oh also to add a kicker to the jets' failure season: they came into buffalo with the record for fewest rushing touchdowns allowed in a season with 2
they gave up 2 in the first half against a buffalo team without lesean mccoy to lose the record
give me a reason outside of "memes" why the bengals wont win on saturday
The entire team will be healthy(excluding dalton). This includes iloka and pacman, who were both injured back in week 14. That improves the secondary by alot when it comes to covering antonio brown. mccarron has experience and has been playing good ball. also note that that deangelo williams was hurt in the game against the browns. That's going to hurt the steelers a lot if he doesnt play. Cincy has a very good chance of winning this game
Why are they the only even marginally likable team in the AFC Playoffs, /sp/?
For the record, the Steelers have now lost Roethlisberger for 4+ games, Bell for 10 games, Pouncey for the season, Beachum for 10 games, Bryant for 5+ games, Shazier for 4 games, Suisham for the season, Hartley for the season, Gradkowski for the season, and Williams for the playoffs.
And we still 7th Superb Owl :^)
>Coughlin resigns because of the poor showing
This fucking team.
Los Angeles Coliseum or the Rose Bowl I'm guessing, where USC and UCLA play, respectively. if two teams get approved to play in LA, then one will have to go to each, with a college game in one stadium on saturday and a pro game in the other stadium the day after, every week. except for that rams game in london, of course.
Not as booty blasted as you're going to be when the Bungals playoff win drought continues. What is it 27 years and counting?
>at the Time of the draft it looked like Romo would be playing at this level behind this line for at least 3-4
>THats too long to get a top QB to just sit on the bench and learn
Never stopped the Patriots from drafting backups.
The thing is, the NFL is always going to be starved for starting quarterbacks so even if you don't find the successor to your franchise guy, you can always get some draft picks for your backup later.
>their best player is on defense
true of the chiefs, broncos, and arguably the bengals
you could make a case for that being true for the seahawks and vikings too
who do you want to draft? goff? o-line? something else?
>if you don't find the successor to your franchise guy, you can always get some draft picks for your backup later.
reminder that Andy Reid got a second round pick for both A.J. Feely and Kevin Kolb
Post >yfw the next meme offense is the triple option
OFFICIAL TEAM(S) POSSIBLY MOVING TO LA POWER RANKINGS
3. Rams + Chargers
1982. Rams + Raiders
9001. Raiders + Chargers
IMMENSE POWER GAP DESIGNED TO SEPARATE REAL POSSIBILITIES FROM NONSENSE
99999999999. All three
collesium or rosebowl
Raiders did it better than the rams but the rams didn't sign a stupid contract where local stations require the stadium to be filled at 85% to prevent black outs
either way there are a lot of college parks that will take a tenant or two.
>mfw loser fans now have to talk about their offseason and not the playoffs
>mfw I refer to teams as their city and having to say "New York Giants" and "New York Jets" is a pain in the ass
>mfw if LA gets more than one team
oh, was your point that the texans' best player right now is on defense, or best player ever is on defense? i got confused
some team will probably draft keenan reynolds for the memes
not everybody gets to be born in the greatest city in the world m8. its ok
>Tom Coughlin was 102-90 in his tenure as the coach of the Giants
>will still get into the HoF
Shouldn't be surprised, they let Lynn Swann in after all
right now in this order
o line was a nightmare
so were other things
Gabbert surprised me and looked decent enough that reaching for Goff might not be the best option
Don't be fooled, Gabbert is a career backup.
The QB position needs to be addressed but the 49ers right now aren't a situation built for any quarterback to find success. That could ruin a rookie but it's definitely a need.
Gabbert shouldn't be the starter heading into the season.
>But I was making the threads at 500 posts though
i know and that's why i didn't call you cancer but it is my duty as a 49er fan to say fuck the dallas cowboys
i'd rather have dallass queerboy threads at 500 than weebshit 50 posts early
either way it's a weird point to bring up
plenty of super bowl teams have had their best player be on defense, and plenty of teams have their greatest player of all time on defense
i really don't think gabbert is the solution, but you could just draft a QB in the later rounds and shore up that tragically bad o-line first
i'm not looking at Gabbert as the answer but a bandaid
the 49ers need to figure out the oline first so they don't get a new qb and throw him out there and let him get sacked into oblivion
k, send over your RT and we got a deal
why is $cam constantly getting BTFO by his local media outlets
i mean even if their letters to the editor and shit, ultimately the paper decides what gets printed.
