Yeah, like >>64672363 says a lot of football branded stuff tends to be rather minimalist.
And some people don't want to buy anything more than a shirt, hat and scarf so they just bring their normal clothes.
It's also a bit of a holdover from the 80s, hooligans just used to wear designer clothes and nothing football related at all to avoid police detection, some people still do that nowadays because it used to done all the time.

There will be some but Stoke are in a much smaller stadium and Stoke-on-trent has a population of 250k so that makes it easier.

Maybe the premier league just has a better scaling when it comes to stadium sizes and the size of the clubs.
