What's the point of soccer? Soccer is for poor kids who's parents can't afford hockey equipment.
>your national sport is hockey
>it's actually a fake rip-off of real hockey
pretty embarassing senpai, almost as embarassing as american football
They aren't covered with pads and helmets like Kendo """"""""""players"""""""". I dare you to take some kicking on your knee.
Canadians should probably get a decent education in which they learn the difference between "who is" and "whose", instead of spending their time shitposting about a sport they cannot understand
>6'1 is considered giant in Soccer
>6'1 is considered Manlet in Hockey
They suck dick too but they can't show it on TV
What's the point of /sp/
Ice hockey is reddit the sport.
What kind of sport allows players to fight each other?
If I wanted to watch that I'd watch UFC.
It's artificial manliness. It takes more of a man to kiss their teammate or finger their arsehole than it does to have a little squabble with pads on.
>Implying that baseboll isnt a rip off Swedish brännboll.
What´s up with all the anti-football coming from North America lately? All I can see in the catalog is thread after thread about how stupid football is. Don´t like it? Don´t fucking watch it. Simple.
does anyone else get embarrassed by posts like this? i couldnt give the slightest crap about soccer but its a sport that is watched and played just about everywhere. and seriously nobody outside of canada even knows about hockey
what's the point of hockey?
Hockey is for poor kids whose parents can't afford to live someplace warm.
Soccer is more popular than basketball in China. Basketball is after that when it comes to team sports. I think Americans only think basketball is more popular is due to Kobr getting his dick sucked when he goes to China and that shit being broadcasted here in the states.
a lot of the reason that whole thing exists is because of anti-Irish discrimination in US history
it's not as prevalent nowadays but Irish people were pretty heavily discriminated against, Catholic churches were burned, they were kept out of good work, etc. so they grouped together and tried to preserve themselves as an independent group and maintain their "cultural integrity" since the "native Americans" didn't want them as part of the "native American" culture. So you get all this extreme Irish pride shit. Nowadays it just looks stupid but in the past it did serve a purpose
