford to live anywhere nice. If they were in NYC they'd live in Queens and bitch about how shitty it was.
You know what, the flyover fags are right. LA sucks. I mean who would wanna play baseball right on the edge of the pacific ocean? Playing in the middle of a farm field is way better.
Don't be mad on Eurobros just because Kroenke stole your team.
I'm just surprised that this is official opinion. I have ALWAYS thought LA is top3 city like I said in this thread. But you guys literally destroyed my opinion and I'm really surprised. SL is murder capital jesus christ ..
LA is weapons-grade shit, though. The city is covered with a layer of smog that makes Beijing blush, the traffic grid is unbelievably congested, it's riddled with crime and the water tastes like farts.
Not that St. Louis is anything different, it's just in smaller amounts.
The only good cities in the US are in the Bos-Wash Megalopolis, iibqhwyf
Oh look another flyover fag pretending he's been to LA before and hasnt just seen it on tv and movies. We all know you pathetic bitchass couldnt scrounge the movie for a greyhound ticket here.
Probably that's true.
When I'm reading those threads about Hue Jackson and teams that are interested in him (Cleveland, SF, NY and Detroit) I'm always assuming it's between SF and NY then. I mean .. who the hell would turn down SF or NY? True worldwide capitals but now I'm not sure anymore. If some guys here are comparing LA and SL as equals, then maybe they will do it with NY and Detroit as well.
From the standpoint of a pleb without any money, L.A. is a fucking nightmare. It's all the worst parts of living in a large city combined with all of the worst parts of living in suburban sprawl.
That's for plebs without money though. I'm sure these guys are going to enjoy the active nightlife more than they'll hate the godawful traffic.
Hahaha called it. The little bitch is too ashamed to post his meager paycheck. Thats why you live in a shit farm state with awful weather, cause youre too poor to live anywhere better.
>tfw you have to take a timeout from BTFO out flyover fags to go buy your medical marijuana
Does Missouri even have legal weed? Seems like one of those red states where a gram of pot gets you a mandatory minimum sentence of 5 years in prison.
This is so true. I've visited LA twice to get my VISA, so I was there for not very long, didn't have money to spend and didn't have a car to travel around in.
It was literally Hell. I had a nice ass hotel but other than that it fucking blew. If you have money I'm sure it's one of the nicest places on the planet though.
>ratchet st louis ghetto stripper hoes and flat booty beckys
>fit la white women and thick latinas
all the other shit like traffic and taxes or w/e doesnt mean a godamn thing to a nigga whos getting paid
>it's an aggregation of small towns
Those are called suburbs, and you've more or less described every city in America. Main city whose borders spill over to the surrounding suburbs.
