Calling the Packers game.
>The Redskins are going to be up by 5 points making a FG with 30 seconds left.
>Packers get the ball back and a few throws they've moved up 40 yards and the playclock has 6 seconds left
>Aaron Rodgers messes up and the clock goes down to 00:00 but a penalty that isn't actually a penalty that gives them time back
>Aaron "I really like women" Rodgers throws a successful hail mary like he did against the lions
Fucking guy could get hammered and kick a 60 yarder with one eye clothes.
Who wants to see an NFCCG with two NFC West teams?
last vikings webm of the season
i just feel empty inside
It was shorter than an extra point
how do you miss that?!?
>Yfw Alex Smith wins the superbowl in the Stadium of a team he played for and got benched on
>Yfw Kaepernick sits there watching from the stands with tears in his eyes as Alex Smith makes the game winning drive.
What kind of kicker is better from beyond forty than he is from extra point distance?
Was 27/29 and fucking nailed a 60 yarder last week. Easily could have been back up 5-7 yards and still drilled it.
you may only post in this thread if your team has an elite kicker. Post em lads
Love you Adam <3
>he's a "professional kicker"
>can't even kick a field goal that's closer than an extra point
Not a vikes fan but jesus
>you will never give pete carroll a kiss after winning the game
Defensively yes. But nobody has ever dissed Minne's defense.Everyone knew it was/is the offense holding them back especially at QB.
Minnesota has some problems on offense. I think adding Peterson took away the connection Norv and Teddy had. He's had spectacular games like Rodgers as well as not so good games like Rodgers. He needs help for sure.
That's because AP sucks the creativity from that offense.
When McKinnon is in the backfield he at least gets the opportunity to do something other than watch AP scrape for 2 yards and probably fumble.
>Alex Smith playing on the field with numerous sad colin kaepernick camera shots in the stadium
Whether the chiefs win or lose, it would need a sequel of this.
At the end of the day, he's the only reason the Vikings were on the board.
>Blair Walsh held up during a media interview session, but he is now sobbing at his locker. Hard not to feel for him.
This is all Adrian Peterson's fault i expect him to get traded in the offseason to Dallas
Team looked better without him last year and he's only been good vs shit teams this season.
It's so fucking hard to repeat in modern football; once you win a championship, everyone wants to get paid
The same thing happens in college, too (look at all the mass early declarations from Ohio State)
>being up by 14 and letting brady shit on you
>terrible pass play read by a rookie
>lucky 7s negate your dubs
The offense did what they could, though (minus the fumble). You forget, they set him up to win against the Legion of Boom. It sucks, but Walsh shouldn't be on the team anymore.
>your teams legacy is that they are filthy cheaters and no one cares about your rings except unpleasable new-englanders
But at what cost anon?
I'm sorry but he was perfect from distance in the worst imaginable conditions. His team failed him, Adrian Peterson especially. He fumbles again and Blair gets scapegoated despite carrying that team all day
Who would he convert to? You saw him today put the ball perfectly in Diggs' hands on 3rd and long, just for him to drop it. Good coverage or no, he did everything he could.
>an amazing defensive play ends an amazing drive made possible by an amazing catch after an amazing comeback in an amazing Super Bowl
>LOL DEM HAWKS xD (a-am I in the 4chan club yet??)
did you watch the game? instead of throwing the ball away countless times he tried to rush or fell down and got sacked.
Though I will admit he did have a few decent throws in the final drive.
>all of these teams finding ways to lose at home
>tfw your team plays at home
Eh the wrong team won the last Super Bowl by pure luck and were gifted it. Sports isn't always fair. When Pats lose their first game and Seahawks still in it lets really laugh in their faces, thats all we can do.
I really hope the Vikings can work a trade with Dallas or something.
Peterson wants it. It would be better for the Vikings. Jerry is just crazy enough to do it.
The secret is to get a bunch of undrafted free agents and have an elite QB throw at them.
That is true, but he also outscored the offense by making all 9 points. Idk man, I wouldn't be mad at him for his efforts. If they can find a more accurate and skilled kicker, then go right ahead but do it because the new guy would simply be better, not because of this game.