>AMARI COOPER MOST DROPS IN THE NFL
HE BETTER GET MORE CONSISTENT NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm in favor of this
how many of these women had to be paid off do you think?
true, next season is by default a rebuilding one anyway
i still think you should draft a backup while letting gabbert absorb the losses
hopefully they can get an impact tackle in the first or something
do they need a new center? nick martin could be a nice 2nd rounder
The 49ers might just need guards, depending on a few things.
Daniel Kilgore should be ready to play next season, assuming he can stop getting injured. And Anthony Davis keeps teasing that he's going to unretire.
If we get both those players back then we'll have our tackles and center so we'll just need a pair of guards.
They were both better than good, and media darlings.
Swann was a SB MVP and was selected to the all decade team (receiving the 2nd most votes among offensive players).
Bettis sits 6th in all-time rushing yards in an era where RB's like him were long gone.
>I don't know, man. The Oilers could give them a run for their money.
Can confirm this. Houston NFL teams are fucking cursed.
Bud Adams was an idiot who wanted nothing more to leave Houston for bumfuck Nashville, and kept fire selling the team so nobody would show up.
Then we get the Texans, and Bob McNair is an idiot who's satisfied with mediocrity and thinks that "we don't need a superstar QB, just average, adequate QBs."
>Bettis sits 6th in all-time rushing yards in an era where RB's like him were long gone.
that's because he played for like 20 years. He averaged like 3 YPC and was never at any point in his career considered one of the elite backs. Guys like Sanders, Smith, Alexander, Holmes, Tomlinson, Martin etc etc were always in that debate for the best of their era's but never once was Bettis included in that conversation.
>mfw eagles trade them every one of kellys oregon 'buddies' for draft picks rape
>mfw the good ones like thurmond come back to the eagles after one year
>@realDonaldTrump 18m18 minutes ago
Woody Johnson, owner of the NYJets, is @JebBush’s finance chairman. If Woody would’ve been w/me, he would’ve been in the playoffs, at least!
if true ok but how
>Looking at numbers now
You faggots forget what era you live in, a 4k passer is average now but was unheard of back in the 70's. Swann at his retirement was a top 10 receiver in yards and touchdowns. And is they let Charles Haley in Bettis deserves it too
>tfw with a different head coach and offensive system beckham's numbers can drop and people can stop sucking his dick like hes the next goat when he is just a stat padding babby in a weak division like andrew luck
>luckily they're drafting hackenberg this year
Hack's what happens when you put Ryan Mallett and Brandon Weeden in a blender and hit "go". It's going to go about as well as you'd imagine.
Albert Breer @AlbertBreer 9 mins9 minutes ago
Per source, Patriots QB Tom Brady has a high ankle sprain. Not an ideal result, but Brady's played through worse in the past.
I'm beginning to think it's ogre
Dont even joke about something like that
BoB is gonna make him great again, just like trump will make america great again
gonna be pretty hard to do that without a second rounder senpai
no way hack doesn't get drafted before the 3rd too
He averaged 3.9, which dropped considerably his last few years when he was being used solely as a short yardage back with Willie Parker. If it was 0.1 more nobody would make a fuss (Martin's is 4.0). Also, longevity is even more important than brief periods of dominance. Otherwise Terrell Davis would be in, where he doesn't stand a chance.
coming off a 5-11 season
another new HC
QB options are Gabs, Kap, some random FA or some untested rookie
oline is questionable
defense outside of Bowman, see oline
York/Baalke draft extravaganza
if the 49ers can get a solid season or maybe 2 out of Gabs while they try to shore up the line and groom a young QB behind him it would be nice
an example of the o line quality
49ers tied with Cleveland at number 2 for most sacks allowed (53)
Only the Titans gave up more sacks (54)
center might be ok now that Kilgore made it back a few weeks ago, the right side of the line has been the weakest point
Trent Brown showed some promise at RT in his very limited playing time but who knows, it would be neat to see him succeed and have a 6'8" 350lb RT
>all this uproar about bettis
>none about Charles Haley
Haley was far worse than Bettis in his career, he average around 7 sacks per season and barely topped 100. He only got in because he lucked into 5 rings.
Ready to beat that faggot Rodgers this Sunday.
guys i'm nervous
something bad's about to happen i can feel it
YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE JETS
YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO DESTROY THE BILLS NOT LOSE TO THEM
BRING BALANCE TO THE NFL, NOT LEAVE THE STEELERS IN THE PLAYOFFS
I loved you krabs.
Salary caps are for poor companies, the NFL is rich and thriving anyway.
If you can't afford to staff a good competitive team, you don't belong in the most elite level the game could be played at.
