Well Coppell, like any other a rich white city in Texas will have High Schools with top notch facilities, while schools from less affluent areas like some in DISD or any poor area in Texas has normal, or shitty facilities.

Southern schools tend to be really good at sports because they never have enough money for books or classrooms, so that leaves grass and balls.

Texas has some of the worst education in the country.

No. When I was 14 my high school spent $75,000 on artificial turf. I was outraged. And then I learned that the parents and staff raised that money. I also learned they raised money to pay for the teams equipment and a brand new weight room.

In reality, these sports programs are nearly always entirely self sustaining. So not only do the kids get a chance to participate in a sport with some sweet digs, the school is allowed to use the shit they didn't pay for.