>/nfl/ literally can't go one thread without mentioning the Patriots cheating
there are 31 other teams in the league, It's not healthy to obsess over one so much.
Rather a meme QB than a shit one. Thanks for the draft pics doe.
sounds like a plan family
>and hopefully they wont keep only a one point lead in carolina
What could he have done better today? Maybe he could have thrown the ball away more, but sometimes you just have to run the play until the end, whatever that may be.
>7 playoff wins in 4 years and still can get more
he was fine today, didn't throw enough because they don't trust him but it's w/e
i'm just saying that russell is much better than teddy, so if russell is a meme what does that make teddy?
>hawks up by 14 going into the forth quarter
>brady brought the pats to lead and then showed up defensively
>called luck after a similarly "lucky" catch by kearse
you trannies really are delusional
A pocket passer in a bad situation. When Peterson isn't on the field, Teddy has 300+ yard games. They're using Peterson in a way that actually hurts Teddy. If they really didn't trust him, then I think they'll draft a QB this year.
>muh super bowl
>muh beating up on bad teams during regular season
>muh worked with bill walsh 1,000 years ago
mccarthy seems to have cemented a free pass to do whatever in GB and as a burrs fan I'm loving it
>mfw Seahawks fan complain about muh luck when the interception came after Kearse caught the luckiest catch since David Tyree.
>euro worth more than $
I get your joke in regards to maybe spain or greece, but you were literally just talking about brits. Just stop pretending like you know anything about this planet, friendo
Arty any rate, I'm happy with the season they've had. Got a bright future next season
>Brony absolutely anally destroyed and trying to take blame off his no TD throwing hack QB
I think they should get another star wide out in case Johnson doesn't work, decide whether McKinnon is the guy to "replace" AD and lock down Harry the Hitman
it's okay to be mad xhec ucks but these trips don't lie
there are two types of Patriots fans. The ones that always play the victim role and think they do no wrong and the shitposters who don't give a shit and purposely annoy everybody.
Did someone miss a field goal? How often does that happen at pro level?
All these vikings fans defending Walsh.
Fucking cut that faggot. I was literally in a bar telling the other vikings fans he only misses inside the 30 and he was gonna shank it. If you believed in it that's your fault fellow vikings fans.
I don't care he scored all the points. People should get cut for performances like that.
At the very least they need to draft a new contract.
He's getting paid bank to be mediocre.
it's happened a lot this season. It's the fact that he was kicking great FGs all game and the chip shot that a high schooler could of made was missed. Not only missed but BADLY missed.
Is Tom Brady still elite?
>Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 1m1 minute ago
>Before Blair Walsh's missed, 27-yard game-winning FG attempt, kickers had been 189-of-191 (99.0%) on FGs of 27 yards or shorter this season.
The Seahawks stacked the box every time Peterson was in the backfield. You're an idiot if you think that it was Peterson's fault Seattle dismantled their offensive scheme and forced Teddy to prove he can't carry a team.
>police12 still hasn't posted soles yet
I hate you
They completely took away the receivers, though. Go look at the highlights and see how much pressure those receivers were under. At least Teddy had 0 turnovers and plenty of good passes.
Which is worse?
>Football: missing a game-winning field goal from 27 yards
>Basketball: missing two free throws when down 1 with less than a second remaining in the game
What would be other examples of choking in gimme situations from other sports?
haha what a faggot
get paid millions of dollars to kick a ball once a week 5 months of year.
fucking buck up, make the hicks your supposed to make and dont be a pussy. Yeah I dont feel bad for a faggot like that
They aren't overhyped.
They have a few decent players, a worthwhile franchise QB and a fairly good defense
They have a team that can win a playoff game but are held back by their own chimpery
As opposed to Bellicheat and Tom "Crumples like a wet paper bag to a good passrush" brady
if you told me the Redskins would kick the Packers ass when this season started I would of called you a fucking idiot.
Now look where we are...
>tfw you have no idea what Patriots team is going to show up against the Chiefs so you're keeping your mouth shut until you know for sure.
>2 red-zone forced fumbles
Easily the best ILB taken in the 2014 draft.