>yfw the Poopskins redeem the NFCEast by winning it all
Neither one deserve it IMO, I agree with you about Haley. If he didn't have rings he doesn't get in, same with bettis. If bettis didn't "win" in Detroit he never would have gotten in.
search your feelings
you know it to be true
>Only the Titans gave up more sacks (54)
lol remember when irrevelant wanted to draft bosa instead of tunsil
and in that case ronnie stanley i suppose? are you guys planning on keeping staley? because staley and stanley is a great sounding combo
shh they're going to hire gase it's fine bby
I SAW SECURITY FOOTAGE OF KRABS AND IRRELEVANT... DIDDLING YOUGLINGS
>iggles hire amateur coach
>iggles fire amateur coach
>iggles hire amateur coach
That would be gold
Too bad it's fake
gase isn't leaving the bears to go OC somewhere else dingus
i actually checked, but only just to make sure
so much has happened lately that you can never be certain
which team are you a fan of polan
i hope so
Joe is signed through 2019 and been the leader and only decent player on the oline for the last 2 seasons and Boone might be gone since he's a FA
god damn typos, can't multitask for shit
>conference later this afternoon.
Whoever was asking about why the giants line was so fucking god awful
Pic related is why
I checked to actually
so if you were in charge of the browns, and werent allowed to just kill yourself or move or disband the team, who would you choose as the new head coach to give them the best chance of not being shit again?
Rick James - Seahawks
Couch - Every other team in the playoffs
Eagles getting Goff in the first and pulling OL as the draft goes on.
I'm so excited for the Eagles healthy linebacker corps next year. Hendricks, Hicks, Ryans, and Alonso if they decide to keep him
she looks like a crackwhore son
get better taste
>If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.
>Not recognizing cool runnings references
plus you'd have to change your trip
if kilgore is decent, staley is staley, boone stays, and you draft an impact tackle, would the line be at least decent?
gase isn't a literally who m8, he's made cutler look like a serviceable QB this year and helped peypey statpad like no one else ever before
he's a far superior option to most of the junk out there simply for his offensive abilities
only other options i'd consider to be as good would be payton or mcdermott
since scherff has actually turned into a bretty good guard for the redskins it makes the draft even funnier, because that's who the gints actually wanted
Roseman is underrated
>implying we will beat the browns at home
Nice quads, but Comp picks are tradable this season and the Ravens always have a fuck ton of them. They're moving up to get Bosa
goff would have to fall pretty far for that to happen, but it's actually not inconceivable
don't forget about barwin and graham either famalam
>tfw hicks is coming to murder romo in cold blood
it's not like we won any before he took up shop here
>moving up from the 6th pick
unlike you ozzie isn't retarded
be happy with VH3 or nkemdiche
Total (19 seasons) : 152-152
Seasonal average: >8-8
>Literal mediocrity for almost 20 years
MY SIDES ARE IN ORBIT
PLEASE MEME GODS HEAR MY VERSE
BREAK THE BENGALS PLAYOFF CURSE
>Good! Use your aggressive feelings, boy. Let the hate flow through you!
IF Boone stays and they move him back to the right side of the line and they get an above average tackle yes
Keeping Boone might be hard though since he's decent and wants $$$. Not sure how the FO will handle a bidding war or if Boone even wants to stay.
That's not happening.
Titans need an OLineman bad so they'll probably grab Tunsil, but they could easily take Bosa.
Browns have one of the worst defenses in the league, they really need Bosa, but they're rebuilding so they're very likely to grab Goff or Lynch.
After that it's a half dozen teams that may want to sure up their defensive edge.
Ravens ain't getting him.
Bros, do you have more pictures of this HOOOO-ER?
FFS, I want to see he in various stages of undress.
thanks for proving you're a retarded nigger. No way that dumb nigger goes that high. He's not even very good and has a fuck ton of off the field issues.
I don't know much about Hargreaves, the one game I saw with him he was getting torched
should be a pretty calm offseason
bradford depends on price and draft preferably like a 7 to 10 million a year
and draft a qb if goff or lynch gets to us at 13
these are assuming we stay as a 3-4
>preferably like a 7 to 10 million a year
I hope we get another sad QB situation during the draft where nobody picks Goff or Lunch until Cleveland goes stupid and leaps back into the first round. Seeing Manziel's face after every pick getting more and more worried was hilarious.
>the browns have hired korn ferry to find them a new head coach. the firm previously helped Jerry Jones hire Chan Gailey in Dallas and has since consulted on high-profile hires such as Bill O'Brien and Chuck Pagano
>hiring a company called Korn
IM COMING UNDONE
hes making 13 right now and he isn't terrible
outside of meme qbs
carson wilson luck dalton all make 7-10 and tannehil is set to make much more
and salary cap will go up like it always does
barwin is a great player, but not flashy so you don't usually hear about him
love having him on the team though, thanks again texans
>He's not even very good
>has a fuck ton of off the field issues
sounds perfect for your team desu
ajirotutu is actually a great ST, who would have thought
don't really want biggers, but if he's cheap af it's w/e
i'd love to have vinny and ced, but that just doesn't seem feasible, so i'd go curry because versatility
thurmond is an absolute must
bradford should be signed unless he wants too much $
Desean really wasn't ever that great at anything other than running past safeties
Not that I didn't love having him but he was cancerous at times and nowhere near as based as Dawkins or Westbrook
Back to fucking snowmen you irrelevant fuck
He isn't that bad.
I don't want someone worse, and I'm sick of BOB babby QBs.
It will be hard to find a that can draft a winning team at all, whoever you want to give credit to without a QB
yeah, plus apparently he's not that committed to the team, which would lead to him leaving the team
in a few years it'll be josh dobbs
i'd take him, but we're actually set on DL
worry about your own >5-11 team first bud
This. It's either Sizzle or Julio Jones
>It will be hard to find a that can draft a winning team at all, whoever you want to give credit to without a QB
We let Maccagnan waltz off to the Jets and they went 10-6 with Fitz at the helm, for fuck's sake.
Meanwhile, we also let Wade Phillips go to Denver, and their defense is #1 after being irrelevant for years.
Smith never should have survived 2-14.
Nigga looks like he came straight up out the Garbage Pail Kids Movie
at least they have made the playoffs
>razorcakes last 16 seasons
when will it end?
I agree. Smith's draft picks haven't been terrible overall, but his FA moves are fucking AWFUL.
Look at the saftey position. They got rid of Quinn, who was at the pro bowl this year, for fucking Ed Reed who was cut during training camp. Meanwhile, Stevie Brown was a complete bust signing and Rahim Moore is currently second string to Hal, who is a seventh-rounder who converted to saftey from corner out of desperation.
how has this ayy lmao looking mother fucker not been posted? he's ugly as fuck
I've got no idea why he refuses to do anything about the secondary. They're stuck in this mentality that pass rush is everything, when we've seen what a good pass defense can accomplish elsewhere.
What? He has no hair. None, and he looks like handsome squidward
so I just threw this together for shits, not really well thought out and doesn't take that many things into account. this is the "standings" for who will get to be the "team of the 2010s" based on how much success that team had. since this season isn't over yet, 2015 isn't added in AT ALL yet, regular OR postseason, so don't bitch at me for that. I'll update it after the owl.
Points system (2010-2014 seasons):
2 points for each regular season win
1 point for each regular season tie
2 points for winning your division
5 points for making the playoffs but not winning
10 points for winning in the wild card round
20 points for winning in the divisional round
40 points for winning in the conference championship
80 points for winning the superb owl
note that you can meet multiple of the conditions above and get points for each, so owl champs will get 140 or 150 points from playoffs alone.

Poor faggot is mad as fuck. All last week he was here gloating and being so happy that his team knocked the Steelers out of the playoffs and now that the Steelers made it, the salt has reached critical levels
Realistic season for Cleveland next year:
>Pats - Loss
>Jets - Loss
>Cowboys - Loss
>Giants - Loss
>Chargers - Win
>Bungles - Loss
>Ravens - probably win if the ratbirds still look like they did this year
>Steelers - Loss
>Bills - Loss
>Dolphins - win
>Iggles - Win
>Redskins - Loss
>Titans - Win
where did you get 15/1? thats good odds
fancied making some free money off WC weekend myself
>tfw had to bet trebles because i know ill get fucked by the >>>>puckers if i go all out on an accy
Okay so a lot of people (not here necessarily), have been bitching about teams getting in just because they won their divisions with shit records, and getting in over teams that didn't win their divisions, but had better records. This won't really fix the "problem" completely- but it might help those fags relax.
Why not take the six teams (4 division winners+ 2 wild cards), and rank them ALL based on record. The 4 division champions wouldn't necessarily automatically have the top 4 spots and thus home field.
So the AFC would look like-
2) New England
4) Kansas City
Thoughts? That way, you're still rewarded for winning your division, but the teams that didn't and have a better record have a chance to gain home field.
>>Iggles - Win
SPEAKING OF WHICH
with the arizona cardinals' loss yesterday, the current possessors of the SuperBelt are the Seattle Seahawks, congrats to you and your retarded logo
belt is also confirmed to travel through the playoffs

>intentional loss to avoid the steelers on the chance the jest jested
I only graph stuff that

They're not making it past the Hawks familia
at least we cucked the Packers out of a division title
>le bellicheat is a genuis meme
>le patriots cant lose
when will this end?