>tfw 49er fans will commit suicide is Alex Smith wins a superbowl inside their teams stadium
Can't you guys see, anon. It is only Alex Smith's destiny to win this year. To make Kaepernick cry. To make the 49ers realize their dreams are crushed and Smith wasn't as bad as they said he was.
lol to what? Lose again in the playoffs next year?
If they don't win the super bowl, it's not a satisfying year. I kind of hope they lost to Detroit week 2 so I could have completely given up on this team instead of having that 2% of me being dragged along with a team that never was going to win the Super Bowl after that pathetic performance against San Fransisco.
Most people wonder why I hate other Vikings fans so much. It's because shit like this, everyone tries to be positive and "Minnesota nice" after these big losses. Do you even listen to yourself or read your posts before you submit? The Vikings aren't ever going to win any big games.
Telvin Smith is an all-round better player than he is
>"Julius Thomas is a Manning babby" - /sp/, 2015 offseason
Are you new to liking the Vikes? Things have been so awful that I take joy in having a better season than the last one. AND they won the NFCN to boot. Of course I want them to win the owl but if they don't then what? Self loathe for being a Viking fan? Hate on the team and contemplate switching favorite teams? No. In a season like this one, I take pride that we grew and beat the fucking puckers for the division. If you can't see past their failures and take pride in the accomplishments of this season, you're fucking fairweather. I'm indifferent if you don't like other Vikes fans.
Lol no. I mean aside from the bronco game they weren't really playing anymore so I can't say for sure. Carr would've done better than bridgewater though, the Vikings where going as far as Peterson would take them and that wasn't very far. 50 yards on 20+ carries is fucking terrible and oliwale and Murray would've matched that. Carr would've been slinging it more for better or worse, but our d (namely our secondary) isn't better than Minnesota's, we'll never know man.
>Are you new to liking the Vikes?
Lel I've been a Viking fan far longer than you by the tone of your post. I can remember the first time I had my dosage of what the Vikings do (it was overdue at the time) in the playoffs.
Then I remembered actually thinking that we had a broken the pattern of losing big games in 2009 and then being disappointed when they lost. After that, I knew that I likely would never accept the fact the Vikings could win a big game until it happens. Call it hypervigilance, call it pessimism but it's reality.
>Hate on the team and contemplate switching favorite teams?
Too late for that bud. There is a large part of me that wanted them to move so I could be liberated from them and move towards a fan who loved the game but hated the teams.
>If you can't see past their failures and take pride in the accomplishments of this season, you're fucking fairweather.
Nope I'm just a Vikings fan who knows that until some miraculous action happens the cycle will continue on and on. Call me a sadist but I do take pleasure in watching that bright light of hope burn out in young Vikings' fans eyes because I know I'm right and is vindicating. I don't like watching the light come on and off in older people because I hate the delusions of grandeur our fanbase has. Those people are so far gone they can't be saved. Only pitied when the pattern happens over and over again.
This team has literally done a greater big pile of nothing (one championship and they still lost the Super Bowl that year). There is nothing to be proud of.
If Kelce could honestly play more consistently he'd be top 3. The guys ahead of him are always dominant or a threat week in and week out. Kelce tends to get favorable matchups or gets shut down.
He's not pathetic, he just hasn't learned yet. New fans haven't learned what it's like yet. Give it some time and he will and if he doesn't accept it by the next time then you can call him pathetic.
The guys ahead of him all block very well. Kelce does a serviceable job, but cannot consistently matchup against d-linemen or linebackers and win. While you see Gronk and Eifert manhandling guys blocking, you'll see Kelce do that once every few weeks or so. He's much more active as a receiving threat.
The worst thing about this vikings/seahawks game is that the horse fucker is back.
Why isn't this shitbag banned?
I don't know how long you've been a fan, and by YOUR tone, I don't care. You're a fan who enjoys seeing others who like the same team give up on them so you can feel a sense of pride in being right about the Vikes shortcomings. I am not disappointed in playoff losses for just that fundamental reason. If it were similar to the Bengals making it every year, being one and done and no growth occurred from year to year, I could see being bitter. And no one is holding you prisoner to root for them on the sole basis of them possibly being the closest team to you geographically. Stop going for them, you obviously don't like them and haven't for a while if you become so easily disenchanted with them during an up season. I'm far removed from having delusions of grandeur. I believed the Vikes weren't ready for an owl appearance this season judging by how last season and the offseason went. I did think they'd be better this year, but that's about it. I like my squad. If you don't, that's you. Go frontrun with the pats or panthers.