>Not sure how the FO will handle a bidding war
You're not sure? Baalke is still running the show so it'll go the same way it's always gone under him.
The 49ers will set a price on a player and if the player goes over that price they'll walk away.
It's why they kept letting free agents walk.
The Giants is one of the harshest coaching jobs and he managed to coach there for like twelve years and win two Super Bowls. The dude deserves the respect.
>will the bucs ever go back to creamsicle?
League rules forbid the changing of helmets or something.
Nah man I've been on this ride long enough to know how it ends

I just want to piss away all of my money betting on sports and not at an Indian casino slot machine, what the fuck.
>Speical teams blunders and injuries

When your whole offense is based around quick passing to replace the run game because your OL can't pass block or run block and then you lose the players you need to run your offense, your offense sucks
>yfw Chiefs-Redskins Indianb Owl
What is there to refute? I acknowledge my team has a top ten pick every day
Its your turn to refute my original statement without ad hominem you bandwagoning faggot
>yfw they draft nothing but QBs
why do you feel like mentioning it and taking the "wow i am DISGUSTED stance" will do anything about it
like now i know how you feel about it i guess, but otherwise it's just an offtopic post
where did i ever say i was a patriots fan? I'm not
Also if you want an actual refute i'd say banwagoning was a completely irrelevant term because i have no geographical or family ties to any team so I have an entirely free and open choice to select who i follow for any reason. Bandwagoning would imply I abandoned some calling to follow one team for another due to their success, which is obviously untrue
>draft QBs round 1-7
>sign kaep, bradford, fitzpatrick in FA
>still start manziel
the eagles should have done a lot of things, but they didn't do most of those things
not me tho
I'm from the future
Jared Goff breaks the Browns' QB curse and has a solid rookie year. Nearly leads them to a wildcard spot his second, and leads them to the divisional in his third.
Bosa wins DROTY next year and has an absolute breakout season.
Also the Bucs get a wildcard spot next season and the biggest drop in play quality in '16 is the Steelers.
>tom brady's diet
Why dont you eat as /fit/ as Brady does fags?
I like to do this too. but then people always bitch about the methods I use to reach my conclusions.... I STILL PREDICTED WHICH CHARACTERS WOULD BE THE BEST IN THE NEW SMASH BROS WITH MY MATH SO WHO IS LAUGHING NOW
A proud fan of the 6th pick
you have skewed this discussion in the complete opposite direction of where it started and it isnt worth discussing if youre going to keep changing it britbong
So how good will the Raiders draft be next year
Big Reggie taking ova
>Not knowing what Cool Runnings is.
When does junior high school start for you faggot?
You think Josh McDaniels will get a HC job somewhere next season?
i doubt ramsey falls that far m8

i heard the dolphins were interviewing dan patricia, but not much about mcdaniels
it'd be pretty stupid for him to go anywhere else imo
>i used a meme

>i proved i wasnt, nor can i be, a bandwagoner
so in summary ill we've proven is i'm not a bandwagoner, your team is shit and you get mad at memes
eh I'm a tripfag, people bitch at me anyways even when I'm not posting OC. it's just something you have to get used to that comes with the territory. maybe it gets you down, that happens to me at times too, but if you let that stop you from posting more then I suppose you just aren't cut out for it.
>Fats like canola oil turn into trans fats. ... I use Himalayan pink salt as the sodium. I never use iodized salt.

It must be nice to be rich.
Looks brutal if we're going off this years numbers
Still in Oakland. Derek Carr will become better and better.
>Pats - 1st seed
>Broncos - 2nd seed
>Wild card: Raiders/Jets, Texans/Ravens
>1st seed: Cardinals
>2nd seed: Redskins
>Wild card: Burrs/Giants, Vikes/Panthers
Literally anybody can be a bandwagoner
You told me to "stay mad" when I talked about what pats fans say which is-in fact-a patrishit response
thinking that you are a patriots fan this led to the accusation of liking brady to the point of sucking his penis
you, being the retarded, yellow toothed faggot, hopped on ye olde picture display and could only say the ravens suck, which they do, this year.
>you being mad makes me a patriot fan
>literally this line of thought
>is still mad as fuck
>his team is still shit
>has switched from calling me gay to calling me retarded
I dont even need to contribute this discussion you are just swirling about in fury and inward disappointment all on your own. Have you thought about calling me gay again? maybe it'll justify your existence the second time around. There has to be some reason you haven't been stabbed in a riot or after a superbowl party yet