Post vikqueens faces when they should have just thrown the packer game so they could have gone farther in the post season
I value sticking by my squad. I value every victory that made them better than last year, including a "worthless" divisional title. I'm not mad or upset, I'm firm in my beliefs and will defend them if necessary.
I disagree familia. While he did play decently before he tore his shit up, he clearly couldn't care less about blocking anything. He only cares about receiving, and this deep into his career he's not that good at that. Jimmy G doesn't fit into that offense unless he gains weight and finally decides to block somebody.
Are you sure? He was talking to me earlier and we were agreeing on what we thought of our team. But I suppose I wouldn't put it past him. If it is him he really is worse than sneak
>Pete Carroll is the oldest coach in the NFL
J.D from scrubs!
oh fuck i have his rookie card
GET FUCKED VIKUNTS
REDSHARTS ABOUT TO GET EXPOSED TOO
I don't mind the division winners getting to host
It's a perk of winning a division
But why do the Panthers have to play the Seahawks? Why does the divisional win carry over?
It should be worst record at that point
That was a fucking ridiculous catch in 0 degree weather.
I don't see how the Seahawks could get the Texans back into the playoffs and then make Hoyer and Weeden unable to play.
Reasons to hate the Kansas Shitheap Queefs #627: Playing against the Patriots, effectively making me choose to root for the Patriots. Never thought I'd see the day, even when SJax signed on with them. Fuck you faggots for that.
Next time, breh
>but porter was on the field its not fair
>coaches are not allowed on the field
anybody got a webm of that botched snap that Wilson turned into a first down pass?
Did the Vikings and Packers even try to win in week 17? Surely they both knew that losing meant they get an easy first round matchup in the playoffs.
>Feast Mode running an absolute train on the Foreskins
>Vikindergartener fans NOWHERE to be seen
This is a comfy ass Sunday.
>It's a liberals win and fudge packers rejoice episode
Paxton Lynch aka White (non meme) Cam Newton WILL be a Philadelphia Eagle
Paxton Lynch WILL be OROTY
Paxton Lynch WILL Lynch ever nigger out there
Paxton Lynch WILL set a deep ball record to Riley Cooper
Paxton Lynch WILL bring 6 owls to Philly (in a row)
Paxton Lynch WILL go down as the goat qb
Paxton Lynch WILL die on the field from a butthurt enfuled dirty hit by one of many thug players contracted by the cowboys who WILL then defend this dindu behavior and be relegated to the CFL (or more fittingly the LFL) because of it
(Tiki's wife's son approves of this post)
>every team at home during the playoffs has lost so far
g-great omen, i-i'm sure they'll do fine
I hate the Vikings because they won't get over the fucking Joyner/Bridgewater hit. Suddenly our whole team is dirty because of that, and apparently Gregg Williams is to blame for no reason at all. My friend is also a huge Vikigs fan and turns into a total twat during NFL season.
I hate the Patriots because fuck Boston and I'm also still salty about Super Bowl 36.
I hate the Chiefs because FUCK Kansas Shitheap in general.
I hate the Cowboys because I inherited the hate from my Pops.
I hate the Redskins because they won't let go of the fucking RG3 trade. Get over that shit. They also acted like they're hot shit when they won the retard division in our conference. (No offense, Eaglesbro).
I hate but respect the 49ers because true rivals.
I just fucking hate the Seahawks because their fans are the worst in the league and they collectively shit their pants in a fecal tsunami when we beat them.
Bro teams: Lions, Raiders, Eagles, Cardinals.
>mfw all home teams lose during the playoffs with the away team winning the owl
Minnesota hate Broship being forming
little pls, they already got BTFO by the Chiefs don't want it to happen agin
>Ben hurt and can't throw deep
>Have to face the best defense in MileHigh
The only hope is a Manning choke or divine intervention.
I have never felt so defeated after a victory.
